Hotels with Bars in Luxembourg City

We really loved this hotel. It was clean, cozy, and had excellent design. When you check in, they charge a deposit of €50 if paying by card or €150 if paying cash, which is returned later. The tram stop is nearby, and it's generally only a 5-10 minute ride to the city center. There's also a good restaurant on the ground floor. Overall, for me, this was the best hotel I've stayed in Europe so far for €135 a night.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a bus stop, offering easy access to the city center as public transport in Luxembourg is free. However, there isn't much else around the immediate area. The rooms are good and clean. My main complaint would be the bathroom setup; the shower lacks privacy and a proper door, essentially being open to the room itself. Inside the shower, there's no door either, which means water splashes onto the floor and you have to be extra careful to avoid soaking everything. Without proper doors, the room also gets quite humid after a shower, and it can feel cold while washing. Otherwise, the room is nice, clean, tidy, a good size, and features pleasant, modern decor. We didn't opt for breakfast due to the high cost, so I can't comment on it. Before checking out, we couldn't open the safe, but the front desk staff quickly resolved the issue for us.

Perfect...welcome, cleanliness, kindness of the staff and the New Year's brunch was a treat in a great setting.

Getting here from the airport is easy by bus, and from the city center, you can take a tram or bus. We arrived at night and surprisingly, I couldn't find the lobby right away – it's actually combined with the most prominent restaurant. The room was spacious and the facilities were new, with air conditioning. Several Novotel hotels I've stayed at in Europe seem to use Rituals bath products. Although there's no free bottled water, there's a water dispenser on each floor by the elevators, which even offers sparkling water. The sparkling water was incredibly bubbly and ice-cold, which was really refreshing. Breakfast is on the first floor, offering a standard European spread. The dairy products were decent, but the bread was just okay, and the air conditioning was set too cold.

Everything about this hotel was satisfying, from its location and cleanliness to the service and amenities. All the staff who greeted us at check-in were incredibly kind and lovely, which made for a wonderful start to our trip in Luxembourg. The room was a bit small, but it felt like a palace compared to the UK hotels we stayed in afterward. I also really enjoyed being able to use Rituals products. When I mentioned that my sister's birthday fell during our stay, they gave her a lovely birthday surprise, which made it a truly memorable experience. 🥰

📍Location: It is less than 10 minutes away from the train station and 10-15 minutes walk to the main tourist areas. 🧹Clean: Overall it's very good, not amazing, but it has everything it should have~ 💰Price: The price/performance ratio is not high, but because it is a last-minute booking, it is okay overall. 🛜Network: Free WiFi, pretty fast 💁Others: The hotel staff will provide you with a map of the city's tourist attractions and tell you that you can take the light rail for about two stops to the main tourist area.

This hotel was a great find. Room was sparklingly clean and comfortable. Equipped with hairdryer, iron, mini bar and plenty of bathroom amenities. Perfectly located opposite the main train station, just a 20 min walk into centre or a 5 min tram ride.  Staff were friendly and helpful. The Asian restaurant attached to the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. I would certainly stay here again.

The single room I booked was clean, but quite small and simple - I would even call it spartan. The staff was not very friendly; I would have expected a bit more. Still, I was not turned away :). The location is convenient, close to both the historical center and the European Quarter. I would stay there again, but without any high expectations.

This is a good hotel right by the central train station and not too far away from the main sights of Luxembourg City. Getting around the city is easy with frequent teams, busses and trains from the nearby station and all public transport is free within the country! The room was good and the beds/pillow were comfy. The room is a bit small but we had enough space to put our things including some space under the bed for our bags. They had a small table in the room with a chair, some shelving and a pretty big TV for the room size. The bathroom was good too with some decent shower products and while most of the room and bathroom appeared clean they seemed to be having some issues with the shower ceiling and that could use some attention. We picked this hotel for the location and the affordable breakfast option because we only had a day to explore Luxembourg and felt the hotel breakfast would be a good start to our day. The breakfast had a nice selection of breads including a seasonal pastry, a pancake machine, cereals, yoghurt and some nice deli meats and cheeses. The juice and coffee machine were also pretty good and they had some to go cups for the tea/coffee. The location of the hotel is maybe not the best for families because it is surrounded by gentleman's clubs and possibly the red light area of Luxembourg. We didn't see anything too bad but would exercise a degree of caution in this area. There are a few restaurants, bars and quite a few shops nearby. We booked this hotel mainly because it was affordable and would consider staying here again to save some money while travelling through Europe. Being here during the Christmas Market season was fantastic and there are lots of nice things to do around the city.

The location is a little away, the next bus is about 150 m from the hotel. The rooms are a little obsolete and despite the ”Please don't disturb” sign at the door the cleaning forces are hitting. The smell of chemical cleaners is very present, and the beds are extremely soft, which is taste. The rooms were clean and were cleaned daily. The wellness facilities such as sauna, swimming pool and fitness room are relatively small compared to the number of guests. I think the food was not the level of a four-star hotel, I have already made better experiences. However, almost all of the staff were very friendly. In total, I would not book this hotel again because I had a soft bed and the hotel has come somewhat in the years
