When I booked the room, I was sure there would be a private restroom and shower, but upon check-in, I discovered the facilities were shared. Please note this! It's very important to me that the facilities are private, so if this is also critical for you, I don't recommend this hotel (hostel). Another thing that bothered me was that the doors to the common areas don't lock at night, meaning anyone can come in. The common doors leading from the elevator also don't have any kind of combination lock. The management said there were cameras everywhere, but for me personally, cameras can't stop me from doing something while I'm in the act; they can be used in court after the fact. So, this detail also caused me discomfort. Otherwise, everything was fine: clean, conveniently located, nice courtyard, and we booked through the app without any additional paperwork or passport scans.

A very satisfying accommodation experience. The front desk spoke good English and had no communication barriers. They could help book tickets back to the Irkutsk hotel and a day trip to the island. The breakfast tasted good and was very filling. It was a 10-minute walk from the Khuzhir bus stop, which was quite convenient.

I really liked the hotel. Nice clean cozy rooms. A soft, comfortable bed with clean, snow-white linens. The room has a kettle, bathrobes, and a hairdryer. I recommend everyone to take breakfast. Very tasty cooked breakfast. There is a pleasant, friendly administrator at the reception. We checked in quickly within 2 minutes. The room is quiet and peaceful, sound insulation is good. Good location relative to the airport. If we are in Irkutsk again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

The island is mostly filled with guesthouses like these, with shared bathrooms and showers, owners who speak English, good natural scenery, and decent locations. I heard that to protect the island's environment, large-scale hotel construction is not allowed, so almost all the accommodations on the island are of this type.

There was plenty of hot water, although the water pressure was inconsistent, fluctuating between strong and weak. However, this is quite normal, and the hot water was very hot, perfect for washing hair and showering. The town only has one main road, and the hotel is right by it, making getting around very convenient. The town center is just a five-minute walk away. Next to the hotel is a park, and the bubble ice on its lake is even more beautiful than Lake Baikal's. I recommend bringing a thermos of hot water to take photos there. Breakfast was plentiful. I stayed in a room on the third floor of a small building, and I suggest booking a similar room type. These rooms are closer to the hot water facilities, so the toilet flush and hot water supply are more consistent. The front desk is often unstaffed, but if you add the owner on WeChat, they will respond – I recommend doing so. The owner's cat is very friendly and loves being petted. I brought cat food and treats, and it really enjoyed them.

In general, if you want to spend the night on a budget, then I think it's okay, but it's still better to overpay a little and rent a normal hotel. The rooms are on the second floor, the kitchen, toilet and shower are on the first, very inconvenient (( and it's also very cold downstairs, also if someone talks in the hallway, you can hear them in the room very well
