It was truly an outstanding experience. Mr. Xu ended up driving us around for our entire stay - from tea stores to local Dai village, till sending us to the train station. We tasted amazing teas, tried local foods, made tea cakes, went to see ancient tea tree with him; he even invited us to dinner with his friends. Breakfast is amazing with view of clouds; the restaurant in the hotel has really good food. Fruit plate every afternoon; tea tasting with Jiangjiang, a Laobanzhang tea expert. We leaned so much about puer tea and tasted some of the best puer teas in the region. One of the most unforgettable stay ever for us and we are so grateful!

I have always wanted to have a tea trip, so our first stop in Xishuangbanna was Nannuo Mountain. After checking a lot of information online, we found that the Tea House B&B was on Nannuo Mountain, and the boss could take us around the tea mountain according to the reviews. So we contacted the boss on the bus passing Xishuangbanna. After getting the affirmation, we got off the high-speed rail station at around 8 o'clock in the evening and rented a car to drive here without eating. It was around 9 o'clock in the evening when we arrived at the B&B. The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic. When they learned that we had not eaten, the boss's wife personally cooked rice noodles for us. This was the best and most authentic Yunnan rice noodles we had eaten in Yunnan for more than a week. After that, the boss also entertained us with his own ancient tree tea, introduced us to the local tea and customs and culture, and probably because it was off-season, he also upgraded my room type for free. The next day, the boss arranged breakfast and lunch for free. The hospitality of the boss and his wife and the family-like treatment made us feel warm and felt that we had taken advantage of it. On the second day, the boss drove us to visit the first ancient tree, invited us to taste authentic tea eggs, reserved a basket of tea for us to experience tea frying, and arranged the itinerary clearly. Suddenly we had an illusion that we were not here to stay, but more like to come to a tea house. In addition to thanks, thanks! Let's get back to the point:
1. Facilities: The room facilities are complete and everything is available. It seems that it was renovated last year, which is very suitable for people like us who have high requirements for accommodation. (Note: We have always chosen newer and highly rated hotels and have never tried to step on pits)
2. Hygiene: Clean and neat.
3. Environment: Elegant and quiet. The room we stayed in has a balcony. When we opened the door, we could see the mountain. In the morning, the mountain was surrounded by fog, and it felt like we had strayed into a fairyland!
4. Service: The boss's family is honest and simple, and treats people sincerely and warmly. People don't feel that they are running a homestay, but entertaining family and friends. I really worry that they will suffer if they continue like this.
In general, this was a very pleasant ”stay” experience, but the time was short. Nannuo Mountain has beautiful mountains, beautiful scenery, good people and good tea, which makes people linger. I will come again next year. I wish the boss a prosperous business and a safe and smooth life! ! There are still many things I haven't said, so I will leave them for next time!

Facilities: The homestay here is the villa owner who bought the house to be hosted for use as a homestay. The park is very large, but many houses are still under construction, there are not many people, and it is relatively desolate, but the park also has supporting love manor and golf courses. The housekeeper gave the owner card and could go to the love manor to see the peacock for free. The only thing that may be a bit troublesome is that the bath is an electric water heater. In order to prevent others from taking a bath without hot water, they cannot take a bath at the same time. As a homestay, the price/performance ratio is quite high.
Hygienic: The sanitation of the homestay must not be benchmarked against the hotel, but overall it is good. After staying for two days, the room cleaning was done the next day. The bedding was very comfortable and clean.
Environment: The environment is quite good, it is relatively desolate, and the walk is still very comfortable.
Service: The service must be praised, on call, what needs to be responded immediately, and we have upgraded the room type, which is really good.

PatriciaDizA Hidden Gem in the Heart of China's Tea Plantations
Our stay at this homestay was nothing short of magical. We traveled as a group of eight, including two young children, three grandparents, and three adults, and every single one of us had an incredible time. Nestled amidst lush tea plantations, the setting is absolutely stunning. Each morning, we woke up to breathtaking sunrises and a serene mist that blanketed the landscape. The house itself is a work of art—crafted entirely of wood and with impeccable aesthetic taste that reflects a deep respect for nature.
But as beautiful as the surroundings and accommodations are, the true highlight of our stay was the hospitality of the host. In our three years in China, we have never experienced anything like it. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying in a hotel. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home.
The food was exceptional, and we were treated to fresh fruits and tea throughout the day. She showed special care for our children, teaching them (and us!) how to make tea, and even accompanied us on a walk to share her knowledge of the local flora. One day, she surprised us with her hidden talent as a musician, singing traditional Chinese songs while playing the guitar and drums. Her smile and positive energy were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us.
This homestay was more than just a place to stay—it was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, warmth, and cultural connection. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, knowing this was the best place we've ever stayed in China. If you're looking for a place that offers not just comfort but also an extraordinary sense of belonging, this is it. Highly recommended!

Room: The hotel is very new, the room decoration is also new, and the overall cleanliness is very good. There is an elevator, so you don't have to climb the stairs with your luggage, which is convenient.
Forest hiking: The exercise intensity is very low, and it is very cool to walk in the forest
Service: The hotel provides three meals a day, and there is also tea brewing around the stove in the evening. You can also drink some coffee in the rooftop bar, which is very comfortable

Guest UserIt is still quite a long way from Menghai to Zhanglang Ancient Village. The proprietress specially drove to pick us up and also saw us off when leaving, which was very considerate.
After checking in, we received one-stop service for food, drink, and entertainment, which felt very good.
Eat: Breakfast is wood-fired hanging pot bean porridge, which is very delicious. I drank three large bowls around the stove and was satisfied. Lunch is mushrooms picked in the mountains. The bright red mushrooms are like elves in the mountains, so beautiful and spiritual. Simple mountain spring water stews into a mushroom soup with a strong aroma of fungus. Dinner is wild vegetables and pumpkin sprouts picked randomly by the roadside, which are also very delicious when stir-fried. By pounding bitter eggplant, pounding river bamboo shoots, and pounding tomatoes, you can taste the unique flavor of the mountains. I also ate their own wild honey, which was sweet to my heart.
Drink: The landlady brought out various kinds of ancient tree tea and Pu'er tea for us to taste. With the sound of rain outside the tearoom and the faint fragrance of tea in the tearoom, we chatted about home affairs in an understated way. I felt that although the landlady is young, she has a sense of self-reliance. The sense of self-reliance and strength brings respect.
Wan: Even though the lady boss is young, she got on her motorcycle and took the two of us on the muddy road in the mountains. She was very cool and comfortable. We were taken up the mountain to pick mushrooms, tea in the ecological tea garden, and ancient tea trees in the primeval forest. We also encountered wild Ganoderma lucidum on the way.
Le: The Baixiang Temple in Zhanglang Ancient Village is particularly beautiful, and the thousand-year-old trees are particularly divine. I like the air, spring water, wild vegetables, ancient temples, sacred trees, and the simple and enthusiastic landlady here.
Accommodation: A quaint wooden house. When you open the window, you can see the unique scenery in the mountains in different weather conditions. The mountains shrouded in clouds and mist after the rain, the sunset glow over the mountains and plains after the sky clears, the lush forests, and the clear air.
Zhang Lang, your beauty, your purity, your tranquility remain in my memory. Thank you for meeting me!

Shishishunsui, pinganjixiangPassing by Menghai during the trip, I decided to stay here on the spur of the moment and booked this hotel. The town is not big, and the location is probably on the edge of the city. The transportation is convenient. Parking can only be on the roadside, and there is no parking space of your own. The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom lighting is not particularly bright, but it is generally OK. The breakfast is simple, boiled eggs, rice noodles, but the taste is OK. The restaurant staff is very polite.

This most expensive room is the one with the worst lighting in the hotel facilities. Daguida has nothing to do with it. The bathtub is easy to wet outside. The tile floor is matched with yellow-painted walls and the wood looks very cheap. The narrow wall kitchen cannot be used at all. It is really not as good as the inn before. There is no partition wall between rain and toilet. The glass door does not have frosted stickers.
The door is facing the aisle, next to the bed, and I feel that all kinds of people can see the room uncomfortable when they walk by. In such a large space, would it be better to put a sofa in front of the bed, otherwise it would be so big to lay a picnic mat for me?
We looked at other rooms in the morning, they were better than this room, this room was not transparent and had no lighting, it was really depressed.
Can it be improved, and the recommended price is lower than other rooms.
Service and attitude are very good, but there are too many injuries

There are very few people coming in the off-season, so it’s a good idea to stay here for 1-2 days leisurely.
After 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock before it gets dark, it's a good time to walk around when the sun is gone. If you live there, it will probably be hot during the day in summer, and the temperature will be very comfortable when walking in the evening😌 It's still very photogenic.
In addition, breakfast is cooperated with Angsana Hotel
If you have energy and friends, you can stop by Angsana to check in🙊🙊

I have lived in so many hotels, this one really makes people feel at home. As soon as I entered the door, I was attracted by the tea cultural elements in the atmospheric lobby. The staff took the initiative to receive guidance, check-in was efficient, and the service was warm and thoughtful. The rooms are warmly furnished, the facilities are all available, the beds are moderately soft and hard, the bathroom layout is simple and clean, the bath water is large, and the fatigue of the whole day is relaxed. The well-known chain brand mattresses used by the hotel are really good, and I sleep until dawn. There is a food street nearby, especially the local specialty snacks nearby, which tastes very special. The price is super high, completely exceeding expectations, and I will choose here for future travel!
