Simple hotel, yet clean. Staff are very helpful. Location is easy walk from the train station through the shopping mall, but it is not exactly near the center of attractions. Breakfast is simple but very nice (really love their croissants). Appreciate the breakfast pack given by the hotel for us also; since our train to Bergen is very early in the morning đ

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and engaging. Breakfast was also very good, quite generous for European standards. You might want to try the liquid fish oil, but be warned, it's a bit fishy â I decided not to buy it after tasting. The hotel is super close to the train station, just a short walk away. I also appreciated the secure elevator system; you need to swipe your card on the ground floor before you can select your floor. They even upgraded my room to one with a sea view! I'm extremely satisfied.

9.0 The city center is very close and very convenient. All the attractions are within walking distance. The breakfast is very rich. I feel very satisfied. The scenery outside the window is very good. The security is also very good. I will continue to this next time.
The hotel is very comfortable
Location is also close to the city center
Good sanitary conditions
The only thing is that the check-in time is a bit late (after 3 pm)
The interior of the room is very relaxing and comfortable

Very practical and central location with easy access to trains, parks, and places to visit in Oslo. The room was beautifully decorated with a kitchenette.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options and great quality of produce.
There were a couple of old stains on the bench in front of the bed and something like ink on the bed sheet. But the room was overall clean.

I had a fantastic time at Clarion Hotel: The Hub in Oslo. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. I was on the 12th floor and navigating around the hotel was easy. Everything from check-in, to using facilities, to getting around the city was made better by staying here. The hotel has a small pool, two gym areas, and two saunas on the basement floor which were all great to use. The facilities were clean and modern. Even though the facilities are on the smaller side, it was never too busy that you couldn't use them. I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced. The food is SO good and I'm so grateful that there were options for both meat eaters and vegans too. Overall a 10/10 experience.
For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit.
My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very⌠odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, âoh, thatâs ok. We canât use email anywayâ. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in.
Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadnât received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadnât received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadnât received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go.
We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadnât checked in and they donât have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel.
I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!
The location is relatively remote and not very downtown, but the air around it is very good. There is a subway just a short walk out of the city, so it's OK. The only thing is that the room is a bit dark, but you can open the window for fresh air and it feels pretty good.

The hotel is located in the centre of the old city, just a few minutes from Oslo Central Station and only about three minutes from the Oslo Opera House, making it very convenient for visitors. I booked for three people, and we were given a spacious and lovely family room consisting of two separate rooms. The included breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The dinner included was a light dinner. The whole day free coffee and the afternoon snack were very thoughtful. The only downside was that the bathroom felt a bit dated, but hopefully the ongoing renovations will address this.

Location is convenient, about 10 mins walk from Oslo S. although it is in the direction nearer to the office buildings and away from the attractions.
Breakfast spread is amazing and tastes good. Room and bathroom are spacious, bed is soft and comfortable.
The only drawback is the amenities. There is no toothbrush provided, and I find the shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash a little too mild / diluted, would have preferred it to be thicker and foamier. Body soap is ok.

GGuest UserNot a good experience at Numa Hallen. NOT RECOMMENDED. Rooms are big, clean and quiet. However, the âhotelâ is not supported by any staff.
The digital check in failed initially. We did not receive the check in email as advised. Maybe if you book directly with Numa, not a third party like Trip, this might work. Donât know. We rang the web site and Trip advertised phone number to get a check in email. It is disconnected. This defect is recorded in previous reviews, Does anyone read these complaints?
Read the previous reviews and noted the WhatsAPP number to be found at door front. Was ready for this we thought. The WhatsAPP number only has a virtual attendant. So no verbal communication available only short text messages readable. Jumped through many hoops and eventually received our check in details on the kerb outside the hotel. Thought we would be sleeping on the street for a while.
Once inside we noted the big sign in kitchen about leaving a window open when cooking. Next morning all fire alarms in the hotel section went off. A closed window somewhere perhaps. Alarm couldnât be shut off so we evacuated with our bags like many others. Guess it must happen often due to the prominence of the sign.
The experience wasnât good and is a great example of technology making life more difficult. The quest to remove people from hospitality jobs diminishes the hospitality aspect. It also leaves no backup except for meaningless, valueless, unaccountable apologies.
The communications failures and fire alarm intrusion are significant infrastructure short comings.
Wouldnât stay there again.

GGuest UserFirst of all, my baby and I brought 3 pieces of luggage, and the receptionist didn't seem to want to help at all. When I checked out, I met a very good receptionist, who was very nice and enthusiastic. The hotel is in a good location and has a high cost-effectiveness. This price is much more comfortable than living in Japan.
DDhiraj KuwarâAbsolutely fantastic experience! The hotel exceeded all our expectations with its exceptional service, immaculate rooms, and top-notch amenities. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. A perfect 5/5 â we can't wait to return!â

GGuest UserThis is an exceptional hotel for quality and service. We were able to check in early to a spacious room with all the extras, hair dryer, mini bar, snacks, iron facilities and drinks tray. Great comfy beds and bathroom facilities.
The car park is underground accessible from the rear of the hotel and is secure with a lift to directly within the hotel
The breakfast is vast and great quality with the chefs regularly doing quality control of the food and dining staff efficiently clearing tables.
We ate in the restaurant and it was good quality. I must mention the young man who served us as his customer service was exceptional not to mention his cocktail mixing skills! Nothing was too much trouble.
The reception staff were really helpful in helping us with the public transport and although the hotel is located on the perimeter of the city both tram and bus stops were located within minutes of the hotel and weâre easy to navigate with the routers app.
All the staff we came into contact with were both helpful and professional and were all good ambassadors for the hotel group.
I would not hesitate in a heart beat to recommend this hotel, thank you for the service.
GGuest UserThe hotel location was ideal and not far from oslo city centre with a metro station across the road and several bus stops very nearby.
Most of the staff were very helpful however there was one gentleman who appeared to assist but then no result to his said actions.
Additionally the first room he provided he stated would have view. The view was of the hotel from the window. The room he provided was unclean and filthy. We requested a change to our room with his colleague. She was very helpful and gave us a great room very clean room with a view of the river, but only thing is we had no phone in the room. We requested one but was told one would not available until later on the week. This was not beneficial as we were leaving.
The amenities were ok however the hotel had direct access to mini shopping mall which had some lovely coffee shops and general convenience stores, which was great. Therefore we did not eat at the hotel.
Overall apart from the above issues it was a pleasant stay and we extended it by a day which was a smooth process and we was able to stay in the same second room.
AAnonymous UserDefinitely a busier part of town but we enjoyed being in the middle of it. Could see and hear the water fountains in the park from window. There is a little second level perch/balcony which was amazing to sit at during the evening sun while sipping some of the delicious white wine provided by hotel. Easy walk to the train stations and overall great location for walking to all of the places we wanted to go to. Beds were very comfortable and we had excellent sleep! Morning breakfast was amazing and had a very nice ambiance! I canât believe the fresh juice station and health shotsâŚAmerica needs to step up the game as far as hotel breakfasts.
