A very well organised place, clean and many unique animals which we never seen in other countries. The tram service is good, easy to get on in every 10-15 mins. There are many F&B outlets including a Food Republic food court near the entrance.

This is a long-standing five-star hotel in Singapore. I stayed here for eight nights this time. It's my top choice for business and family trips to Singapore, offering great value for money. **Excellent Location** The location is superb. Right opposite the hotel exit is an MRT station. Although it's not a major line, it's convenient to get anywhere with a quick transfer. Within five or six minutes' walk, there's a large shopping center, The Great World, which has plenty of dining, shopping, and local specialty food options. The surrounding area is also a hub for tourist attractions, easily reachable by taxi or a few MRT stops. **Hotel Design** Given its five-star heritage and recent renovation, the rooms and hotel interior are very new and spacious. I was particularly impressed by the in-room coffee machine and water dispenser. Enjoying a rich cup of coffee while getting ready in the morning [smiley emoji] is a lovely touch. **Hotel Facilities** The swimming pool, gym, conference rooms, and restaurants are all well-equipped. **Service** I didn't get much chance to experience the service as I came back late and was out all day. My only minor complaint is the poor soundproofing. Perhaps it was because I was next to a door that seemed to lead nowhere, and the opening/closing sounds were loud. I could also hear cleaning staff making noise in the mornings. However, the front desk handled it very well, and they were much more careful afterward.

Traveling to Singapore with a 10-year-old. We stayed here for two nights, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The doorman was incredibly enthusiastic; I have to give him huge props for that! The front desk staff also spoke Chinese, so the check-in process was very smooth. The key card for the elevator wasn't always responsive, but other guests on the elevator were very proactive in helping out. Everyone we met was so nice. We stayed on the 11th floor. When we opened the curtains, we were greeted with lush greenery, which was absolutely delightful. Taking photos by the window turned out great. My child had a blast at the hotel's infinity pool. It wasn't crowded when we went around 5 or 6 PM. We booked breakfast for one day, and I must say, the breakfast was a bit... underwhelming. The location is convenient, close to Chinatown and the MRT station, making it easy to get anywhere.

Staying at GPCH was such a wonderful experience! Here are some of the moments worth mentioning. I enjoyed using the bathtub. It was clean (no water spots or dust), easy to fill, and I love the deep curve shape that it had. It is one of the better-shaped bathtubs that I’ve seen. Loving the Appelles toiletries. They smelled good and always remind me of Australia and their lovely range of eco-friendly bathroom products such as Aesop, Ideology, Le Labo, and Appelles. It’s great that quite a number of hotels use these products. Bathrobe was comfy too! Water pressure from the shower was fine for me, despite what some reviews may say of how it constantly changes. It didn't for me. I love the iconic fleur-de-lis pattern of the bathroom/room flooring (also seen at other parts of the hotel), and optional see-through bathroom to bedroom view that makes it so easily recognisable when you see them on socials. Optional being, you can draw the automated blinds if need be. The iconic design of the flooring, to me also feels very classy and gives it a very English, almost Jane Austen, aristocratic feel. Touch control panel for lighting/ac in the room was easy to use. Though perhaps I do wish there was a way to reduce the ac to below 20. Throughout my stay, it only fell to 19.6 once before constantly rising to 20-21 degrees. It definitely felt hotter than that. Room, furnishings and amenities (such as the fridge, kettle, water machine) were very clean, not dusty, and also didn’t look as weathered despite its age. I did however find an unused disposable eye drop under the bed as I was making it, perhaps dropped by a previous guest. Pillows provided were alright for me too, and I didn’t require any from changes from the plethora of pillows on offer on their pillow menu. I am also glad that the hotel did not have one of those decorative cushions that no one actually uses, so there was no need to put those aside. I enjoyed the crystal club privileges very much! Level 9 was very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was absolutely lovely! The muffins that came with the eggs benedict were so melt-in-your-mouth soft, I can never look at another muffin the same way again. I will dream about those muffins forever! Also love their range of cheeses (blue, camembert, brie) which was there almost throughout the day. Cheese is life! The alcohol range for their evening cocktail was alright too, allowing us to make either a gin and tonic, rum with coke, or have drinks neat like a vodka neat. Pool at Level 4 was great! It’s not often that a pool has a nice view, and sometimes not even some of the 5-star hotels have a good pool view. But GPCH does! The pool overlooks the temple-like roof Chinese Chamber of Commerce building, which gives it rather quaint, tranquil and iconic look. An unmatched view so to speak, accentuated by the hotel’s luscious flora and nature decor. A Shangri-La sort of feel! I love it! Roof top of the hotel offered a nice view of Esplanade and MBS, which was nice, though I still feel the pool is a nicer place to chill at! The staff of GPCH are super friendly and I am forever grateful for their hospitality! From the housekeeping team, to the very attentive and friendly folks at Level 9 lounge. Check in and check out was a breeze too! It was nice to finally stay at GPCH albeit for only night, having only recced the rooms or sat at the lobby before, due to work. It is understandable why it’s been used by many artist management for their groups and bands. Each stay feels like you’ve entered in a private club. Beautifully quiet. The hotel is dignified and polished in a way that makes it a comfortable stay that you will remember in the long run. It does not stand out loudly among its neighbours, but it is in its hidden aspects where you find its gems. Where the words more is less and less is more, this rings especially true for GPCH. Its quiet, introspective detail to human needs is what makes them shine! Thank you Jeane, Audrey and team fo

The location is excellent! It's a 5-minute walk to the Merlion and also a 5-minute walk to the MRT station. The staff outside are very enthusiastic about helping with taxis, and I didn't feel any discrimination based on skin color at all. The hotel itself is a tourist attraction in Singapore. The rooms are spacious, and the price is quite reasonable compared to similar hotels. There's a wide variety of breakfast options, and dining outdoors (though it can be a bit hot) offers absolutely stunning views. We were given a S$100 voucher but unfortunately didn't get to use it due to time constraints. Overall, our two-night stay was a great experience!

The hotel isn't too far from two subway stations. However, if it's your first time staying, be sure to note that the pick-up/drop-off point for taxis is on the second floor. I stayed at Lyf Funan Singapore for 2nights as a business traveller. The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends. The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel. Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead. Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park. Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.

”The hotel is right in the city center with very convenient transport—it's located just outside Tanjong Pagar MRT station. While the rooms aren't huge, they are clean and tidy. I stayed at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay during a solo business trip to Singapore, mainly because I had meetings near Marina Bay Sands. The hotel checked many boxes for me, especially its convenient location, Halal certified breakfast buffet and walking distance access to train stations. The reception area on Level 4 immediately left a strong impression. The interior is beautiful and filled with greenery, somewhat reminding me of Gardens by the Bay. It feels modern, relaxing and very photogenic / Instagrammable at the same time. I appreciated the convenience of online check in and check out. During check in, I was assisted by Yarik, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. He thoughtfully gave me a room facing Marina Bay Sands, which I truly appreciated. Thank you again, Yarik. The room itself was spacious for a solo traveller. Everything was very clean, and I really enjoyed the bathtub and toiletries provided. Another thing I loved was the coffee selection in the room. There were different coffee strengths available, from mild to very strong, which was perfect for someone like me who enjoys coffee a lot. I visited the hotel gym as well. It is not huge, but good enough for a basic workout. Since I am an Anytime Fitness (AF) member, I also walked to the nearby Suntec City AF branch, which was very convenient from the hotel. The location is excellent. Promenade MRT Station and Esplanade MRT Station are both within about five minutes’ walk, and the Merlion Park area is nearby too, making it easy for me to go jogging. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices. I especially loved the blended juice with ginger and cinnamon. On checkout day, although my late checkout request was initially declined by Lydia at the reception counter because the hotel was full, the team later managed to accommodate my request after I explained my situation. Thanks as well to Yi Quan for assisting during checkout. Overall, this hotel was amazing. I genuinely enjoyed the stay, especially the thoughtful service and the Halal certified breakfast buffet.

The team was very accommodating and kindly allowed us to check in early after we disembarked from our Disney Cruise, which made our arrival so much smoother and more comfortable. The room was spacious, well maintained, and equipped with full amenities, including filtered water, which was a thoughtful touch. Although our room was on Level 12, we still had a lovely view of Marina Bay Sands. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay with excellent service. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would be happy to return again.

Sentosa Island Singapore|4.92km from downtown
I was impressed from start to finish with my Siloso Beach Resort experience. I arrived at Vivo City Harbourfront Station by train, suitcase in hand and was directed to the Sentosa Monorail on the top floor. There is a kiosk where I received my complimentary rail pass to Beach Ststion (last stop). Behind the train station is a free shuttle service which dropped me directly outside the Resort. Up to level 8 to complete my check-in which was conducted smoothly by the friendly desk team. They provided clear instructions for the ongoing use of monorail on the island and the free shuttle services around the island attractions. I received a cool upgrade and proceeded to my room which was clean and then refreshed each day. The location opposite the beach and a 7 minute walk to the train station which is surrounded by food outlets and stores to cater for your convenience. The team at Siloso Beach Resort enjoy their work and were always eager to assist with any enquiries, provision of umbrella or any guidance with onsite matters. The pool was fabulous with waterfall and slide for kids of all sizes. The place was quiet and well presented. I will be visiting again in the future.
