2-Star Hotels in Shanxi, China

My experience staying at this hotel as below. 1. They provide pickup and drop off from the train station. The day before the Inn contacted me to make arrangement for the pickup. Then they arranged to drive me back to station on the day I leave. Service was efficient and prompt. Much appreciated. 2. I was able to use the washing machine to wash come clothes which was much needed. Comb and toiletries were provided. So grateful for these little necessities as I left mine at the previous hotel. 3. The boss upgraded me to a bigger and better room because it was the low season. The kang bed was so comfortable and firm. I had the best sleep so far at this Inn. I'm so happy. 4. The Inn is inside the old city and practically next to one of the city gates. Very convenient for sightseeing old Pingyao city. 5. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Boss also gave me a bottle of vinegar. Wish I could take it back to UK with me. 6. The price of this Inn is also very reasonable and affordable. 7. Pingyao is a beautiful, ancient old city. Worth coming. I highly recommend staying here. This was a great place to stay. The owners were friendly, attentive, and recommended many places to visit in Datong. The accommodation was clean and the breakfast was delicious. It was conveniently located within walking distance of various tourist attractions. I traveled with 7 people, and Chuanshi Heyuan Homestay even helped arrange a van with a driver for my group. The van took us to the Yungang Caves and Hengshan Mountain. I was very impressed. If I return to Datong, I will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely amazing! I was a bit worried about the noise since the hotel is right in the middle of a food street. When I checked in, I casually asked what time the food street closed, and the lovely lady at the front desk immediately upgraded us to a room on the parking lot side – totally quiet, not a sound! Honestly, just finding a hotel at this price in this area is a win, so I didn't have high expectations. But the front desk and concierge staff were all so wonderful and accommodating with every request. Definitely a five-star review! 🥰🥰🥰

I usually never leave a review, but I wanted to share that the people whom work here are very kind! I arrived in the middle of the night and they suggested to pick me up from the trainstation. Upon arrival I received several free items (toothbrush, flipflops, sleeping mask etc). There are clean towels that you can use, soap/shampoo is also present. The room was very clean and the public area is very big. I was travelling alone but I saw that there were many games and options to watch tv etc. When asking for help for which bus to take, they offered to being me to the nearest busstation by car. Overall, a very good experience. Thank you for the kindness and all the help!

The plane at 7:30 in the morning, the boss was waiting for me at the front desk at 6 o'clock, and the service was very good. At 9 o'clock in the evening, the boss asked me if I had eaten hahaha Airport transfer/South Station transfer: five minutes away from Wusu Airport, you can sleep later next time and then leave

The B&B is conveniently located near the main road, making travel easy. It's clean, hygienic, and offers great value for money. It's also not far from Hongwuji restaurant, and the owner even provided discount coupons for it. Since we only had half a day to explore the ancient city, the owner recommended a main sightseeing route. We arrived at the B&B around 9 PM, and to make sure we caught the light show, the owner even drove us there on an electric scooter. The owner is genuinely warm and reliable – truly a highlight of our trip.

Our high-speed train arrived late and departed early, so staying here was incredibly convenient. We could see the hotel sign right from the high-speed rail station. You just follow the red pavement, cross the main road, and then turn right onto the hotel's street. When we checked in, there was a large group of retirees demanding free breakfast from the front desk, threatening to leave bad reviews if they didn't get it. We went out to grab some late-night food and they were still arguing, even making the young lady at the front desk cry. The next day, we walked past the front desk again and encountered two or more of them still yelling at passing staff. It was truly unbelievable; you shouldn't expect a 400-yuan experience from a 200-yuan hotel product. Our one-day trip to Linfen was great though – Hukou Waterfall, Lesser Western Heaven, and Guang Sheng Temple. It was a last-minute plan, and we were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend it to everyone!

The newly opened facilities are very new and clean. Be careful with the smell. The location is on the pedestrian street, and the windows are soundproof. The room is a bit small, the water is hot and cold and needs to be adjusted and repaired.

The location is excellent, right next to the train station. It's a 5-minute walk from the train station. The apartment is very new, including the beds. The service is excellent. The soundproofing isn't perfect, but it's a great value. Highly recommended.

The intelligent facilities are very good, especially the automatic curtains are very trouble-free, there are voice prompts to leave the room, clean and hygienic, the bathroom bath water is very good, the proprietress service is warm and thoughtful, praise.
