GGuest UserIsleta El Espino is nothing short of paradise. Although my family is originally from the U.S., we now live in Nicaragua, and this has been the most memorable experience we’ve had here. The view of Volcán Mombacho is absolutely breathtaking—especially from the pool, where you feel completely immersed in nature’s beauty.
The boutique hotel is intimate, featuring two cabins, a bungalow, and two upstairs rooms with spectacular views. Your stay begins with a private boat ride to the island, where you’re welcomed with a refreshing glass of fresh fruit juice.
The staff, all locals from the surrounding islands, are exceptionally knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
On our final day, we weren’t quite ready to leave, so we extended our stay until 3:30 p.m. for $20 per person, which was consumable toward food and drinks. I truly can’t recommend this place highly enough.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in the historical building with the patio and swimming pool. Very well designed, cosy and quiet hotel close to city center (as well as to Malecón). The staff is very supportive and friendly. Room was equipped with all necessary things for short staying. Pure water is available in the patio. Really enjoyed to stay there!
BBrandon MichaelThis hotel was amazing. It was right in the city of Grenada and it was very easy to walk to many places. The restaurants were fantastic and it has a really nice colonial pool with a beautiful pool. Stay here!!!!!!!!!
GGuest UserWe stayed one night at this charming boutique hotel and had the most wonderful time. We could easily stay for another night or two. When we arrived, we were greeted by the most friendly staff that made us feel at home. The hotel is beautiful, with a colonial style architecture and extremely good taste decoration. Very private, and small enough to make you feel immersed in the culture. Our room was the most comfortable of our whole stay in Nicaragua. It was very spacious with a huge bed and an amazing mattress. The room had direct access to the swimming pool and it was great just getting out of the room in the evening and enjoy a night swim. We were alone with the whole place to ourselves and it was the best experience! The location is perfect, very close to all main attractions and you can just walk around very easily. There are many restaurants, local shops and coffee places just around the corner. In the morning we were prepared a huge, delicious breakfast with fruit, amazing coffee (as usual in Nicaragua) and the best gallo pinto with eggs. Granada is definitely worth visiting, and staying at Hotel Boutique Adela made our visit even more enjoyable. We hope to be back soon.
