YyaseinThe best hotel during my trip to China.
The room was clean, well-organized, and new.
The breakfast was excellent, delicious, and varied.
The staff were extremely helpful. It was a snowy day, and they offered me hot water upon arrival and turned on the heating before I entered the room. On the second day, they kindly helped me arrange a taxi. Small gestures, but very important.
By the way, I travel a lot and stay in a different hotel almost every day, but I truly felt the need to thank this wonderful staff.
Mercure Hotels will always be my first choice.
GGuest UserThe location is okay for concerts, about a 30-minute walk. However, there is construction nearby, which makes it noisy. The renovation is probably quite old, and some of the design is not very reasonable. There is no full-length mirror, and the sink does not have a trash can. Also, people will slip small cards into the room at night. The room itself is quite large.

GGuest UserJiuhua Mountain comes as soon as you think of it!
Before coming, I did some homework. There are old hotels on the mountain, and many design B&Bs have also grown up. And this one is the most emotional.
As soon as the order was placed, the butler contacted us on WeChat and arranged for a car to pick us up when we reached the mountain. We ”rejected” the housekeeper's kindness and walked all the way into Jiuhua Old Street. When we were about to get lost in the dotted alleys, the B&B suddenly appeared in front of us.
”Alley”, as its name suggests, is hidden among alleys. The afternoon sun was just right. When we walked in, the snow that fell last week had not completely melted. The white walls and green tiles, a small courtyard, and a big tree shone in the warm winter sun.
After getting familiar with the terrain, I found that the location of the B&B is very good, with major temples, the cable car to the Centennial Palace, and the bus to the rooftop for transfer all nearby.
What also left a deep impression on me were the three young girls in the B&B. They were full of laughter, very cute, and felt like family.
GGuest UserThe service at Baiyun Hotel far exceeded my expectations. Before heading to Huangshan, I mentally prepared myself for the limited resources on the mountain, expecting just a clean and hygienic place for one night. However, the hotel provided a dedicated butler for each room. The welcoming ginger tea brought warmth to our bodies and minds after the rain, and the welcome fruit and snacks replenished our energy after a day of hiking. We really enjoyed the dinner buffet, which featured local Huangshan specialties. Thanks to the butler's timely WeChat notification, we were pleasantly surprised to witness a spectacular sunset on a rainy day! You can see it right from the platform just outside the hotel entrance! Before checking out the next day, the butler even prepared coffee and bottled water for us in advance – so thoughtful! My stay at Baiyun Hotel this time was absolutely wonderful!
GGuest UserFresh back from working abroad, my family and I made our first stop straight for Huangshan. I stumbled upon your guesthouse on Ctrip and was instantly smitten.
The moment we stepped in, the walls were covered with blooming roses, so gentle and soothing, instantly washing away all my fatigue. The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful, accompanying us throughout, helping us take so many beautiful photos, just like a natural friend. The food was an even bigger surprise; we tasted the most authentic flavors, and they even used their own cold-pressed rapeseed oil – truly heartfelt down to the core.
The environment was quiet and comfortable, providing a sense of relaxation I hadn't experienced in a long time, truly healing for the soul. In the afternoon, sitting in the tea garden behind the guesthouse, zoning out, unwinding, and sipping tea, with not a single worry on my mind. This is what travel should be like: peaceful, warm, full of life, and poetic.
GGuest User⭐⭐⭐ Light on Quality, Heavy on Service – Average Stay
The pictures of Mishoohi Secret Land Hotel (Huangshan Bay Scenic Area) look absolutely beautiful online, but our actual experience was a bit mixed. While it’s not a bad place to stay, the facilities are quite worn down, and the overall quality feels average compared to what is advertised.
### The Pros:
* **Amazing Staff:** The team is young, incredibly friendly, and eager to help.
* **Great Tour Booking:** We booked our local tours directly through the hotel. The staff member who assisted us was exceptionally kind, making the entire coordination process seamless and stress-free.
### The Cons:
* **Worn-Down Facilities:** The property is showing its age. It definitely needs some maintenance and upgrades to match the premium look shown in the photos.
> **Final Verdict:** The heartwarming service from the young staff almost makes up for the tired property, but next time, I would likely choose a different hotel in the area for better room quality.
Mmai7378Mount Huangshan is a mountain range of breathtaking beauty and rugged terrain. Maintaining a four-star hotel inside a 5A protected scenic area, where every supply — from food and bed linens to waste removal — must be carried up and down the mountain manually by workers, requires an extraordinary amount of effort and dedication. It is impossible to compare the operational cost and hard work behind a four-star hotel here with hotels in ordinary locations.
Even so, this hotel provided an excellent experience in every aspect. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were always warm, welcoming, and enthusiastic.
I would especially like to thank Ms. Xiao Ma at the front desk. She assisted me throughout my entire stay and helped resolve every issue I encountered, even though we had to communicate through WeChat translation. I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism.
I highly recommend this hotel and sincerely hope to return one day with my family and friends. Huangshan is truly an unforgettable place.
GGuest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel, purely because of its location. For its spot, the amenities still offer great value for money. However, this time I booked a king room and was given one facing the street. My much-anticipated holiday, a relaxing mountain escape in southern Anhui, was ruined by a night of noise. I understand that the Yellow Mountain entrance/exit sees a lot of traffic, but the reality is I didn't sleep a wink. I'd suggest upgrading the windows on the street-facing side to high-standard, soundproof ones – it would make a real difference. The breakfast selection also seemed a bit limited. Overall though, it's still consistently good and remains one of the top-tier options in this town. These are my honest thoughts, hope they're helpful.
DDaochucuandexiaoabaoThe hotel has a good environment and good service. The duty manager Wu Tong is very professional and reliable. The hotel's buffet breakfast is also very good, the scenery is very good, and it is worth recommending for travel. You can directly see Chaohu Lake

SSayKLWas pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic century old cluster of 4 buildings beautifully renovated with modern amenities and yet manage to create a Zen environment that has a historic vibe with a peaceful atmosphere of tree, shrubs, flowers and artifacts. It has a beautiful appointed common areas to relax in with individual rooms for tea ceremony, music, reading and more. The hotel is 40 meters behind the main pedestrian street with all the shops and restaurants but it is all quiet and tranquil in the hotel, like you just step back in time. The breakfast is a little spartan and limited choices. I was ok with coffee, eggs and toast, it has limited Chinese breakfast selection. But 40 meters away on the Main Street you will find Starbucks,
Dairy Queen, and KFC in the same corner, that was a bigger surprise. A stay to remember, unique and a great way to relax and appreciate peacefulness after a day of sight seeing. The room is spacious, good bed, clean, has a kettle, mini fridge with high quality Chinese tea leaves to brew your own tea. Highly recommend place to stay in the area.
