The room is facing the coast, you can see the sea, the sunrise, and the cruise ships coming in and out of the port. Parking is conveniently located in the basement of the hotel. The location is excellent, shopping and sightseeing are very close, and there are many delicious foods around. The receptionist is very enthusiastic, and there are people who can speak Chinese, which is great. The hotel breakfast is a set meal, and there are not many choices for us.

About 25 minutes to Lunenburg, there are supermarkets and gas stations nearby. Room service is very good. The problem will be dealt with in time. Breakfast coffee juice bread fruit cereals and other basic foods are very good. Very good transit hotel.

I stayed at Chateau Bedford, Trademark Collection by Wyndham from April 19–20, 2025, for a family trip to Halifax. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we needed extra towels, toiletries, and coffee refills, which were initially insufficient in the room.
The hotel facilities were generally good, but the TV casting function did not work properly during our stay. Also, the breakfast could offer a bit more variety, and unfortunately, the hot cake machine was out of order, which was a disappointment for my kids.
That said, the service team was responsive, and we appreciated their support throughout our stay. With a few improvements, the experience could be even better.

Very satisfied because of the service. I have stayed in some hotels in Canada, including several five-star Fairmont, and by contrast, this service is really comfortable. This location is also very good, to the beach down the mountain, seven or eight minutes, to the castle mountain is five minutes, less than ten minutes from the public garden. Breakfast is weak and the variety is small. Next time you come to Hafa, you may consider choosing this one again.

RRoaming DogHotel was situated on a huge property with plenty of free parking. Free parking at hotels is a rare commodity these days as every establishment is treating it as a cash grab. Hotel is roght beside a ***** mall with a few shops and a pizza store. Besides this, nothing is within walking distance. When I arrived back to my room after a late dinner, I found a roaming cockroach in the washroom and I instantly sent it to it’s death. Hotel was quite comfortable front desk staff were courteous. I would recommend the hotel to friends for stay if they ever happen to be in the vicinity. Overall I would return to this hotel myself if I’m ever in town.

It was so horrifying, we checked in with our toddler as well. They were able to tranfer us to a different room, everyone was prompt to action this. GGuest UserDas Hotel hat nur 6 Zimmer und ist ein altes historisches Gebäude. Alles daher etwas hellhörig. Man hörte, wenn jemand nebenan die Toulette benutzte. Das Hotel liegt an einer stärker befahrenen Straße und leider hört man auch die Autos. Wir hatten das Sunroom und das konnte man nicht abdunkeln. Nicht zu empfehlen für Menschen, die Dunkelheit brauchen. Es ist schön eingerichtet, aber die Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig, der Strom im Bad war ausgefallen und man hatte den Eindruck, dass eine technische Renovierung notwendig wäre. Das Personal ist super nett. Frühstück eher überschaubar. Alles abgezählt und kein Nachschub vorgesehen. Direkt nebenan ist die Weinbar. Wir haben eine Probe gemacht und wollten es auf das Zimmer schreiben lassen, ging aber nicht, weil die Businesses getrennt sind. Kann man so machen, ist aber nicht kundenfreundlich. Alles in Allem für 1-2 Nächte OK, aber unsere Erwartungen waren höher.
