It exceeded expectations for a budget hotel. Staff interaction was always friendly. The room was clean. It was odd that there was no refrigerator in the room. Our large bed was simply two single beds pushed together. There was no attempt to bridge the gap between the beds with some sort of connector. Linens were clean and nice with no strong detergent smell. Will definitely stay here again when I come visit my son at the nearby university.

The organization of the breakfast buffet takes some getting used to (at 9:30 AM, there were no boiled eggs, and only one 250g stick of butter for the entire buffet, placed on the cheese board). The cutlery containers on the tables should be stocked so that guests don't have to fetch their needed cutlery from an adjacent table, which then leaves others short. Despite these points, the hotel is definitely recommended. We'd happily come back.

The hotel's location is decent, about a 10-minute bus ride on line 1 to Weimar city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, which is quite convenient if you check the bus schedule on Google Maps. However, the hotel service was quite mediocre. I booked the most basic room type for the weekend, located on the second floor. Aside from towels and toiletries, there were no bathrobes. This basic room didn't even have a mini-fridge. I recommend bringing your own bathrobe if you plan to use the pool on the first floor. The hotel facilities are a bit dated; Chinese travelers, who might be used to newer hotels, should manage their expectations in advance. Also, a minor complaint: about half an hour before checkout on the second day (around 11:30 AM), a housekeeping staff member opened the door directly without knocking or any warning. We just stared at each other, and the staff member mumbled ”Entschuldigung” and left. I probably won't be staying at this place again, so I didn't bother mentioning it to the front desk.

Stylish City Hotel with a Feel-Good Vibe The NYX Hotel Erfurt completely won me over. The location is excellent – central, easily accessible, and perfect for exploring the old town and attractions. I particularly loved the modern, creative design with its urban flair, which gives the hotel a unique character. The rooms were clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Cozy beds, a quiet atmosphere, and thoughtful details ensure a pleasant stay. The bathroom was also modern and well-maintained. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful – you immediately feel welcome. The breakfast offers a good selection and is high-quality, so there's something for everyone.

Very nice hotel. Located next to shopping mall and in the middle of the city. We were staying on the 8th floor. The room was so quiet and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is a little far away from downtown Weimar, but there is a bus at the door, and there is convenient ground parking for self-driving. The hotel is a bit old, but it has a balcony and you can see the lush forest. There is no hotel breakfast this time because there are too many delicious restaurants in the small town of Weimar. Weimar is really great, not too noisy, highly recommended The front desk service of the hotel is super patient and friendly. The swimming pool is also highly recommended. The hotel is very cost-effective. Also, the local potato balls are the best I have ever tasted in Germany, and the fresh mushrooms in the forest are invincible.

Hotel location is good, there are shops around, in an old town, the cartoon protagonist originated in this town, there are many western restaurants nearby, the hotel's breakfast dining area is limited, the front desk will ask for a morning meal.

It was a very good hotel 🙆 Breakfast was really delicious except that the underground parking lot was hard to get in and out I'm very satisfied.

The room was very good and new, with towels and no toothbrush and toothpaste. The first floor is the restaurant. There is nothing to eat for breakfast, and there are a few slices of bread with jam and fruit.
