This room had dozens of beds, and the toilet was outside the room, but it was perfectly adequate and there was no queue. There were activities every night that you could join, which was great for meeting other solo travelers. However, the location requires a tram ride of about 10 minutes, so if you're not buying an Oslo Pass, you should really consider that. It's over a 30-minute walk.

Hotel location is very good, very close to the palace, 2 minutes walk. Our family of four is a family room, a door to enter, two separate rooms, each with two single beds. One of the rooms is equipped with a small kitchen. The small supermarket Rema 1000 is downstairs, very convenient. Free coffee, hot water, chocolate, microwave in the public area of the hotel, which is great. There are kitchenware plates at the front desk that can be used when cooking. The only bad thing is that the bath water is unstable, hot and cold, and the bath space is small.

It was an interesting stay. Reasonably good location. Entry and exit from the building was done through a Bluetooth app on the phone. There was zero interaction with the owners, so it felt a little weird. But I think every stay should have minimal facilities like a fridge and a kettle. You cannot call anything a homestay without access to the main parts of a home, like basic kitchenette or living room.
