5-Star Hotels in Antwerp Province, Belgium

The Sapphire House Antwerp, Autograph Collection, boasts an excellent location. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Central Station and just a 3-minute stroll to the city center's pedestrian and luxury shopping streets, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The hotel is a converted old building, and I've always loved its design. This was my 'nth' stay here, but this time, the experience fell a little short. The main issue was a sewage smell emanating from the bathroom. I suspect it's due to unresolved plumbing issues in the old building. I occasionally noticed a similar odor in the elevator area, which was a bit off-putting. Aside from that, the rest of the room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. If it's your first time in Antwerp, I would still recommend it for its location and design, but be prepared for potential odor issues that can sometimes come with older buildings. I hope the hotel addresses this problem in the future.

It was a unique hotel. Green surroundings, yet right in the middle of the city. We had high tea, which was very good. The only minor drawback was that the sweets were all white chocolate mousse, so a bit more variety in the sweet options would have made it even better for us. Something like a macaron or a praline, for example, but otherwise, no complaints. Breakfast was amazing. I'm not sure if I'd say it was worth 60 euros per person, but it was very good. The service was also excellent. They even walked us to our room. We were given an accessible room, though I'm not sure why, but an adjustable bed wasn't a bad thing at all.

This is a service apartment, the sanitation is very clean, the room size is right, and there is a parking lot next to it. Tom service is very good, very meticulous, especially efficient, I booked a room at 8:00 in the morning, he immediately replied, and arranged the room for me before 1:00 even the added bed was laid. This trip has been playing in Europe for more than 20 days, with hotel chains and homestays, serviced apartments. The overall feeling is that serviced apartments in Europe may be better.
