Second stay, as I moved to a non smoking room. The mattress in this room was spring and not as good as my other room but it was ok. As I said in my other review, good products, good stay, it's not modern but it's comfortable. Very close to the station and food options within 5-10 minutes walk. Very helpful staff.

Booked a deluxe twin bed, the room is quite big, there is a sofa and a refrigerator, the room can see some sea views. The first floor is a bakery. You can also buy coffee. The bread is delicious and will be discounted at night. But pay attention! ! The hotel does not have a front desk staff! ! Look at Figure 5. Check in is like that, there is no front desk. Self check-in! ! Be sure to contact Trip.com before check-in, let Trip.com go to the hotel check-in code, and send it to you before check-in! ! This hotel is conveniently located just minutes away from the Wakayama train station. It has very good value for money. We stayed in a japanese style room. It had everything we needed and it was also pretty clean. Overall, I would happily stay here once more, if I ever were to go to Wakayama again

The hotel is very nice and still feels brand new, with a great location close to Kii-Tanabe Station. The staff were friendly, the check-in process was fast, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The laundry facilities, ice machine, and vending machines were all excellent. We also appreciated the free breakfast and complimentary coffee/tea in the afternoon. This hotel is highly recommended and perfect as a starting point for the Kumano Kodo journey. One suggestion would be to offer breakfast earlier or provide breakfast boxes for hikers starting early in the morning. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

A Japanese-built house next to Chaolai Station, although not as well-equipped as the hotel, but experiencing a Japanese-style homestay is the best choice, the boss is very kind, patiently explain the room rules, although the room is old, but the quilt bed is very comfortable to sleep, There is also a parking lot for parking, thank you boss for your hospitality
