微风路过雨蒙蒙Extremely satisfied with my stay! I arrived early and they kindly allowed a free early check-in. The laundry facilities, environment, and cleanliness were all excellent. The lobby is also very spacious. It's a convenient 15-minute taxi ride (about 12 RMB) to Haida South Gate Night Market and Qilou Old Street.

Guest UserThis is a four-star hotel, and admittedly, some of the facilities are a bit old. When I arrived in Haikou, it had just rained, and there was a musty smell in the room and corridors, which was a bit off-putting. However, everything else was quite good. What stood out was that the shower water was natural hot spring water, and you could even enjoy the hot springs from 2 PM to 10 PM daily. For a room rate of just over 100 RMB, it's truly excellent value for money. Plus, the hotel is located right in the old town, full of local charm and a lively atmosphere. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Haikou.

Guest UserThe room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was excellent and varied, offering fruits, bread, hot dishes, and even freshly cooked items. The room also came with complimentary drinks, and you could pick up free coffee at the front desk. They even provided late-night snacks! But what truly stood out was the service. The front desk staff were not only beautiful but also had lovely voices, making every interaction a pleasure.

BriandebeiMy friends and I stayed for five days, and it exceeded our expectations overall! The cleaning was incredibly thorough, every corner was spotless. The villa's environment was serene, with a stunning mountain view, and the private hot tub was perfect for photos. The three bedrooms and one living room offered ample space, and it was fully equipped with appliances and kitchenware, making it convenient for both travel and daily living. The butler was very responsive, and the service was warm and attentive. It's excellent value for money, highly recommended for groups traveling together!

Front desk not really helpful. Just want you to go as it was the whole time ”OK, OK...” and ”I'll take you to your room”...
But no help with luggage, nor an answer if the kitchen would have something for me to eat... I sent my list of allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, honey and soy) to the hotel's wechat the evening so that they could give it to the kitchen...
First room:
The fridge was not cold.
Bathroom floor wet and entrance floor dirty 😰
The manager came and was friendly and helpful. He helped me with my luggage to another room 8505, which was larger.
Here the fridge was also not really making cold and switched off when going out. They couldn't give an extra card for electricity.
In the morning the manager showed me the different food at the buffet that I could eat, but I never received the pork etc, he promised the previous evening, for breakfast nor answered my message when I asked if I should wait for it...
For breakfast I could eat the fruit and in a steam basket a piece of corn-on-the-cob, sweet potato, yam and taro. They also had corn flakes.
Interesting they had 3 milk options: cow milk, soy milk and coconut milk...
The second evening I spent an hour on Wechat with reception to find out if the kitchen could prepare something for me with my allergies - I did give it the previous evening.... Then I went for a walk on the beach... When I came back, they hadn't prepared the fish! The manager gave me a coconut with a straw to drink the juice...
So I only wasted my time to find out if they could prepare something - I did give them my list in Chinese of what I cannot eat...😰 Luckily I always have some food with me...
The fish tanks are outside the dining room so you can choose your fish fresh.... As in most places in China 😊
Swimming pool was empty.
Good comfortable beds.
Down duvets.
Nice spacious room with little balcony, but balcony has a concrete wall, not glass to see through...
From the premises you go directly onto the beach!
Very nice quiet environment away from the crowds! After the fireworks at 21:00 the outside lights were switched off and then you only hear the sea...
If you do not have transport, it is a bit far, but if you want to go and rest for a few days, away from crowds, then this is a good place 😎🤠🌻🏝️🏖️
Thete are charging facilities for electric cars...

Guest UserSolo trip to Sanya, staying at Sumi to unwind in a white house by the sea🌊
The joy of escaping to Sanya alone is amplified at Sumi Guesthouse. It's a whole building with a pure white cave-style arched balcony, a natural frame for photos. No need for a professional photographer, just casual snaps turn out great.
No need to rush to attractions, I spent the whole day lounging on the rooftop, gazing at the sea. Dressed in a comfortable camisole and shorts, I enjoyed the sea breeze in my flip-flops. The distant sea, the light blue sky, and the heart-shaped chair create an atmospheric scene with a built-in filter.
No need to compromise on anyone's itinerary. Wake up to the sea, lie down in the room when tired. A solo seaside vacation, quiet and free. All bad moods are smoothed away by this ocean.

Guest UserThe hotel is new and conveniently located near Qilou Old Street. The service was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, and the vinegar soup was delicious. I'd definitely stay here again next time. We arrived around 3 PM and there were still parking spots available. Very good overall.

ErchuanzaiaoyouI was initially worried after seeing so many negative reviews, but it turns out my concerns were completely unfounded! I highly recommend staying here!
Service: They upgraded my room upon check-in, and I could watch planes take off right from my window – a truly unique experience. As for airplane noise, I didn't notice any at all.
Dining is also very convenient; you can directly access the mini-outlet mall through the hotel's private passage. We ate very well for around 50 per person.
Getting to the airport is also a breeze. We were going to T2, and the hotel shuttle took us directly there in just 5 minutes from downstairs.
The gym wasn't crowded, and the facilities looked quite new. There seems to be a laundry room on every floor, which is very convenient.

Guest UserWe took our kids on a summer road trip along the eastern coast of Hainan. Besides the beautiful beaches, we also wanted them to learn about local culture and history, so our first stop was Haikou. We chose Meilun based on our trust in Huazhu's comfortable hotel chain. We did some research and read reviews beforehand, and after checking in, we felt we made the right choice. Firstly, the location is excellent; we just had to walk through a park to reach the Old Qilou Street, where we enjoyed authentic 'Qingbuliang' that very evening. Secondly, the hygiene met our expectations. Although the building is a bit old, the cleanliness was still well above standard. I didn't take any photos of the hotel, so I've used pictures from near the Old Street instead.
