This is my second time staying here. Its former name was Zuric Inn back then which confused some of the drivers from the airport to another property closed to its former name. And it‘s still the best location in town and the best value for money. What I love about this place are as follows.
Location: Conveniently located at the heart of the town proper. Surrounded by different business for your convenience.
Cleanliness: From the room to its common areas, it‘s always clean and fresh.
Sleep Quality: Although it is located at the heart of the town proper, our room was silent, helping you to catch that peaceful sleep at anytime.
Staffs: They‘re very friendly and helpful. Just don‘t mind the owner, never seen him him smiled during my stay. He was always frowning but nonetheless he‘s cute!
Facilities: The entire property is equipped with a high speed wifi, I did not experience a dead spot anywhere in common areas, even in our room. Hot and cold water is provided for everyone with free use of their cups.
I will definitely come back here next year.
This is the best price-quality relationship hotel I’ve been. The position is great, specially if you choose the room 1 or 2. It’s a very simple hotel, not many amenities which is normal due to the price. Furthermore, Myriam the host is a marvelous person and always available to help you. Highly recommended
the food served were delicious, the place is nice . its just that theres no slippers available inside the room but the staff shes kind enough to lend hers. Theres a lot of mosquitos inside the room i could not sleep because i worry about getting dengue. the headboard is dusty. good thing their staff were really nice i hope theyll improve more esp the aspect of mosquitos getting inside the room
Located in San Jose, Carabao Island Beach Camp features a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a sea view.
At the resort, each room is equipped with a closet.
An à la carte, continental or Full English/Irish breakfast is available at the property. At Carabao Island Beach Camp you'll find a restaurant serving American, British and Seafood cuisine. Vegetarian and vegan options can also be requested.
The accommodation offers a spa center.
Caticlan Airport is 16 miles away.
Clean accommodation and just 3-5mins from SM puerto princesa and is also near the airport.
It’s like a traditional Filipino home that you need to take your slippers/shoes off upon entering someone’s place/house.
Will definitely recommend this place.
We enjoyed their restaurant coz the staff was kind, generous, and helpful. The food was delicious, despite sisig was costly mischiefed (it was more expensive than in menu prices), it has a free videoki and disco, and water. We had plenty fun dancing at the disco and having fun with the other local people. The music was awesome and lovely. There most lovely thing is there is security (at both restaurants and hotel) that guards and guides.
The room we had was awful. There was no soap, no tissue, neither shampoo, a miserable room with cockroaches and ants, but we checked out earlier by mistake and we were checked in an upgraded room. The room was exclusive. Thanks for that.
Request granted. Initially, me and my mom planned for this trip, so I requested for a lower floor room, although last minute my mom backed out due to sched conflict, still, they gave me the most convenient room for a senior, and the room is noticeably clean and smells good. 👍
Staffs are friendly & accommodating, location is very strategic near to malls, restaurants & easy access to land transportation. Facilities are good with elevator very helpful to senior citizens. My recommendations are: replacement of old bath towels & some repair of bathroom drainage ( water stock at the floor)
The location is perfect, right in the centre of El Nido city. Just a few hundred meters to the beach. It’s a very simple hotel but everyone working there is lovely and helps you with anything if you just ask them. There’s a shared kitchen on the top floor. We didn’t get the room cleaned during our stay of 4 nights but got fresh towels when we asked for it. Beautiful view outside of the windows!
Basic hotel at reasonable cost on Gabinete road. The Rovia hotel is quiet, has no restaurant, however, you will find plenty of local eateries in the Barangay Bancao-bancao. About 600 metres from the fishing port. You can swim in the sea there.
Nobody told us:- Rovia hotel swimming facilities are best in the area, partially shaded by overhead screens. Adult pool great for practising technique and stamina. Kiddies pool bigger than most local hotel adult pools. Lots of local children pay to swim in the pools on weekends.
Air conditioning works fine, bathroom sink has no drain plug, shower is quite nice. Kettle in the hallway for coffee. Wi-Fi disappears during the night, though. No fridge in our room, but great balcony facing the morning sunrise. TV is average. Ideal for small families with many excursions. We booked a second stay of 11 days in February 2024.

MmischiefSai AestravThe Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café.
The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go.
The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan.
You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use.
I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa.
There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance.
The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location.
The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map.
So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.
Ss.oya_Great location. They don't provide towels for free, so if you need them you can rent it for 50 pesos. You can also book a tour or ferry through the front desk and it's super convenient. The room is nice. It has an air conditioner and a fan. The bed was big with a clean linen.
If you book a 12 person room you will have a shower in a room, but the water pressure there is weak. But you can go to the 2nd floor bathroom.
YYizhuliangrenIt is close to the sea, and you can see the sea when you go out. The house is clean and hygienic, but there is no quilt. The shower water pressure is not great. Breakfast is provided. Traveling to other places, the front desk can call a car and book a boat ticket
GGuest UserReview for Ginto Residence in El Nido – 4/5 Stars
Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp.
The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet.
Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!
PPau.Booked the hostel for 1 night just because it was close to the airport at a fair price, the room is ok, I'm not very picky about it as long as it is clean. I guess for the price it was fair. and the staff was extremely polite. What disappointed me was that my booking was breakfast Included which in my experience as a guest and staff I. several hostels should include at least coffee/tea, cereal, toast and spreadable (butter, jam, Nutella, peanut butter,...) what I got two pieces of bread one spoon of jam and one frozen slice of butter, paid for my coffee and when I asked if I could have one more toast there was no more bread, there was however for the eggs I ordered and paid additionally, my advice if they can offer decent basic breakfast just don't offered as an option with the booking.
LLisaLPWe stayed for five nights, booking one double room and one family room. Both rooms were sufficiently furnished, and there were tables outside that we made good use of during the day. We were also offered the use of a fridge in the common area, which we really appreciated. From what I understand, only the family rooms come with water heating.
The location is very good—tucked away in a safe, lively neighbourhood and within walking distance of both NCCC Mall and SM City Puerto Princesa Mall, where there are supermarkets and plenty of food options. We were also able to walk to several places of interest in the city, including the Boardwalk, Chinatown, the Heritage Centre, and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. There’s a laundry just across the road that charges reasonable rates.
The hosts were the best part of the stay. They were family-oriented, warm, hospitable, accommodating, and very communicative. They helped organise tours at prices better than those offered on online platforms. We had a whale of a time at Honda Bay and the Underground River—both are must-experience attractions when visiting Palawan.
Highly recommended for travellers looking for a welcoming place, great hosts, and a convenient location.
EEKATERINASkyWe spent one night, everything was great. Breakfasts were not bad, it's a sin to complain for such a price. We warned in advance about late check-in, check-in went smoothly. We recommend!
GGuest UserWe spent 4 nights at this hotel.
The real positive is the swimming pool and its garden.
A great quiet place to rest in this town of Coron.
Bravo also for the cooking, the cooking is excellent !!
On the negative side, excursions to the islands are more expensive than in town ...
Nevertheless a great stay in Kokosnuss
GGuest UserThe single room is very small, but very clean, all the facilities are available, the hotel front desk service is very attentive, the breakfast is very delicious, and there are many options. The reception desk will check in for dinner time the night before, the town is small, so the location is also Not bad, you can see the coastline from the rooftop. 5 star recommendation.
