This was my second time staying at this hotel. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, always going above and beyond to meet guests' requests. Before check-in, they sent a self-made guide, and after checking in, they reminded me about the supper service. They even gave me a gift upon departure! Any issues that arose were promptly and proactively resolved. No hotel is perfect, but the thoughtful service at Novotel made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an.

Service: The front desk service was professional yet friendly, and the staff were very polite. Environment: The hotel's internal environment was very clean. Cleanliness: The bathroom was very new, with marble decor, clean, and no unpleasant odors. Facilities: The elevator was clean and convenient. Transportation: It's right outside Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Line 2, which is incredibly convenient. Across the street, there's the Qinfeng shuttle bus that connects to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, costing 30 RMB per person, including a guide – very convenient. Summary: The hotel is right outside Longshouyuan subway station, making it very easy to get to popular attractions like the Bell Tower and Xi'an City Wall. The room design is also clever, with a wet and dry separation in the bathroom, which is convenient for multiple people getting ready. The breakfast includes many local specialties, such as Biangbiang noodles and Saqqara noodles, allowing guests from out of town to better understand the city. It was a great experience! Thanks to Lucky for patiently answering our questions and providing assistance. Thank you 😊

The location is excellent, right near Xi'an's South Gate. You can see it as soon as you exit A2 of Yongning Gate subway station, making transportation very convenient. The hotel offers great views of the city wall at night. The breakfast in the morning was also very good. Historically, it was designed by Fujita, and the hotel's interior decor has a strong sense of design.

I can't believe I found a hotel in Xi'an with free airport pickup at this price! Communication was super smooth, and the driver was incredibly nice. The hotel itself is pretty standard, but it offers great value for money. The location is fantastic, right near the Muslim Quarter and an easy walk. It's also only a 5-minute walk to the Bell Tower, and there's even a bar street nearby if you want to explore at night.

Holiday Inn Express Xi-An Bell Tower is an epic stay!!! The entrance is located in the corner of a major street (more silent), the staff don’t speak great English, but they try their best to help you and your family! The rooms are grate, clean, modern, with frigobar and safe, desk with light, side table to lunch, lots of amenities, different pillow softness to chose, perfect size bathroom with TRESemmé products. Also the hotel offers welcome drink and basket of fruits, full time free bottles of water, in the reception and in the floors! The breakfast is perfect, lots of options, international and traditional options! The location is like steps from Bell Tower, next to the metro, central, perfect! You will love staying here!

Hotel is nicely located near Huiminjie @ Muslim Quater. Everything about the stay was pleasant except for the wifi. The connection was extremely slow. I needed to get some work done, and in the end my hotspot worked much better. Another issue was the centralised aircon system. During winter, it kept blowing warm air and the room felt quite suffocating. When I asked for help, the reception staff simply advised me to switch it off. Even with the aircon turned off, the room still felt stuffy. For those arriving by Didi, use the hotel’s main address from drop-off. If you use the “allocated” address shown in the app, the driver may drop you far from the actual hotel entrance and you’ll have to navigate the rest on your own. Overall, the stay was fine but these issues made it less comfortable than expected.

The room was great, very clean, and well-designed. It even came with a humidifier, which was a lifesaver in dry Xi'an. It helped a bit, though it seemed a bit old, and a stronger humidifying effect would have been even better. The rice noodles and wontons for breakfast were delicious! The chef made their own toppings and braised sauce, which tasted amazing. They also made their own spicy broth for the rice noodles, and the wontons were absolutely fantastic.

Choosing the right hotel for a trip to Xi'an is crucial, and the Renaissance Xi'an truly doubled my happiness! The location is absolutely perfect; it's a 10-minute walk to MixC World, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Getting to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda or the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City only takes about ten minutes by taxi, so commuting for sightseeing is a breeze. What truly impressed me was the hotel's design, which perfectly blends the charm of ancient Xi'an with modern style. The 3D tile wall in the lobby, inspired by Mount Hua, is visually striking. The industrial-style walls paired with artistic screens, along with custom furniture inspired by tangram puzzles, create a simple yet elegant look with thoughtful details. Every photo taken here looks like a high-quality magazine shot. And the service was impeccable! The Front Office Manager was exceptionally warm and professional. During check-in, they patiently introduced the hotel facilities and offered tips for exploring Xi'an, answering all my questions and even proactively upgrading my room. The entire process was efficient and considerate. All the front desk staff were gentle and attentive, and their thoughtful care made me feel truly welcome. The room itself was full of pleasant surprises. It was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the warm yellow lighting created a cozy atmosphere, making my stay incredibly comfortable. The complimentary pizza from the check-in package deserves a special mention – the crust was crispy, the toppings were generous, and the taste far exceeded my expectations. It was a delight to enjoy such delicious food! Whether it's the design, service, or location, the Renaissance Xi'an is simply perfect. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xi'an, and I've already recommended it to all my friends planning to go there!

This is an excellent hotel. The location is good, but since the city is large, you still need to travel by taxi. The main attractions in the city are close to the hotel. We booked a standard room, but received an upgraded option – a two-room suite on the 5th floor, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The room had a comfortable bed and high-quality bedding. A major drawback was the terrible view from the window. The view was of a dilapidated inner courtyard and a neighboring building, so it was impossible to open the curtains. The service was excellent. Despite the staff having some difficulties with English, it didn't hinder communication. The breakfast was excellent, everything was delicious and varied – mainly Chinese cuisine, but also European options. We were very satisfied with our choice of hotel.

Here's my take on the apartment I booked: 1. The apartment is in a separate building, not part of the main hotel. After checking in, you have to walk a bit to get to the apartment building. 2. The apartment's facilities are a bit dated, but they're still well-maintained. 3. The bedding and linens were quite comfortable. 4. My room faced the street, and city roadworks started at 3 AM – it was incredibly loud with very poor sound insulation. I called to request a room change. All the hassle meant I didn't get a good night's sleep. 5. Breakfast was plentiful, but there were a lot of guests. 6. The hotel's location is convenient, right across from Joy City and next to the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. It's a good place to stay for sightseeing.

Opened in 2012, the facilities are a bit old, the bedding is very average, but there are also highlights, smart toilet, smart gauze curtain, strong Chinese style and simple atmosphere. The service is very average, the concierge is also very poor and has no service awareness. There were some problems during the check-in process, but fortunately their manager (forgot to ask the name) solved them in time. They sent welcome fruits and breakfast. Thank you, but the front desk service really needs to be improved.

The environment is excellent, and the historic building boasts great character (though, understandably, the in-room facilities are not as modern). Breakfast was decent. The swimming pool and gym are shared with Sofitel, which is better than nothing. All the front desk staff were very friendly, proactively assisting with luggage, storing bags, and opening doors with a greeting. Outside the hotel window, there's a courtyard and water system featuring ginkgo, olive, walnut, and honey locust trees, perfect for a stroll. During my stay, I also visited the Chinese restaurant and the Legendary Lobby Bar. The coffee and sparkling water drinks were decent; people who prefer less sugar would particularly enjoy them.

This hotel in Xi'an is a real gem! It's quite clean and doesn't have any strange odors. The surrounding area is very convenient for food and drinks, and it's close to the subway and the Bell Tower. What's even better is that when we did a one-day tour, the drop-off point was nearby, so we didn't need to take another taxi. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, just like in a star-rated hotel. They greet guests proactively, which is something I really appreciate. Unfortunately, I didn't take many photos, but you can trust the official pictures – they're all real. I also noticed that the building across the street houses several hotels, but Campanile has its own lobby on the ground floor, which is great and offers complimentary tea. I hope they keep up the good work! The pillows are very comfortable, the shower has good water pressure, and the three-piece shower gel set smells lovely. You can even book tours and arrange airport transfers directly at the front desk.

Stepping into the Xi'an Huaqing Yutang Hotel felt like being instantly transported back to the glorious Tang Dynasty. The hotel is built into the hillside, seamlessly blending with the Huaqing Palace ruins. Its black bricks, grey tiles, and upturned eaves everywhere exude a rich Tang-dynasty charm. Upon check-in, staff dressed in traditional Tang attire offered warm welcoming tea, and their meticulous service made us feel truly valued. The guest rooms perfectly combine Tang culture with modern comfort. The antique-style furniture is elegant and exquisite, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. The most delightful surprise, however, was the private natural hot spring bath right in the room. Sourced from the ancient springs at the foot of Mount Li, the water is smooth and rich in various minerals. Enjoying this luxury in a private setting instantly washed away all travel fatigue. At night, gazing at the starry sky from the balcony and listening to the wind in the mountains, it felt as though I could hear echoes of history. The hotel's exclusive 'Jinghong Travel Photography' service was undoubtedly the highlight of this stay. From hair and makeup to clothing, a professional team meticulously created full Tang-style looks for us. The makeup artist's techniques were delicate, and both the hair accessories and makeup aimed to authentically recreate the splendor of the Tang Dynasty. Donning the gorgeous Tang-era Hanfu, we instantly transformed into characters from a painting. Our photographer was not only highly skilled but also deeply knowledgeable about the history and culture of Huaqing Palace. He guided us through pavilions, terraces, and hot spring pools, choosing the best lighting and angles to perfectly blend the beauty of Mount Li with our poses. Whether it was the languid charm of a concubine bathing or the classic elegance of gazing into the distance from a railing, each photo was like a beautiful ancient-style scroll, immortalizing our Tang Dynasty memories. The entire photoshoot was relaxed and enjoyable, and the results far exceeded our expectations. Summary: A dual feast for body, mind, and culture. The Xi'an Huaqing Yutang Hotel is not just a place to stay; it's an immersive cultural experience. It nourishes the body and mind with ancient hot springs, infuses the soul with the splendor of the Tang Dynasty, and then uses the 'Jinghong Travel Photography' to eternally capture these unique memories. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a hot spring lover, or a traveler seeking a unique experience, this is an unmissable and perfect choice for your Xi'an trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who yearns for the elegance of the Tang Dynasty!

As soon as we stepped into the lobby, the warm service from the front desk staff instantly washed away our travel fatigue. The room window opened to a cascading mountain view. In the evening, wrapped in a towel, we soaked in the hot springs, watching the sunset gradually change colors. The day's worries were completely washed away by the heat. The hot spring area was even more delightful: the herbal medicine pool exuded a subtle mugwort fragrance, leaving you feeling refreshed. The rose pool was filled with floating petals, creating a romantic photo filter. There was also a heated paddling pool designed specifically for children, perfect for families with children. Most thoughtfully, the staff were always available by the pool to offer hot towels and ginger tea, a touch of care hidden in every detail. The dining experience also didn't disappoint, with a rich breakfast buffet and convenient light meals for lunch and dinner. The front desk even gave us a souvenir upon departure, a warm touch that lasted from check-in to departure. If you're looking for a place to slow down and relax, this is the place to go. A comfortable older hotel on a human scale with a very pleasant ambience. It is my favourite hotel to stay in Xi'an. Pluses are the excellent breakfast choice, the professionalism of the staff, a refined choice of art on the walls, good beds and a fairly serene atmosphere with a lake with golden carp and buildings covered in ivy. The only real negative I could think of is that its not in the centre of Xi'an or by a major mall but there is a metro station directly outside with fast links to most places you would want to go. Also taxis are easy to get either at the hotel or at the main entrance. Considering the price Xi'an Jianguo is a really excellent choice for all types of travellers.

This Atour hotel turned out to be a great find. In truth it was booked accidentally due to a user error during location selection. It is conveniently located near to the Xi’an South Gate and good access to food. The room was clean with crisp linens and comfortable beds and pillows. Shower and bathroom facilities were great with ample hot water and powerful shower heads. The room was smoke free though we had to swap the first offering because the room had a lingering cigarette smoke smell. Typical for China, a non-smoking room is a just a suggestion to some clientele. There were occasional whiffs of smoke near the elevators. Breakfast had variety of tasty offerings that changed daily. Coffee was good. Tea service could be improved with hotter water the implementation of tea pots with tea strainers. Laundry room was excellent. Lots of space and the staff helps to keep the flow of laundry moving. The dryers are a bit slow. They usually require about 1:45 to completely dry a full load. The general layout of the hotel is quite nice with some modern touches. Couple transportation items to note. Location of hotel may be noisy because of night time entertainment in front of the hotel. The hotel is between subway stops but closer to a bus stop.

The hotel's entrance signage was unclear, and I almost went to the wrong door, as there are three hotels within the same complex. I'm not sure if it was due to a slight delay in check-in, but the front desk upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, the room was pretty well-maintained, though it had a couple of minor flaws: the bathroom door didn't close tightly, and there was a noticeable dent on the floor. The service was enthusiastic, but their efficiency and execution could be improved. The dinner at the Italian restaurant was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the egg white omelet and black sesame paste for breakfast, both of which I haven't seen offered at other hotels. The complimentary fruit in the room wasn't of great quality; the pepino melon, for instance, was unripe. The TWG tea and bottled mountain spring water in the room, however, were fitting for a hotel of this caliber. The hotel also boasts a beautiful garden at the back. I really liked the room. Before arriving, I tried to ask the front desk on Trip.com if I could get an upgrade, but they refused. When I got there, I saw that Trip.com still had twin rooms available and asked if I could upgrade, but they told me I'd have to pay the difference to upgrade to a king room, which were all sold out anyway. As the saying goes, 'misfortune may be a blessing in disguise,' and this twin room on the 26th floor, 2612, was a bit tucked away but overall very good. The consistent design and symmetrical beds reflected traditional Chinese aesthetics. Although the sofa area wasn't large, the location was great, and it had a definite wet/dry separation. The next morning, I went for breakfast. The hostess quickly found a seat for me, and plates were cleared promptly during the meal. The service was excellent, though I was too busy to catch her name; she just looked plump and cheerful. Around 11 AM, I went to the swimming pool and met Cheng Xue'er from the gym. She was incredibly polite and courteous, and after my swim, she gave me a bag for my swimsuit. At first, I thought she was an intern, but she's actually a fitness coach – don't be 'charmed' by her beautiful, petite, and cute appearance like I was! Afterward, I had lunch at the Chinese restaurant. I had made a reservation, and they held the table for me. I'd seen reviews on other apps praising their service, and it truly lived up to expectations. From the manager to the front desk and service staff, everyone exuded professionalism. The room was beautifully designed in warm colors and there was plenty of seating area--including a cute little tatami sitting area. The windows were floor-to-ceiling, with automatic curtains that move with a slight tug. The staff were very friendly. The view outside the window is an interesting picture of the city wall, but it wasn't very pretty--just the brick wall and little bit of the events on the top. The beds were too firm for me, but I'm used to softer beds. My friend said it was fine for her though. Despite how beautiful the room is, I would not stay there again. The temperature in the room would not go below 29c, even with the air conditioner turned on. When asked if they could come fix the A/C, the staff said this room was more ”natural” and people don't really use it, so there wasn't anything they could do. We had to open the windows to keep cool. Additionally, the air conditioner was so loud that when I first heard it, I thought someone was rolling a cart down the cobblestones outside the hotel window. It was almost as loud as the construction happening directly outside our window. Speaking of the construction, it didn't start until 7 or 8 pm at night and went through until 3-4am. Couldn’t close the window without turning the room into a hotbox, so it was extremely noisy between the sounds of the machinery and the workers shouting over it. I'm a light sleeper, so it was nearly impossible to sleep. Between the heat, the noise from the air conditioner, and the noise from the construction, I got almost no sleep during my three day stay. So it's a lovely hotel, but it's too noisy and uncomfortable.
