"The pros:
It is located close to every public amenity necessary to make your visit worth it. The Internet connection is good. The rooms are equipped with good facilities and very clean. I highly recommend this place and will rebook if I happen to visit again.
The cons:
Running these homes entirely remotely with only cleaners who do not speak a word of English is a big flop. I and other occupants had issues and had to reach out to admin in Germany for solution. Imagine the cleaner assigned me to a different room, then packed up my belongings to a storeroom including my groceries in the fridge, whereas I had 7am flight to catch the next morning. I got back to the apartment by 10pm to find out, the cleaners would only come once in a day, meaning no human contacts. Imagine the frenzy to recover my items and travel the next day. Till date, the company has refused to make any compensations."

Amazing
GGuest UserWe spent one night at The Alex before taking a ferry from Pireaus and we were so pleasantly surprised. The hotel is beautifully designed and immaculate (it even has the most incredible scent throughout.) The service was great, and the rooftop restaurants food was top notch. The rooms are very small but especially for our needs it wasn't an issue. Great quality for money and 100% recommend.
JJUAN LUISBrand new, excellent facilities. It also had a gym, and washing machines. Located in Piraeus nearby a nice walk by the sea port with some little eatires and shops but also not from from Athens downtown by public transport or even car which was my case.
Excellent service from the staff, keep up the good work and thank you all!
GGuest UserThe positives.. The hotel was ideal for a one night stay, prior to embarking on a cruise at Piraeus. The location was ideal, very near to the Metro, and the hotel provided a free transfer to the port (albeit in an electric golf buggy!) The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent.
The negatives.. The air conditioning was very poor, and, despite the room having its own digital control panel, the temperature and airflow was actually controlled by a master control panel at reception. This meant having to contact reception each time you wanted to change the temperature or fan speed. The other real down side was the breakfast.. It consisted of a cardboard box (that had to be collected from reception) which contained a myriad of (overly) sweet pastries, a tiny ham and tomato bun, a hard boiled egg and some other mysterious type of flapjack.. Not what we ere expecting!
To be fare, if we were in Piraeus again we would use this hotel, but we would take the room only option!
GGuest UserSuper convenient location right next to the train station. The front desk staff were really friendly, and the room was incredibly clean with a spacious bathroom. Overall, it's a great place to stay, especially if you're planning to take a ferry.
GGuest UserPort Tower Hotel is a gem! Location is great, close to restaurants and cafes. If you’re going on a cruise, it is minutes away to the Piraeus Port. The breakfast is good, lots of choices. And you get complimentary bottle of wine and water bottles everyday!!! Lastly, the staff and the manager are so friendly! I highly recommend Port Tower!
EE100The hotel is great and the bed is great! The location is very convenient for all activities but there are few points that all of us have a common views.
First the water flow of the shower is bad. The water is running so slow and water is not flowing well and seems like it has been blocked by a device to prevent the usage of water.
Secondly, the toiletries provided is empty and there is nothing inside at all but only empty boxes.
Thirdly. The televisions is totally not working at all.
Maybe it’s just our luck that we were given such a lousy room.
GGuest UserWide space apartment very near shopping and pier harbour area for us to catch our 7am ferry next morning. the only downside was lift was too small and there is still a flight of stairs you have to go through to get to the lift so for families like mine with stroller and huge luggage it is not the most friendly way up.
GGuest UserNice stay for the second time. Great location, nice staff and the parking is a big plus. The hotel is clean and the rooms large. It could do with a few cosmetic improvements and refurbishment but the ratio quality/price is one of the best. The breakfast is ok, not the main asset but the staff really kind.
GGuest UserGreat hotel, located close to the public transport including the metro and the x96 airport bus.ideal for going to a game at the nearby football stadium.the room was large, clean and did not have any unpleasant smells.the shower was small with no enclosure, which really was no problem.as for the staff they were all friendly and helpful.would definitely stay here again
GGuest UserBooked into this hotel by Trip as they had booked me into the wrong hotel- another story- on arrival the woman tried to charge me following trip having emailed me confirmation of payment by them following their blunder with the pervious booking. I got the impression she thought she could make a quick killing due to the confusion and me being in a tired/stressed state due to the booking blunder by Trip Which they had sorted after a little faffing around.
I was having non of it and she eventually relented. from thereon it was ok-The rest of the staff were ok and although it was inferior to the hotel I had actually booked it did the job. Basic hotel for a short stay, no facilities really but close to the ferry port and Metro for Athens. The room had a fridge which was handy and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, it is right next to the market which is interesting.
Make sure you have proof of payment if you choose to stay
