"This was our fourth visit to The Queen's Hotel for a short break, and it remains a favorite of ours. Upon arrival, we were originally allocated a room that didn't quite meet our requirements, which was important as my traveling companion has mobility issues. However, the receptionist was absolutely fantastic and changed our room without any issue at all, moving us to a lovely, accessible room on the ground floor.
As always, the staff are courteous and professional, the rooms and facilities are impeccably clean, and the food—both at breakfast and in the lounge—is exceptional value and quality.
The only downside this time was noticing a few cutbacks in the room. Unlike our previous stays, there was no bottled water provided, and no biscuits on the hospitality tray. It’s a small thing, but those little comforts do elevate the stay. Nonetheless, it’s a lovely hotel and we had a wonderful, relaxing time thanks to their excellent service."

Guest UserJust a brief overnight trip so didn't really use any amenities. Breakfast was good, dining room was overly full so had to go in the conference room, which really should have been laid out properly to use and not abandoned chairs everywhere. Should have had cutlery and condiments in that room too.

Stayed here last night, everything was perfect. Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for one night. The hotel is close to the city so just an uber ride away. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we opted for the breakfast the next day which was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Guest UserMy husband had a broken bone in his leg we where booked a room on the first floor. When he saw us he arranged for our room swap, offered us tea and coffee whilst we waited for this to be arranged. All staff were very professional and courteous offering to take our bags to the room. We will plan another trip as we were unable to use the facilities.

Guest UserWe had a lovely greeting and a pleasant suprise our room was ready early so we were able to go straight to the room.
The room was spacious, quiet and clean. Lovely toiletries in bathroom.
The staff throughout were always friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good although a few items were not replenished for quite a while.
We have stayed previously as location is excellent and we are always happy with the service and standard.

For a normal size breakfast you had to pay extra, the heating was broken in the spa so it was quite cold. The hotel did look a bit tatty in places. Service was lacking, always had to chase the staff members. Lovely building and good location.

We had a lovely time it was one of our celebration for our 50th wedding anniversary and the staff were great. I had knee surgery 12 weeks ago. They made sure we had a downstairs room and even found another chair to go in our room as I needed one with arms on to get up.
We had dinner at the restaurant Friday evening and the food and service was quick and excellent.

The fold out beds for kids are uncomfortable (worse than the ones at travel lodge or premmier inn).
Don't bother with breakfast! Kept running out of things and didn't always replace them. Bacon inedible, sausages cheap, no nlack pudding even though it's on the menu and small portions.
I would stay again but wouldn't add breakfast

On the whole a pleasant experience.
From a cleanliness perspective it was fairly good but there were quite a few spiders webs in ceiling corners and under radiators which had likely been there for some time.
Breakfast was fine however when some of our party arrived 10 minutes before the end of serving there were no glasses for juice and no bowls for fruit/cereal to use. Appreciate its close to the end of the time frame but breakfast was still open. Also if you like coffee, then I’d avoid the coffee served at breakfast.
