2-Star Hotels in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan

I loved staying here!! It had such a great communal vibe to it. One of my favorite memories from traveling Japan is sitting at the low tables in the common area, eating a convenience store dinner and watching baseball on the tv. I was only there 3 nights but it felt like it would’ve been an easy place to settle into for a longer stay. There was a fridge and kitchen, two showers & toilets, laundry, luggage storage, lockers, etc. Very close to the train station. Rooms were clean, I felt like the staff did a great job on the upkeep. I would definitely recommend you stay here. The only thing to be aware of is that the mattresses are really thin so the sleeping surface feels really hard.

The room was clean, the staff at the front desk were very friendly, parking was free, and they would assist with parking after you handed the key to the front desk. The location was excellent, with many good izakayas (Japanese pubs) downstairs. The room wasn't large, but it was sufficient.

ホテルの部屋はシングル(シャワールーム無し)でした。外の声が聞こえて夜寝れなかったのが残念。しかし、朝食のビュッフェを提供しているレストランの方たちはとても対応が良かったです。総合的に4/5評価です。

What a surprisingly wonderful old ryokan! Operating for a century, its interior boasts a rich Showa-era charm. It definitely feels historic but is spotlessly clean. The true highlight was breakfast, which unexpectedly featured pork shabu-shabu. The broth was made with genuine, high-quality ingredients, and the yuzu kosho was locally sourced. Paired with the black pork, it was absolutely delicious! 😋

The whole trip to the destination is still a bit down, but everyone is sticking to it, and as tourists, we are also very suitable for traveling hard! The room is still very lifelike, that is, 2 pairs of rice and a little crowded, the kitchen is a plus, the boss is very intimate to prepare the salt and black pepper, all drinking water, bags, small snacks are very generous, not to mention very bicycles, overall recommendation

5,800円で宿泊、この辺りの界隈では安い方なのでここに。パーキングが少なく、少し歩いたところに止めるはめにはなりましたが全体的には満足。 朝から部屋に日差しが入ってきて明るくて目があいてしまったのはちょっと残念。

Excellent. Silent, cool rooms, where you wouldn't think they're in the container. The bicycle is a camera-controlled parking ceiling big plus a bicycle travel. If I happen to get to the place I'll surely come back.

It was clean and very good. There was a bath, but I used it because there was a very good hot spring within walking distance.

As the name suggests, Showa-like inn. The best inn for me. But the toilet was a little troubled. I wipe it with my left hand when wiping my butt, but when I wipe it, the toilet seat tilts to the right side, if you fix it, １００ perfect score, because it's me (laughs) Also, Goemon bath I wonder if it was good, I've been in Fukushima since I entered, so I'm very satisfied. (laughter)
