We enjoyed a three-night stay, finding the location to be quite lovely. The hotel was beautiful, and its amazing location was convenient to a lively mall just a minute's walk away. our room was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. We didn't expect it but also we enjoy breathtaking sunsets.

Honestly, we had the best time at Funny Lion Resort! From the start, everything felt top-notch. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, always ready to help and just really made us feel welcome. There were so many complimentary perks too, which was such a nice surprise. It felt like they really went above and beyond to make the stay special. What I loved the most is that the resort pretty much has everything you need—you seriously don’t have to leave. There are activities, great restaurants, a cozy coffee bar, and more all right there. We didn’t even feel the need to go out and explore because everything we wanted was already in the resort. The whole place has a super relaxing vibe, perfect for just chilling and enjoying the moment. It was such a good escape from the usual busy life. Would 100% go back—and probably will, again and again. Can’t recommend it enough!

I had a lovely stay at Best Western Plus The Ivywall Hotel - Palawan. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure every guest felt at home. Their hospitality truly made the experience special. The location is excellent, 10 minute walk SM Mall, which is perfect for shopping, dining, currency exchange and even picking up essentials like a Globe SIM card for easy connectivity. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the convenience of having everything close by is a huge plus. The hotel itself is well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that offer a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The amenities, including free Wi-Fi and great dining options, add to the overall experience.

The experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesn’t run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there.  The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and it’s truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasn’t a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)

Hotel is surprisingly great for its price! With just some few bucks to add vs the usual lodge/backpacker rates, you will get far superior amenities, room size and service as a whole. The hotel owner is the same with Zuri Resort by the bay, and the adjacent Westown Lagoon. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Hotel facade, pool and bar and restaraunt are also great. They got three or four pools. The rooms are okay, not as pleasant as the hotel facade but still are in good condition and still comfortable. The only downside would be the location, its 5-6km away from the town proper - will take around 10mins via tuktuk/tricyle. Bfast buffet is just okay. Not a lot of choices but still good. Overall, still a good experience for the price.

White Breeze was a great stay, the staff were lovely and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile :) Breakfast was worth the extra few pounds and it also provides free filtered water. However the location was quite remote but they can call a tricycle for you which is roughly 150 pesos to get to the centre.

The view from the window overlooking the bay is breathtaking—definitely avoid rooms with a different view! The staff is fantastic, especially the reception team: incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Big thanks to them for that! The restaurant service is good, but the food was underwhelming—breakfasts were quite basic. Only a few dishes on the menu were tasty; the rest need improvement. They should really revamp their offerings. The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does an excellent job. The pool looks beautiful and well-maintained, but there’s an issue with unpleasant odors from the port, which sometimes makes swimming less appealing. The gym is poorly equipped—it could use more machines or at least an Olympic bar.

While the villa is located in Puerto Princesa city (not near far-flung attractions like the Underground River or Honda Bay), the hotel made exploring easy by offering convenient tours to these must-see spots - from city tours to island-hopping adventures, ensuring that we can experience the best of Palawan without the stress of planning. Their recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems were also spot-on! What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond—always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay feel extra special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-appointed retreat with outstanding service and easy access to tours (even to faraway attractions!), Carpe Diem Villas is the perfect choice.

A wonderful place to stop. We had a cozy, spacious bungalow with a small terrace. The only thing missing was a refrigerator, but this did not affect the overall impression. We arrived around 2 am, they waited for us and checked us in, despite the fact that check-in was until 10:30 pm. Well-groomed territory, stunning garden of plants. The hotel has a spa and good massage. Convenient location - a little away from the bustle, has its own beach. There are hotels nearby without a beach with a paved promenade. We took diving elsewhere, since everything was booked at the hotel. We had a room without breakfast. You can take it and pay on the spot. We had breakfast in different places, all within a 5-minute walking distance. In search of dinner, we went to several places, and in the end it turned out that this hotel had the most delicious food. Very nice hotel, just 5 min away from town if you take a ride. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good shower, always hot water, strong AC, lovely pool that you can use until 10 pm. Pool towels also provided. Lots of useful things like toothbrush set, comb, shaver set etc. provided. Mini Bar with some cold drinks - to pay on top but is good to have if you need something asap. The only thing I would not recommend was the restaurant, I didn't really like the food and we were waiting around 1 hour for it to arrive. It was quite pricey as most of the things were described as ”to share”. My partner likes to eat different things so I didn't really like the concept of that menu.
