Anonymous UserEnjoyed our stay so much that we booked an extra night to rest and roam around before our flight. Super convenient access to the airport rail. Y13 exit has a ramp, escalator, and elevator. East Gate of Taipei Main Station, where Klook tours depart, is also just a short walk away so that was a big plus. My husband enjoyed the latte from the free coffee machine. Great beef noodle (Liu Shandong) and stinky tofu place (Ah Qua) also nearby. Highly recommended at the price point. Will stay again. Guests who have difficulty walking and using the stairs might want to reconsider.

Very cheap but definitely of good value. The rooms are spacious, just not that many amenities (but that’s totally ok for the price). The hotel is located next to the railway, but we didn’t have any problem sleeping.

Guest UserWe arrived around 12 a.m., and it was very easy to access the dormitory. The place was very clean, and the mattress was comfortable to sleep on. We didn't need to check in because the key card had already been prepared for guests arriving at midnight. Overall, it was a smooth and convenient experience. Highly recommended!

Momo&MeAs a solo traveler, this place is actually good. Its far from the MRT Sanduo Shopping District around 10 mins walk. There's also convenient store at the front of 85 Tower.
Staffs are really nice, they provide the full stuff of amenities & Toiletries such as hair dryer, coffee Tea, brush etc.
If I have the opportunity, I will difinitely stay here again.

來自香港的訪客❤️A delightful surprise! The decor was thoughtful, and although it's a three-story building, it has an elevator 👍🏻👍🏻 The interior had a subtle fragrance, like being in a high-end Thai massage parlor. Breakfast was provided, and the ambiance was beautiful!
The rooms were fully equipped and very welcoming! The cleanliness was five-star 🤩 There was a small pond and an inflatable duck, and in the morning, the chirping of birds provided natural sounds. The owner was also incredibly kind and friendly; she even prepared a delicious and exquisite takeaway breakfast for us when we went out early in the morning. We were very grateful to her 😍 It's a truly wonderful guesthouse!

After coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

After reading other reviews, I was prepared for the worst, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The pros are its excellent location, just a 5-7 minute walk to Alishan Railway Station. There's parking right in front, which is great for those driving. The breakfast restaurant they partner with is also really good! 👍👍👍 The downside is the poor soundproofing; you occasionally hear footsteps or people talking. However, since I was so tired, I fell asleep quickly, so it didn't bother me much. 🤣🤣🤣

Guest UserThe location is just around Ximending which is very convinient. The room was clean and the service is very good. Although wala masyadong amenities pero okay lang kasi lagi naman kami nasa labas. Free tubig din mag request lang.

Lawrence13The hotel is nice and has a basement common area equipped with a projector, dining table, sofa, and many amenities for travelers to relax. It’s a great space for solo travelers who want to rest or meet other travelers. There are kitchen utensils available for simple cooking, and a water filter is also provided.
The room is suitable for couples who mainly stay at the hotel at night while spending the daytime exploring Taipei. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Underground Street and the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

If you have ever stayed in a capsule hotel before, you know pretty much what to expect. The main drawer of this place is the location. Situated in the heart of Ximen, There are a lot of shops and places to eat that are within easy walking distance. The staff were very helpful upon checking are they created a very good first impression.
The capsules or pods or whatever you want to call them were average in terms of comfort. We stayed in a mixed dorm and the mattresses were very thin so none of us got the best nights sleep. Also the walls are very thin and anytime anybody moved or did anything throughout the night, the noise was very apparent.. however, we were aware of all of this upfront and it totally served its purpose in terms of giving us a place to lay our heads for a few hours before returning home the next day. There are little TVs and electrical outlets in your pod, and while there are USB outlets to charge your electrical devices, both of the ones in my pod did not work. Overall, I would stay here again but not if I was looking for something that offers a high level of comfort or luxury
