Dakota Newcastle is an exceptional hotel that delivers a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt refined, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The hotel’s interior is elegant and modern, creating a calm yet sophisticated atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully finished, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean, making it easy to relax and feel at home. What really stood out was the service — the staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. Every interaction felt effortless and well cared for. With its excellent location, high-quality amenities, and outstanding hospitality, Dakota Newcastle is a hotel we absolutely loved and would highly recommend. We would gladly return again in the future.

The hotel is a bit out of the way, and while the surroundings are very quiet, it felt a little unsafe to go out after dark. It was a pleasant surprise that the front desk staff had their own translation device, and the restaurant even offered hot water, showing the hotel's inclusivity and genuine hospitality towards guests from all over the world. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and parking was convenient.

The facilities are relatively new, but there's no main light in the bedroom, making it very dim at night. The bathroom is quite spacious, but lacks heating. The shower has great water pressure, which is a plus. There's a mini-fridge with two complimentary bottles of water, and you can ask the front desk for more if needed. The cleanliness was generally acceptable. The hotel's location is close to the train station. You can faintly hear the train from the room, but it wasn't a major issue. It's an 8-minute walk from the train station to the hotel, but you have to go around the front of the station to get to the back where the hotel is situated. This can be a bit challenging if you have heavy luggage, as the path isn't entirely flat and requires some effort. For service, the front desk offers luggage storage. However, there was only one person at the front desk during check-in, so I had to wait for quite a while.

Right next to airport. Perfect location. Not much menu choice for those with dietary needs . queen accessible room, was huge but the bed was too high, I had to use the chair to climb on and off the bed, I’m only 4ft 9in. Hot chocolate sachets in the room was a bonus.

The location is super convenient, right across from the train station. The hotel decor has a very British feel to it, and the rooms are on the smaller side. However, they charge a £50 deposit per night. Since it was charged to my credit card, it hasn't been refunded yet (it'll take at least a month to process).

Late check in, last minute booking, tge receptionist is the nicest lady ever! I felt very welcome and the hotel is beautiful, acoomodationg and the beds are so comfy! The room looked brand new!! I would gladly stay afain and its only a short taxi ride to tge airport. I had a great sleep too :) see you again soon

The hotel is located next to Newcastle Central station minutes from the Cathedral, the Castle, the centre of the city near Monument. The hotel entrance has a faded grandeur that isn't intimidating, more comfortably worn. The room was cosy with bathtub and shower. The WiFi was a little temperamental but works fine. A plus for me was the pool and spa facilities at the hotel. Nothing better than a swim to start the day. Excellent location and good value hotel.

I booked the Vermont Aparthotel for a business trip to Newcastle, and my mum joined me, hence handy to book an apartment for more space. Great location, friendly stuff with good restaurant recommendations! We truly enjoyed it and would book the Vermont Aparthotel again next time.

The room 515 was absolutely lovely inside to stay over but the taps were extremely hot in the sink and the plugs weren’t working properly as the sink kept jamming in and couldn’t hardly push it to release the water, that also includes the bath so it will need maintenance work so the water runs smoothly and plus you need to replace the bath plug as walked in to a damaged one, great facility’s but the room needs to be a little bit bigger and was expecting a room to not be in a corner.
