Nevertheless, the consideration and kindness of the staff were impressed by the way they did their best to lack 10 stars. Especially thanks to the staff who said Nepal was home, it was a very happy trip."

Excellent hotel with great location, everything was perfect. Staff was nice. The room with balcony overlooking the town is beautiful and well-functioned. The rooftop onsen is comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful. We love our stay very much.

Location is a short walk from Dogo onsen station. The experience was amazing, rooms were huge and I was surprised to have a staff member show us around the room and explain the amenities available. The amount of hospitality is above and beyond any we've experienced at other places and ryokans. They also have a very beautiful outdoor garden, onsen and geta (traditional Japanese wooden shoes) and yukata to wear around the premises.

I booked a Japanese-style room. The room was spacious and very clean, and came with complimentary snacks, sake, and orange juice. Both breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Dinner was a 10-course Kaiseki meal, and every dish was delicious. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of choices, with the seafood donburi being particularly outstanding. There were four different baths to choose from. Overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money.

I would like to give perfect scores for everything, from the service and food to the cleanliness. The hot spring water was excellent, and the complimentary lounge service was great. There was also a small gift shop where I was able to buy a decorative item. I would love to stay here again if I visit Matsuyama!

The room is large and expensive. It has a private hot spring ♨️ and complete facilities. It is a 3-minute walk from the main building of Dogo Onsen. It is especially suitable for getting up early to take pictures of the empty main hotel. The hot spring of the main hotel is open very late and there are more people than during the day. Much less. After soaking in Senri Chihiro's prototype building oil house (Dogo Onsen Main Building), you can also soak in a private hot spring when you return to the hotel. The hotel's hot spring water comes from the same water source as Dogo's. The reservation included breakfast and dinner. The beef in the set meal was delicious, and the other dishes were quite satisfactory. The price was due to the large room and private hot spring.

In conclusion, for the same price, I personally think a regular hotel would be a better fit. I don't think I'll be returning. [Room] The room was cleaner than I expected. However, since it's an old house, the windows didn't close all the way, which was disappointing, letting in plenty of insects. [Facilities] The bathroom was modern and nice, but the shower was a bit awkwardly positioned. The temperature control was too low, and the chair was too low. [Staff] The service varied from staff to staff, which was a real shame. For example, at breakfast, some days they provided explanations and some didn't, and the level of service varied depending on the staff. Also, the breakfast area was hectic and bustling, making it difficult to enjoy a meal.

It was an inn full of hospitality. It was very quiet and I had a relaxing time. Both breakfast and dinner were served in your room and you could relax. However, I was a little disappointed that the slope from Dogo Onsen Station to the hotel was steep.

Beautiful location full of nature with polite customer service, dishes full of Ehime's charm, all were very nice. I used it on my wedding anniversary, but it made me a very good memory. It was a hotel that could be refreshed in nature.

This hotel is located on the top of a mountain and was designed by Tadao Ando. There are seven rooms in total, one per floor, including the new building and the main building. Because we arrived late today, the hotel left four staff members to serve us. They had been emailing us to inquire about the arrival time and whether we had food allergies. They were very caring and meticulous. We booked a semi-open-air hot spring forest room. The room is large, but the decoration style is very Andou style. The room has a private bath but it is not open-air, two bathrooms, and a mini bar with various drinks. The Ehime orange juice is very delicious. The whole hotel is Andou Tadao's gallery. The main features are spaciousness, natural light, concrete, and basement. It is a mini version of Chichu Gallery in Naoshima.
