An amazing place up in the mountain, peaceful and tranquil, great for an escape. It's located lower down than the main village street and only takes a few minutes if walking. However, the owner was incredible, spoke fluent English and on my arrival took me to all the noteworthy places by vehicle which are within 1km. He always offered to take me somewhere if I was going out. The room was very spacious, clean and decorated fitting in with the Japanese theme, the view was good and there's also a balcony accessed from the outside. Bath was good to soak after exploring during the day. The service and food are great, hotpot was delicious, breakfast and coffee perfect. Well worth a visit, highly recommend!!! 💯🔥

Great value for a vacation. The accommodation is beautiful, the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The decor is well-done and the layout is good. For the price, it's very reasonable. The shabu-shabu portion was generous, but the variety of ingredients was limited, mainly focusing on meat. However, the meat tasted good, which is fine for the price. All the facilities are well-thought-out and sufficient for use and relaxation. The pillows and mattress are comfortable. Areas for improvement: There's no phone in the room. In case of an emergency, illness, or needing to contact someone for help, especially for hospital transfers, insect bites with allergic reactions, or someone losing consciousness, it would be difficult to call for assistance. The outdoor slippers are very slippery and unsuitable for outdoor use. Upon entering the room, the first impression was that the floor was damp. It should be dried before guests check in. There were many mosquitoes. None of the doors have screens, and the mosquito swatter was out of battery with no charging cable. We had to unplug the Famicom game console to charge it. Overall, I was impressed with the details and the experience of staying here. I hope these points will be considered for improvement, and I would recommend others to stay here again.

A little corner of Japan nestled in the dense, green vegetation of northern Thailand. It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese establishment, and I must say I was very pleased. We had an absolute wonderful stay here and couldn't have asked for a better experience as a couple. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat away from the noise, this is the place to be. It’s located just 5 km from the main hub, which gave us the absolute best of both worlds: total peace and tranquility at night, while still being a quick and easy drive to all the main attractions, restaurants, and sights during the day. What truly set this place apart, though, was the host. The owner is incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming—especially if you're traveling with furry friends! It’s rare to find places that are so genuinely pet-friendly, and our pet was made to feel just as welcome as we were. Overall, it’s fantastic value for money. Spotless, peaceful, and hosted by someone who truly cares about their guests. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip! Highly recommended!

Probably has one of the best views in the area, room is clean and looks like recently renovated, they are still renovating some of the other tents and the workers start early around 8am and made a lot of noise sawing hammering etc on both days of our stay

With the help of the host from this glamping site, we rented a sedan from them to drive us from Chiang Mai airport to this location. It was very remote, and we are happy the host has such service. We are fully aware of the location, it is also the reason we came here to rest after 7 days of Bangkok trip. We were also very surprised the cleanliness of the site, there is not mosquitos or any other small insects around the camp site, which we were well prepared for that but we are very happy with the environment without worrying this. They must have done a lot of control to come to this state. Thank you! Service is very good, they have golf car to drive us to the restaurant where we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner they will offer pizza or mookata, guess everyone will order this. We stayed at the Kissing star for 2 nights, first night we bought street food from MaeKampong for our dinner, second night we had Mookata, frankly speaking their food is not expensive too, we can hardly finish their whole set for 2 persons. As for their facilities, I think the pictures are self explained. they have marshall soundbar, enabled Netflix, youtube etc, so that one can really rest in the room, listening to the nature and watching tv. Their host can be communicated via whatsapp too, so just tell them anything you need, they will try to help. I love their hospitality even in such remote area but still trying to offer us the best!!!

Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were especially attentive to our elderly family members, looking after every detail. The restaurant staff were also lovely. Breakfast offered great value.
