A newish hotel, this place is very contemporary and makes use of all the limited space it has in a very efficient way. We were checked in by Valga who was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was spotless and cool. The beds are very hard, so be warned if you like a soft mattress. The room had all we needed, except for milk which you have to get from reception. A continental Breakfast can be purchased for €13. There’s a small gym if you feel inclined to use it. Valga helped with a good restaurant recommendation and called good value taxis for us. She’s was a super-star. Thank you for a great stay.

Had to stay in Greece for a few months. I can honestly say that i could not have found a better place to stay. The Staff were helpful & wonderful, the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable with all amenities close by including restaurants & transportation. The value for accomodation is excellent and i would highly recommend this hotel. One thing for sure is that upon my return to Greece i will definitely book here again. Big Thank you to Dimitri, Helen and all the other lovely staff that made my stay most enjoyable.

We only booked this hotel so that we could take the ferry boat to Sifnos very early the next morning. It was presented on the internet as 'stylish and class', but that is disappointing. It is located on one of the busiest streets in Pireaus, so you also get a lot of street noise at night. Result: poor night's sleep. The reception was friendly, but that was it. You can park as requested...at the back in a very dark street and when you can loosen the chain after a whole procedure. Not feeling safe. You then have to drag your luggage through bumpy streets to the entrance... Parking in front of the door is hardly possible due to crowds. The elevator to the 6th floor(!) was very tight and sweltering. And that was also the room for which you easily paid € 109. Small, musty and a lot of noise on the street side. In addition, the air conditioning was also noisy. we hardly slept. The evening meal took place in a room that resembled a kind of separation room of a crematorium. Creepy! Because we had to leave early in the morning, we could not have breakfast, but they said '...We will provide a breakfast box...' It contained 1 hard-boiled egg, 1 plum, 2 pre-packed rusks, 2 jams, and plastic cutlery. You had to take coffee separately. A disgrace. Together with dinner we paid € 145 for a 'horrible overnight stay'. There must certainly be nicer hotels in this very busy and preferably avoidable city. Take another ferry in Pireaus? I do not think so!

The most important thing to note is it's not in the heart of Athens, but if you are happy with that and perhaps you are getting on an early ferry or a cruise, then this is a great spot. There's actually plenty to do, with lots of bars and restaurants along the waterfront, a lovely walk around the marina to the main port area and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center nearer than if you're in Athens itself. The hotel is gorgeous, spotlessly clean, friendly and welcoming staff, hip rooftop dining/bar area and stylish, modern rooms. The views are lovely, too, right over the marina, so you wake to brilliant sunshine and the coast view. Dinner on the roof is just perfect – the food, the ambience, the service, the twinkling lights of the bay – even if you're not staying here, come here and have a drink. And breakfast in the Botanist is delicious. Shout out to the staff, everyone of whom was welcoming, friendly and helpful, whether it was storing our luggage, turning up outrageously late for breakfast or helping with directions. It's a really lovely, warm and welcoming place and ideal for a business trip or for a couples' getaway.

Family hotel, estimated to be a father and son. Service attitude is very good, 15 minutes to the e7-e8 port, note: no my slippers, no toothbrush, can give you hot water! There are very few dining options around. It is recommended to eat in Athens! Take a taxi from Constitution Square for 16 euros!

We had booked a room and asked for a very special room, but we never had a response from the hotel, so we met with a suite that we didn't want. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel has a nice room with a glass painted in the hall and movements all night ...This is really not quiet. If not, at all at more than € 80 per night we are entitled to ask a little more steps of cotton no dressing ..... This is very insufficient for a suite !! The location of the hotel is scared to see prepare your legs to hope for a more nice, less fearful neighborhood, and especially restaurants because you will need to walk a moment! The hotel is a very good hotel, and the hotel is a very good hotel. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. Café or nothing, hard egg and crocodile monsieur... I can only disconseiller this hotel that is too expensive compared to the offered services.

This hotel is specially booked to go to the port to board the boat, the transportation is convenient, you can go to the port by walking, the hotel is for the convenience of guests! Breakfast is served at 5:00! Breakfast is not bad! Affordable hotel! The hotel is also relatively clean! Cost-effective

An absolutely delightful experience at the Piraeus City Hotel. My friend and I stayed for one night before taking our boat to Sifnos. We were warmly greeted by Nick and his charming colleague upon arrival and checked in quickly, after a long journey. The hotel is beautiful, spotless & stylish. Our room was bright and very comfortable. The hotel provides a tasty breakfast which was included. Nick was still on duty when we left for an early ferry, and bade us farewell, even printed out ferry our tickets! We will definitely stay at the Piraeus City Hotel on our next visit to Athens/Piraeus. Too bad we had only one night Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel is great especially if you're going out on the ferries. We arrived at Athens airport about 8:30 PM and took the metro (blue line) from the airport to Piraeus. Left the metro and walked across the street to the hotel (maybe 50 feet?). Left the hotel in the morning of the second day and walked across the pedestrian bridge to the Blue Star Ferry we would be going on. The bridge has elevators as well. That might have been a 2 minute walk. You can't get more convenient than that. During the other day we took the metro into the city center and enjoyed the city. OK, now for the hotel itself. Superb!! Very modern, clean, comfortable beds, and great staff. Has a good restaurant/bar and is also close to a bakery, etc. When we go back we definitely will be staying at this property.
