This was our first stay here and will keep it in mind as a more affordable option in the SLC Downtown space.
In general, this is an older property that has the basics of a good place to stay. The rooms were clean and had a the larger ”dorm fridge” and a microwave. The beds/bedding were VERY comfortable. Parking is free and they do allow pets for a $25 fee. (NOTE: The Trip.com site says that pets are not allowed.) The location is very good, with walking-distance access to alot of restaurants, bars, entertainment, shopping, etc. We took a $7+ Uber to/from The State Room, which is only 1/2 mile away because I just had my hip replaced. Would normally have walked.
What they could do better:
While they have some beautiful plants on the property, they could spruce it up a bit with some paint and deep cleaning of the concrete walkways. The lobby/front desk reminds me of a motel in a seedy location. The front desk person is behind an enclosed Plexi-Glass structure and the lobby is not somewhere to gather, as it is not kept very clean. They do not serve food at all, due to COVID-era decisions (see picture), and the presence of junk food vending machines shows that they are not concerned with that decision and will continue that non-service going forward. (TIP: Go next door to The Red Beryl restaurant in the Doubletree. Excellent food, service, and prices!) Maybe if the front desk person offered a list of nearby eating establishments to guests when they check-in, this would be a non-issue. The only room challenge was that the blackout shade roller was non-operational, requiring a more manual approach with it to cover the window. As with a lot of hotels, they charge a $100 deposit that is given back when you check out. If you use a card, that's 3-5 business days. If you use cash, it's returned immediately after they perform a cursory room look-see. The staff that served us was not pleasant or unpleasant; pretty much a business attitude.
It was already early in the morning at the hotel and the stay was smooth. I saw the environment early the next morning, which is very good. The only risk point is the balcony and the next room are common. When you go alone, you still have to lock the door and pull the curtains. Breakfast is rich and has sausages.
Temporary passing by for one night, the location is convenient, get off the highway. The room is OK, the area is quite large, the bedding is comfortable. But the elevator was broken, the cockroach could carry the luggage upstairs, the elevator was not repaired the next day, and the notice posted felt like it was broken for more than a day.
This hotel is located on the highway, close to Bryce Canyon and easy to find. The parking lot is large and convenient for parking. The hotel includes breakfast - an unexpected surprise! The front desk staff was also very friendly and the breakfast was good. The facilities in the house are complete and clean.
Very good, the location of the hotel is good, the hotel service is also very good, arrived in the middle of the night, check in quickly explained very comprehensive, great! Recommend to friends! It’s easy to find, with McDonald’s next to it, and the hotel service is also very good.

JJon GreenerWe drove from Lake Tahoe to Salt Lake, so it was a long day… thankfully the front desk was very accommodating and said they’d hold our reservation until 4:00am, we arrived a little after 1:00am.
The room was adequate, although smelled a little odd (tha A/C?). The continental breakfast was good, but they ran out of waffle mix before my son & I could both get a full waffle. And we were going to hang out at the pool and hot tub until checkout but the pool was closed for cleaning or something… all-in-all a little disappointing, but hard to argue with the $109 pricetag for a family of 4…
MMryxThe hotel is brand new, the service was excellent, and I had a wonderful stay. Moab is truly a magical destination, with colossal red rock cliffs along the Colorado River offering absolutely unparalleled views. Nearby, Arches National Park also features spectacular geological formations!
田田The hotel is good, the environment is comfortable, the price is not bad, the hotel bed is very comfortable, it is very good value for money, it’s a good value for money, it’s awesome, likes, praise, praise, praise, praise, praise
ZZHISONGI returned to Vegas from Zion. I like this place very much. The people of Utah are very enthusiastic. There is a shooting range nearby, which is very recommended. It is called Rowdys. If you want to come to the United States to shoot a gun, you can definitely arrange it. There are more choices than California, and cheaper than Vegas There are few people. After all, it is not a place with many tourists. There is a self-service car wash downstairs and a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant is very delicious.
Ccrf007The location of the hotel is good, and you can enjoy the beautiful ”Rizhao Jinshan” in the parking lot behind. But the wireless network needs to be upgraded. WiFi is sometimes absent. It is constantly necessary to log in again. A 20-minute video may be interrupted twice and cannot handle important matters.
AAbdulHotel was not a good place as floor was completely dirty and dirt sticks on feet.
Trip.com service doesn't get processed with hotel's system automatically. It gives a delayed check in.
AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salt Lake City Airport and was quite disappointed with my experience. The room was not very clean, which was unexpected and uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a box of tissues running out from the moment I checked in.
The amenities were very limited. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, which made my stay less convenient. The room itself was also much smaller than I expected.
While the location is excellent and the staff was generally average in their service, the overall quality did not meet my expectations. I hope the management will take steps to improve the cleanliness and provide better facilities for future guests.
