I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Uhland during my visit to Windhoek. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, yet it is close enough to the city center to reach the main attractions and restaurants within a short drive or walk. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and reliable Wi-Fi. Although the furnishings are somewhat traditional, everything was well maintained and functional. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep every night. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with transportation, local recommendations, or any questions I had. Their hospitality made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was another enjoyable part of the experience. The buffet offered a good selection of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, local specialties, and coffee, providing a satisfying start to each day. I also appreciated the hotel’s beautiful garden and outdoor swimming pool, which created a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Hotel Uhland offers excellent value for money. It may not be a luxury hotel, but its cleanliness, friendly service, convenient location, and comfortable facilities make it an ideal choice for travelers visiting Windhoek. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and affordable place to stay in Namibia.

I had a wonderful stay at Tilla’s Guesthouse in Windhoek. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and friendly attitude. The check-in process was quick and smooth, allowing me to settle into my room without any hassle. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. I also appreciated the secure parking area and the peaceful atmosphere, which made me feel safe throughout my visit. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and offered a nice variety of options. It was a great way to start each day before exploring Windhoek. The staff were always happy to help with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and any questions I had, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The guesthouse is conveniently located within a short drive of the city center, shopping areas, and several restaurants, making it an excellent base for both business travelers and tourists. Despite being close to the city, the property has a calm and relaxing environment that feels like a home away from home. A comfortable hotel with delicious breakfasts. The location isn't entirely convenient for the city center, but it boasts a large property with multiple pools. The on-site restaurants are open until 10 PM and offer tasty lunch and dinner options. Room cleaning is excellent. There's also a shopping mall with all sorts of stores within walking distance.

This place is a gem - convenient location in a safe/quiet neighborhood close to the city centre, clean and spacious room with kitchen and cooking utensils, free and secured parking, helpful and friendly owner, affordable rates. The place has no reception counter. To check-in, the guest has to arrange with the owner via phone or email prior to arrival. As I was on a long flight and I had no phone/data roaming in Namibia, I didn't see the owner's email and I was stuck outside the place without a way to get in. Luckily I drove to a nearby hotel and borrowed the phone to call the owner, and the owner (who actually lives elsewhere) came to open the door for me within 10-15 minutes. Next time if I come here again, I should contact the owner 1 day before arrival, so that the owner knows my arrival time and sends me the check-in instructions in time.

Landed and checked in late. Very quick, rooms were waiting. Great WiFi, clean, and helpful team. Breakfast was good both days, and we sorted out our Namibia trip in one day

Standard facility. Great location. Near to the international airport road. Breakfast was disappointing. Not advisable to include breakfast when booking. Otherwise, all other facilities were okay.

The hotel receptionist is kind and courteous, and there are welcome drink and wet towels available when checking in. The room is large and clean. Hotel location is good, next to large shopping malls and supermarkets, very convenient. For travelers who arrive in Namibia on the first day of a long journey by car, it is an ideal place to rest and prepare for a long journey afterward.

It took quite a while to walk to the supermarket. Also, there was construction going on during the day. There was a toilet that didn't lock. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable.

A very special place with a beautiful cactus garden. Nature magic, silence, wild animals in the area. The bed is comfortable. It is necessary a car to enter and out. I was without, and it is a problem. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable.

The overall experience of staying this time is not bad, I would give it a score of 70 points. The location of the hotel is quite convenient and the surrounding facilities are relatively complete. The room is generally clean and sanitary conditions need to be improved. The bed comfort was average and sleep quality was okay. Overall, the price/performance ratio is okay, but there is room for improvement.
