During our trip to Zhangye, we chose the Hanting Premium Hotel based on its reputation. However, my husband suddenly developed acute gastroenteritis while we were there. What I expected to be an anxious and helpless experience turned into an incredibly precious and heartwarming one. Our attendant, Tian Li, immediately accompanied us to the clinic, meticulously took care of ordering our meals, and even personally prepared and delivered congee and fish soup, which deeply moved us. Tian Li and Zhu Jing then helped us cancel our train tickets and rebook our return flights, ensuring we had no further worries. Meanwhile, the restaurant staff's warm concern made us feel truly cared for; every meal was filled with warmth. The cleaning lady was also incredibly thoughtful and thorough, tidying up our room multiple times a day, allowing us to rest peacefully even in this special situation. Every small detail showed genuine care. The warmth of that bowl of hot congee and those comforting words made a foreign place feel less strange and our hearts feel secure and supported. Some emotions are beyond words but will stay in our hearts forever. We are grateful for this encounter and for this kindness that goes above and beyond service. 🙏 Such service deserves to be seen by more people. I genuinely recommend it, five-star rating!

Coinciding with the New Year, we drove to Northwest China, and the Hilton maintained its usual high standards. From the moment we entered, we felt the warmth and enthusiasm of all the staff. They greeted us proactively every time we entered or left, and we also saw the cleaning aunties constantly tidying up, making the place very clean. The front desk staff, Xinglan and Liuliu, were exceptional; they proactively upgraded us to a deluxe room, which was spacious and bright. They made our New Year in Zhangye very enjoyable, and we will definitely stay here again if we have the chance to visit Zhangye in the future.

The location is fantastic, right by the Dang River. It's a five-minute walk to Dunhuang Bookstore, and parking is free. Driving to Crescent Lake, the airport, and Mogao Grottoes all take about fifteen minutes. Shazhou Night Market and Dunhuang Museum are also close by, about a five to six-minute drive. Right behind the hotel is Shunzhang Yellow Noodle Restaurant, and there are snack stalls on the south side of Jinshan Alley in the evenings. They were doing road construction near the entrance when I was there, which made getting in and out a bit inconvenient, but everything else was great. I booked the Mulan King Room, which had a humidifier, a smart speaker, and convenient electric curtains. The room was clean, and the water pressure was excellent, making for a really comfortable shower – almost surprisingly good for Dunhuang! The breakfast selection was quite varied; over three days, the cold and hot dishes rarely repeated. The beef noodle chef deserves high praise, his noodles were very authentic, and the lamb soup was also delicious. I had originally planned to try some local breakfast spots, but ended up eating all three breakfasts at the hotel. I overheard a customer ask for 'lamian' (pulled noodles), and I could tell the chef wasn't thrilled by the term, but he still freshly pulled a bowl for them, haha. I also find it a bit jarring to hear 'lamian' in Gansu, even as a non-local; it's always better to call it 'beef noodles' here. The off-season price was really good value. I'd definitely stay here again. It was a pleasant surprise to be able to see the sand dunes of Mingsha Mountain from the Dang River. The hand soap had a slightly odd smell and could be changed. They provide laundry detergent, which is a nice touch. Pictures 5 and 6 are of the hotel lobby, pictures 2 and 4 show the scenery by the Dang River, and picture 3 is of the bookstore.

This was my first time visiting Zhangye, and I chose this hotel mainly because it was relatively new and its location was decent. The room decor and amenities were generally good, but there were quite a few issues that I hope the staff can address and fix soon. On the first day, as soon as I entered the room, I noticed a strong cigarette smell. Opening the window didn't help much, and the front desk informed me there were no other rooms available. They sent housekeeping to do a 'non-smoking' treatment, which essentially involved spraying some air freshener. Unfortunately, the smell returned in the evening, so I had to keep the window open until I went to bed. The next morning, it felt a bit better, but in the afternoon, I discovered a loud water gushing sound coming from the air conditioner pipe. It continued into the night and was so loud it affected my sleep. I had no choice but to switch rooms. The new room also had its own set of minor issues, like the hallway light turning off automatically after a minute or two, and poor in-room Wi-Fi signal. My phone wouldn't display the Wi-Fi icon unless I turned off cellular data. Both rooms also shared a common problem: the shower water temperature kept fluctuating between hot and cold, which was quite uncomfortable during my three-day stay. Despite these issues, the hotel staff's service attitude was quite satisfactory. They were responsive, actively tried to resolve problems, and handled things competently. If the hardware issues can be improved, I would still recommend this hotel.

Visiting Dunhuang during the off-season was such a great idea! This hotel is fantastic. The room is quite spacious, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning is strong, and the hairdryer has good power. The slippers provided aren't cheap; they're very non-slip, and the toothbrushes are soft-bristled. The towels are also good quality and don't shed. The hotel offers unlimited complimentary coffee, water, and even some floral teas that you can DIY in the lobby. The breakfast is also quite substantial. Every staff member is very enthusiastic. They also offer an airport pick-up service; on the day I arrived, they picked me up alone. Plus, the hotel gave me a free ticket for a West Line day tour and a windproof magic scarf, which I found incredibly useful because I hadn't realized how windy and dusty it gets there. Wearing a mask felt stuffy, so this scarf was perfect. I think the price was double the off-season rate, but the location is excellent, just a bit ahead of the night market, and the decor is quite new. The only slight downsides are: it seems to have smart voice control, but I didn't know what the smart voice was called. It would be great if they could add a smart voice prompt. Also, the bedding was a bit rough, but the duvet was goose down, very light and soft. The soundproofing is okay; you can still hear people if they're talking very loudly next door or in the hallway. Seriously, visiting Dunhuang in the off-season is truly wonderful! Oh, and there are two super cute cats in the hotel, and the pickled cabbage buns for breakfast were delicious!

The hotel is quite new and very clean. We were a group of three, and our room only came with two breakfast vouchers, but the front desk kindly provided an extra one. The handmade beef noodles at breakfast were especially delicious! They were the best I've had in the Hexi Corridor these past two days! As someone from Guangdong, I found the Northwest quite dry, but they provided a humidifier, and the smart toilet with a heated seat was fantastic. The only downside was that the shower water in my room was a bit cold (though my friend's double room had hot water). The hotel's location is good, with many restaurants nearby.

Navigating by car was easy, and there's parking available both in front and behind the hotel. The room was well-equipped with smart features, including a humidifier. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to help – truly fantastic. Breakfast offered a good variety and tasted great. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining options nearby, especially Brothers Barbecue, which was outstanding. Several attractions are within walking distance, making my trip to Wuwei very enjoyable. The only minor drawback was a slight odor in our room.

This was the second Mercure hotel on our trip, and overall, the facilities were quite good. **Facilities:** The hotel is well-equipped. The lobby is clean and bright. As expected from an Accor property, the decor style and design elements are largely consistent. What truly stood out was that on each floor's common area, right outside the elevator, there was a row of complimentary bottled water. This is quite rare in other hotels and very convenient for guests to grab. Breakfast is served on the 21st floor, offering a panoramic view and a great sense of openness. On another note, staying on the 14th floor, the water pressure was a bit low, and the shower felt like it didn't have enough flow. **Hygiene:** The room's cleanliness was generally acceptable, but I found a long hair stuck to a tile in the bathroom. It felt like the cleaning wasn't thorough, which was a bit off-putting. Also, there was a small tear on the bed linen. I'm not sure if it was an oversight, but ideally, it should have been replaced. **Service:** The hotel's front desk manager took my feedback very seriously. Afterwards, they even proactively called us to inform us that the issues had been rectified. This was truly excellent.

My recent stay at this hotel was truly exceptional! Its location is very easy to find, with navigation leading directly to the hotel entrance, and complimentary parking is a huge plus. The front desk staff were warm, enthusiastic, and patiently answered all our inquiries. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors. The space was generous, and the layout was practical. Plus, there are numerous fantastic dining options nearby. It's perfectly situated for both business travelers and tourists, being close to major attractions and very convenient for getting around. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again next time without a second thought!

The hotel rooms are incredibly spacious, truly enormous! Even if it's peak season and a bit pricey, five people wouldn't feel cramped in there. 😂 The hotel is brand new, and all the facilities are excellent. I visited in March, and they had underfloor heating, air conditioning, a humidifier, and an automatic toilet. The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated having both soft and firm pillows – I slept great for several nights. Breakfast was quite lavish for the area, and I personally loved it. They also provide plenty of bottled water in the room; you can just ask for more if you run out. The front desk even offers small items like masks. Indeed, the hotel has a comfortable Mercedes minivan for airport or train station transfers, and everyone seemed to have a great experience with it. Finally, they even gave me a windproof headscarf and a small camel souvenir. 😊 I'll definitely choose this place again next time; it's also very close to the night market.

GGuest UserMy stay here was absolutely fantastic, completely exceeding my expectations. The hotel's location is super convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making getting around a breeze. The room was spotless; no strange odors from the carpet or bedding, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard. The soundproofing was excellent too, which meant I actually got a truly restful night's sleep, a rarity for me in hotels. What really impressed me were the thoughtful service details. The front desk attendant checked me in quickly and even proactively asked if I'd prefer a higher floor, then upgraded our room! Even the cleaning staff greeted us with a smile. There were complimentary snacks and white fungus soup in the room, and you could ask the front desk for a foot soak tub between 6 PM and 11 PM. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, hot water instantly, and strong water pressure – perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. It's truly rare to find a room of such quality and warmth at this price point. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in the area.

XXiaoQbumojiOverall, I'm satisfied. The price isn't expensive, so it offers decent value for money. Facilities: The room itself is quite good, on par with your typical Mercure or Ji Hotel in a city. However, there's a disconnect with the public facilities like the laundry room, elevators, and restaurant, which are a bit subpar, more like a guesthouse. Environment: It's right next to the night market, so the location is excellent. There's also a shuttle bus across the street that goes to the Mogao Grottoes. Hygiene: There were some blind spots for cleanliness. On the day I checked in, there was still a positioning sticker from the previous guest's bathtub liner stuck to the tub. It's not a major issue, but it does show the level of hygiene. For around 200 yuan, it's a very good price. If it were peak season, they'd need to improve a bit more. I regret not taking photos of the interior, but the hotel's pictures are accurate and trustworthy; the actual room is exactly as shown.

GGuest UserFirst off, the hotel itself is truly exceptional. Any hotel that provides amenities like an accelerator (internet booster) and foot bath tubs is unbeatable, especially for those from the south who aren't used to dry weather. Plus, every day when I returned, the bed was impeccably clean. I'm just not sure if daily cleaning is mandatory, as I usually prefer not to be disturbed. The front desk staff were all incredibly polite, courteous, and friendly. Upon check-in, they immediately offered water, and every time I went to the elevator, someone would escort me in – I was genuinely flattered. Sometimes the hot water dispenser at the front desk wasn't easy to use, but they were always enthusiastic about helping and bringing water up to my room. And of course, there are the resident cats! Coming back late at night and seeing Zhaocai and Zhouzhou so relaxed was a treat, though my schedule was too packed to properly play with them. Next, all the aunties in the restaurant were super enthusiastic. They'd welcome you as soon as the elevator doors opened. Since I hadn't booked breakfast, I asked if they could warm up some food for me. Ms. Ding at the restaurant's front desk was very kind, not only heating my food but also giving me some millet porridge, which greatly enhanced my impression. The staff, from the servers to the front desk, made me feel incredibly welcome these past two days. If I have the chance, I'll definitely stay here again. Finally, I must specially mention the hotel's chartered Western Route tour with driver Mr. Pei (car number 23670) – a huge thumbs up! I was already tired from visiting the Mogao Grottoes the day before, and traveling alone, I didn't have high expectations for the Western Route tour. However, Mr. Pei was incredibly enthusiastic and meticulously took care of every passenger. He drove steadily and comfortably throughout the journey, explaining the key points of each scenic spot in advance and offering additional insights into Dunhuang's culture and geography along the way, helping us understand Dunhuang better. The 400-kilometer round trip was never boring. That day, I also got to see the desert sunset and the Gobi starscape – as a southerner, I believe these are must-sees in a lifetime; it would be a wasted trip not to experience them. Of course, the Mogao Grottoes are also essential, and I'll save Mingsha Mountain for my next visit. A journey always needs some lingering regrets to prompt a future return! This trip was unforgettable for me, a southerner visiting the desert Gobi for the first time. My fondness for Dunhuang has more than doubled!

GGuest UserAmazing value for money! I got a luxurious experience for a very reasonable price, what a pleasant surprise! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! I never thought I'd book such a high-end hotel for such a great price. From the moment I walked in, I could tell it had great taste. The interior decor uses high-quality materials and has a fantastic design. The room decor was very unique and stylish, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – I slept like a baby. The service was impeccable; all the staff were super warm and friendly, always ready to help, which made me feel very welcome. Breakfast also deserves praise, with a wide variety of delicious and exquisitely prepared dishes. Even my picky German husband raved about this hotel. Next time we bring the kids for a trip, we'll definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

GGuest UserWhen traveling to Dunhuang, I wanted to book a quiet hotel and chose this hotel. The result was unexpectedly good. Not only was it quiet, but the environment was also very good and very cultural. The preface to the Lanting Collection was carved on the wall of the lobby. I heard it was written by the boss. . The service was also very friendly. Check-in was quick, they answered all our questions and sent us to the room. The room is also very warm, the facilities are new and complete, and there is a humidifier. It is really good to have a humidifier in Northwest China. The bathtub also comes with a disposable bathtub cover, so you can take a bath with confidence. I came back very late from my trip to the Western Front. I asked for two extra pairs of slippers, which were delivered quickly. Good hotel, good service!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel for my trip, and the room was thoughtfully furnished. The twin beds were very spacious, and two adults could comfortably stay in one room. The bedding was clean, pure white, soft and gentle on the skin, and provided just the right amount of support. After a long day of business travel, I could fall asleep immediately. The upholstered headboard was a thoughtful touch, preventing discomfort when using my phone at night. The placement of power outlets and switches was also very convenient, making charging and controlling the lights easy. The hotel's attention to detail was evident; the throw pillows and bed runner were stylishly coordinated, not the generic hotel furnishings, but rather a comfortable and inviting touch. There was also a lounge chair by the window, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon sun or enjoying a cup of tea. Cleanliness was impeccable. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless and odorless, the floors and surfaces were impeccably clean, and the bathroom was spotless and tidy, giving me peace of mind. The staff were also very attentive, checking me in quickly and patiently answering any questions. Overall, the service was excellent, making me feel very comfortable. It's very close to the museum and Crescent Lake, making it very convenient to get around and providing a great experience. GGuest UserThis hotel's service is absolutely, incredibly, unbelievably fantastic!!! Due to our schedule, we arrived at the hotel past 1 AM. After checking in, I started feeling unwell (probably from drinking iced milk tea and getting car sick), so we immediately went to the hospital. When we left, a staff member saw us by the elevator and asked what was wrong, which truly made us two girls feel very safe. Then, the next afternoon, when I felt a bit better and went out for a walk, the hotel called me. They thoughtfully asked about my condition and even mentioned they had prepared some plain congee for me to eat when I returned in the evening. This level of thoughtfulness is truly amazing, I have to give them a huge thumbs up!!! The hotel also prepares hot milk and freshly squeezed apple juice in the evening (the apple juice isn't too sweet, both are delicious, highly recommend!!!). And the uncle who drove us to the high-speed train station was also very kind and gentle. When we arrived at the station, he even offered to help us carry our luggage up the stairs. Oh, and one more thing: because we planted trees in Minqin, some of our clothes were quite dirty, so we used the hotel's laundry service. After calling, an auntie came to collect the clothes, carefully separating the light and dark colors, and the washing and drying were very fast! If I ever get the chance to visit Zhangye again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The service is just too thoughtful and amazing!!! Also, even though we booked a standard room, the room size was surprisingly spacious, which was another unexpected bonus (I forgot to take a panoramic photo when we left).

DDunhuanglvyoutuijianA perfect stay experience beyond expectations! Definitely worth recommending! This trip to Dunhuang chose the Zen Twin Room of Hexi Corridor Hotel, which completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel is equipped with fruits and Dunhuang apricot peel water. From check-in to check-out, every detail makes people feel thoughtful. Environmental facilities: The hotel decoration is very Silk Road style, the lobby is magnificent, the room is spacious and bright, the bedding is comfortable and clean, and the beautiful night view of the Danghe style line can be seen outside the window. It is very beautiful. Overlooking the Dunhuang Mingsha Mountain from a distance, it is simply a resting place tailored for travel! Service attitude: The front desk lady is warm and thoughtful, the room aunt cleans meticulously, and the room is brand new after returning from the scenic spot. Geographical location: It is only a few hundred meters away from Dunhuang Bookstore and more than 5 kilometers away from Mingsha Mountain and other attractions. There is a supermarket downstairs. It is very convenient to take a taxi or drive by car, which saves a lot of time. Special experience: The local specialties for breakfast are super rich, and I also went to see the performance of Ledong Dunhuang in the evening! I will definitely choose here next time I come to Dunhuang!

The brothers that own the place are extremely friendly and helped drive us around to everything from the sights to their food recommendations that were all delicious. Not to mention beer, fruit and other drinks are all included at the hotel free of charge! It’s also walking distance to the oasis. To any foreigner wanting to travel here, these guys make it so easy and stress free, it’s worth it for them, plus there’s a place to swim amongst the heat and great air conditioning. You can see the dunes from the roof of the hotel too, where there’s tables and chairs to relax for a drink. Would come again in a heart beat.
