2-Star Hotels in Pest, Hungary

It was a tiny room, but it was pretty clean. It is sufficient to sleep one night before next flight/ train. The soundproofing is very poor there. And it seems that this hotel is popular for couples preferred ons - appropriate specific sounds were so loud in night that prevented me from sleeping

Terrace is awesome, staff friendly. Vacak the cat is awesome too. This hostel is a great option to spend some time on the island, had a good night sleep and it was clean. Often though staff can be missing from the reception during the stated reception hours, and nearby is more of a party scene with few quality dining options. The 400ft Costa coffee capsules aren't exactly good either, so there is some space for improvement compared to some of the newer hostels in town.

Excellent..Fantastic..everything perfect, the facilities , the food, and the wonderful and genuinely helpful staff. Staffed around the clock , with refreshments available at any time , and very welcoming on returning at night. Classified as Hostel but in my opinion it’s a beautiful different type of hotel., catering for teenagers or retirees, without over elaborating.  Location perfect, less than 5 mins from Metro , 10 mins bars and restaurants..everything else within easy reach eg tour buses etc… Truly great advert for the hospitality and friendliness of Budapest. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable stay, and especially over Christmas period, ( when a lessor level of service could be excusable.

I had a pleasant stay at this hostel. The location is very good – it’s close to the city center and easy to reach main attractions on foot. It’s especially suitable for solo travelers, as the atmosphere feels safe and comfortable. The cleanliness was also good, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place. However, the rooms were a bit warm, so this might be something to consider during the summer months. Overall, it was a positive experience.

For Hostel, I appreciate the quality and privacy it gives. Security is what I care the most and this hostel has it. I was never bother by anyone at all

The location is good, and the reception staff is very friendly and professional. If I have the chance to come to Budapest again, I would definitely like to stay here.

I had a pleasant stay at A&O Hostel Budapest. The service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Luggage storage facilities are available, which was very convenient. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

The bed was a bit dirty (with some small pieces of bread) and there was a yogurt in the trash bin when I first came. It's near the bus station and u got plenty of bus to take to get to city centre (20min). The shower and toilet are quite clean. Plenty of space to hang your clothes.

Great Spot for Travelers — Just Be Mindful of Dorm Life I stayed here during my trip and really loved the location — super central and easy to get around. The staff were welcoming and the place was clean, which I really appreciated after long days of exploring. The only downside was the shared dorm experience. One guest came back very late, turned on the lights, talked loudly on the phone, and unfortunately got sick in the bathroom. It made it a bit hard to get proper rest. Still, the hostel itself is great. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer quiet nights, a private room might be worth considering!

Nice small room perfect for sleeping after exploring the city the whole day. The neighbours don't make too much noise, the hotel is in the city centre so it's close to every major attractions in Budapest. It's also close to the subway. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. I recommend it for someone who wants to spend a weekend or longer in Budapest
