Hotels with Bars in Weymouth

"I recently had to cancel my reservation at The Fairhaven Hotel due to an unexpected illness, and unfortunately, my experience with their customer service has left much to be desired. Despite reaching out promptly to explain my situation and request a refund, I was met with a firm refusal. The hotel’s cancellation policy was not flexible enough to accommodate my circumstances, which was quite disappointing. I understand that policies are in place for a reason, but a little compassion in times of need would have gone a long way. The hotel itself may have great amenities and a lovely atmosphere, but my experience with their handling of cancellations has overshadowed any positive aspects. I would advise potential guests to carefully consider the cancellation policy before booking, especially if there’s a chance that plans may change unexpectedly. Overall, while I cannot speak to the quality of the stay, my interaction with the hotel regarding my cancellation has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope they can improve their customer service approach in the future."

"Lovely small hotel,  excellent service and friendly staff, hotel is right across from train station and round the corner is 2 mins to beach, breakfast is the best would recommend having.  Rooms are clean and comfortable have all you need plenty of teas and coffee also. Only negatives are plug sockets hard to get too if u needed to use and being an old building there are a lot of stairs depending on what room you are in but we did have help with luggage up stairs al in all a very nice 3 night stay and would stay again"

"The hotel was very clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. It is conveniently located within walking distance of Weymouth Station and directly opposite the beach. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return for my next holiday."
