2-Star Hotels in Eastern Visayas, Philippines

This will be a positive review. I stated 8 or 10 other gv hotels before, but i have to give this one eight out of 10 which is excellent considering all the others were five or six. It is cleaner overall the staff seems to be more attentive and care it's a nice place finally good to see a manager doing a good job. Thank you.

Modern, quiet rooms with split-type air conditioning, spotless bathrooms, and friendly service. The 6th-floor al fresco area offers beautiful oceanfront views. Parking can be difficult due to shared space with the adjacent mall. The location is roughly 10-15 minutes drive to the City of Tacloban.

A simple hotel that functions well. Cool aircon, clear Cable TV channels and good WiFi. Strong cold shower water pressure. Only soap provided. Bring your own towels because the provided towels has turned to brownish instead of white. Some stains on the bedsheets. Keep your expectations low. 🤣

The CR NEEDS UPGRADING. NEED BiDET AND HOT WATER. ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND NO TELEVISION! WIFI GOOD. Absolutely no soap no toilet paper no shampoo.. Ridiculous at the price. GV hotels are failing in amenities.

The thing I really like the most about our room is the lighting, it’s super aesthetic! Hehe. It’s also clean and smells really nice. The staff are friendly and approachable, and they’re always happy, which I really like. Overall, it’s definitely a 10/10! I highly recommend staying jmcl if you’re just visiting tacloban just to explore or go to Marasbaras or downtown. Although it takes two rides to get there, pero okay naman din. worth it talaga 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻….

If you're looking for a cheap hotel room to sleep in, then this is for you. It is very spacious even if you book a single room,, with TV and AC. It is located at the center of the town. It has basic amenities, with a shower but don't expect a hot shower since it's only cheap for backpackers. I only have one issue, the toilet has a very strong pee smell and they didn't clean it. I hope they will clean it next time since this room is a good deal.

My first time visiting Baybay Leyte and my most worried part is if the accommodation is clean and so on but Meaco Hotel didn't disappoint me. Very clean and very accessible to stores, restaurants and port. It was a nice stay.

This hotel is just convenient to the port area and terminal so it’s perfect just the hotel is average specially if your booked through 3rd party site they will give you the room that is no internet connection, room is ok, bed is firm and soft pillow no free breakfast the good thing they have elevator.

Nice hotel, inexpensive, good staff and convenient location. Best hotel in this small town. Everything was clean and well maintained. Nice restaurant in the ground level of the hotel. Free breakfast with room, snd good food and service. Nice room,(bed, desk, tv) with the only thing missing was a small refrigerator. Good bathroom with all the amenities and nice hot water. Located in the center of town by the Metro store and with plenty of places to eat in short walking distance. Would gladly stay there again.
