2-Star Hotels in Okayama Prefecture, Japan

We had a wonderful stay at Petite Hotel Resort!! Right from the time we arrived (in the rain) they were immediately attentive to our needs, immediately telling me where I could park my rental car and the shortest way to get back. Despite his busy-ness, Hirohisa took the time to explain everything to us and made sure we were comfortable. The dinner served was pretty good and with generous portions. But what made it outstanding was the service and the narrations that we had about the various historic music players in the room and the stories of their history that were given by Hirohisa. He also took time to tell us about the individual dishes and with pride explained how everything was sourced from the surrounding region. The private bath was on the rooftop of the building, with a wonderful view of the night sky and surrounding hills. It was a pity that the sky was clouded over, else I'm sure we would have had a chance to do some stargazing while in the bath. This stay was definitely a highlight of this trip of ours to Japan, and we can definitely highly recommend staying at Petite in the beautiful town of Yubara. I stayed in a non-smoking single room. The room was clean and perfect. The front desk staff were also polite and left a good impression. The elevator was also close by. It's a little far from the station. It's not too far to walk, but because it was hot and I had luggage, I took the bus from in front of the station. It's just a short walk from the bus stop. The bus arrives quickly. It's right next to the Sanyo Shimbun building, so it's easy to find, and it's just one corner from the main road, so you don't have to worry about traffic noise. I think the location is good.

The location is nice. Although, I got a smaller room than I saw in the pictures, I couldn’t stand up straight because the roof was so low. Also, there was a short went to another room and I had to craft a curtain because the light from the other room shined straight on my face and you can’t sleep the other way around because there’s not enough room. Furthermore, even though I left my keys for the cleaners, they just left the clean towels and sheets outside my room and told me to do it and the key was left in my door. But the showers and toilets was nice and you have privacy which is nice.

It's a 5-8 minute walk from the station, but it's a hotel close to the station. There's a midnight curfew, but it can be adjusted by consulting with the front desk in advance. The free breakfast (limited quantity) is a nice touch. Amenities are limited; there's a toothbrush, but razors are extra. There was no hand soap, but perhaps body soap is used as a substitute? The room is clean, and the air conditioning is clean and powerful. It's an old building, but it's a good old-fashioned hotel.

Location is a key priority when traveling. This place fits that description perfectly. It is located just 5 minutes from Kurashiki Station, so the location is excellent. Nearby attractions include the Kurashiki Bikan District, Ario Shopping Mall, and Mitsui Outlets. It is convenient for getting around. Since the rooms are small, I recommend this place for those with minimal luggage.

Super convenient. Near to family Mart, there's a washing machine, breads served in the morning and steam buns morning and evening, popsicle sticks and drinks throughout the day. Near the station and convenient to make it your base for visiting around Okayama outskirts on day trips

Small chill hotel, 4min from the train station, free dinner in there evening. Booked this place because I wanted to go see the nearby bridge view - the hotel had great last minute availability and a free dinner after a day of sightseeing was a welcome surprise! I went to Kurashiki next morning and the direct bus leaves from a bus stop 2min away from the hotel - super convenient.

What a fantastic start to my second trip to Japan! I had such an amazing stay here. The place is peaceful and quiet, and I slept really well. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I loved the space and the town so much that I ended up extending my stay for another night. Highly recommend!

The facility itself is a little old, but there were many nice perks, such as a welcome drink and a light curry snack service. Considering the accommodation fee, it was a good deal.

環境、設施、位置尚可，離岡山站很近。但服務踩了大雷。我預訂了酒店晚餐，但當天計劃很晚回來，於是早上和餐廳/前台請求把我的晚飯打包好放入冰箱，我回來後用公區的微波爐加熱下即可。我甚至交出房卡説可以直接將晚飯放到房間的冰箱中。但遭到了拒絕，説規定是餐廳的食物衹能在餐廳內吃…..也不能把晚飯錢退給我。實在想不通這種奇怪規矩的邏輯在哪。現在是令和時代了還有這種毫不人性化的規定，顧客的錢就不是錢嗎。
