The hotel location beside the river is good. The room have been updated but the 2 key things to further upgrade is the TV (too small) and the air conditioning efficieny as it takes so long to feel cold in the room. The breakfast is definitely the highlight of our stay as it brings back nostalgia and good authentic food with vast choices. The swimming pool is also good for the kids and for adults, we enjoyed the pool. The riverfront are with choices of simple cafe and restaurants that open in the evening.

The hotel located at Ipoh central area. Just 5 to 10 min drive to famous Palo 101, chicken rice and others attractions located at downtown Ipoh. The hotel are well maintained and provided few free facilities for hotel guess such as swimming pool and Gym room. Beside that, there is one very good cafe located at hotel lobby which can for us to relax after dinner. They also provide free parking for hotel guess at basement.

Best location in the centre of town. All the famous eateries are in the area, Ipoh Parade mall literally across the road. Greentown at the back. Hotel itself was the old Syuen refurbished, great job at that. Almost spanking brand new. You'll appreciate how clean and new the rooms are. Free coffee in the lobby. Great service around the clock. Huge pool. This'll be our top choice in Ipoh for awhile from now on. One unfortunate letdown was a loss of power at 2am on my floor and a couple of rooms on our stretch all had to change rooms in the middle of the night, however assistance was great and quick. We'll put it down as an opening glitch.

In the city and very near to lake Taiping. Next to the mall very convinient just that parking need go to lv 5. Overall a good hotel with fair price

This is the place where i felt safe when i go to Ipoh. As usually the front office always excellent, no deposit because i already settle the payment before, but have to pay 2 night tourism tax cost rm6. As enter the spacious room with king size bed, the linen was comfy and clean. Also got bath tub and rain shower. But i realise the ventilation fan not working. Lotion, syampoo and shower gel attached to the wall. No tooth brush. 2 free water bottle per day. Got iron and iron board, the wardrobe was big. Got hair dryer and refrigerator. I also order the room service which it cost me rm17 nett. Beef lasagna with salad, desert and free drink. Not bad. Will come again to this hotel if i come to Ipoh.😁

The hotel is strategically located, just a 10-minute drive to Ipoh city center, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who immediately made us feel at home. To our delight, we were also offered complimentary afternoon tea and light snacks - a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. The room was impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The toilet was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, which is always a big plus. Breakfast at the hotel was simple but delicious, featuring fresh and satisfying options to start the day right. One lovely surprise was finding a personalized note in my room after check-in. The management had left a greeting wishing me a Merry Christmas. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made me feel so warm and happy. Small touches like this truly set this hotel apart. Within walking distance, we found a Chinese restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and even a bar and bistro, offering a variety of dining choices to suit different tastes. Stayed here for 5 nights. Wifi in room totally do not exist. Have to go to the lobby for wifi. Was told that they having wifi problems. Can log in but no internet. Very basic hotel facilities. Stay here if you are taking advantage of the location.

After stay only we realise this is a malay hotel and very old hotel. i cannot say its bad because the staff is nice and friendly. Just what we feel the family room we booked it's not that new or modern design.. it can feel it's totally malay style and also the location is not near town area because we take cab to town need at least 25 minutes to reach.

We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. The location was incredibly convenient, and easy access to call Grab service.The apartment itself was spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable furnishings and all the necessary amenities. We'll definitely be back again in the future. Thank you as my family has a for a great stay in this apartment!

Located in front of the most famous Taiping Lake. Owns basement parking but with no lift to the lobby. Nice spread of breakfast. Nasi lemak was good. My third visit :)

Super nice boutique house. Our diamond suite come with private pool. Very spacious room. Nearby to zoo/safari taiping
