We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stafford Guest House. The property is beautiful, set within peaceful surroundings and complemented by a lovely garden. We stayed in the four-poster bedroom, which was spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfectly balanced comfort with a touch of luxury. It also offered delightful views overlooking the garden. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, providing engaging conversation as well as helpful local recommendations. Everything was clearly explained upon arrival, making the entire experience smooth and effortless from the very beginning. Breakfast was both delicious and generous in portion. Additionally, there is a charming village pub just a short walk away — The Boot & Shoe Inn — which added to the experience. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The only thing to complain is the waitress in the restaurant. She’s so arrogant, cold. She seems the only one to take orders at dinner and breakfast time . It’s very hard to put up with her. I only left 2 pound tip. That’s only for the courtesy. she doesn’t deserve the tip at all! We planned to stay in the same hotel on the way back from Scotland, but hesitate because of her bad service as it’s hard to avoid . It’s inconvenient to have meals outside the hotel. .., Plus the salad served with old whole leaves !!!
