2-Star Hotels in Marlborough, New Zealand

The rooms are large, and the shower and kitchen are clean. It's just a few minutes from the ferry. The train station is right next door, so you can sometimes hear it at night. I can recommend it.

Privately owned, friendly owners. The room was roomy and clean. There is a sitting area out the back patio doors which was good. The outdoor furniture is a bit older. The bed and linens were good for a 2 night stay. We just needed a place to stay while we toured the area. Havelock where the postal boat tour is just a 35 minute drive away. There is a Countdown grocery store right across the street which was convenient. There are no restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel reception is very detailed, the location is very convenient, and the scenery is beautiful. The only thing is the power outage in the morning, which causes some inconvenience. Next time I come to New Zealand South Island, I will arrange to stay again.
