3-Star Hotels in Eastern Region, Iceland

This is a port in the eastern part of Iceland where you can wash your clothes! From the capital of western Iceland, it is just the middle point of travel. The clothes accumulated in a few days can be washed and dried before going to bed at night. Pay 1600 Icelandic coins (krona), use it casually. The one in front of me needs 4,000 Icelandic coins to wash once.

Location: Good, located next to the lake, with restaurants and attractions nearby Facilities: We stayed in a two-person room on the third floor. Centrally located close to domestic airport, gas station and supermarket. Hotel appears to be converted from an old building but is nicely maintained with a charming lobby. Room size is bigger than other Iceland hotels. Shower is only separated from toilet by a shower curtain, so bathroom would get a bit wet but not a big issue. Both dinner and breakfast are good. Better reserve for dinner as it gets busy. O sure washing machine is handy, although may need to wait a bit as there is only one machine. Staff are generally helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.

I was so happy that the Bestrahon entrance ticket was free when I used the Viking Cafe. They exchanged the entrance ticket for the number of people. The breakfast was also satisfactory... If the weather had been good, I would have seen the Aurora at the Aurora Mecca, but it was a shame.

There are not many hotels in Eilstadzi. This hotel is a choice of no choice. It is in the town. It is convenient to come on and travel, but the price is slightly more expensive than the hotel facilities.

The room was a bit small for my family of three. But the bathroom is very spacious. Room is also clean. Room does not have a kettle but there is a common pantry which was useful. The main issue was check in because the check in was not actually at hotel post itself but at the other hotel next door and instructions were not clearly given. We panicked a bit initially because we reached quite late and could not find a way to get into hotel post. Luckily we managed to call the hotel and was told that check in is in the other building.

It belongs to a family hotel. When it arrives, the boss puts the key at the door and takes it by name. The door is the famous Rainbow Road, and there is a restaurant next to it, which is very convenient. We chased the aurora here. The staff at the restaurant next to us suggested that we drive out a little bit, and it is easy to see without lights. We drove out for five minutes and stopped on the side of the road. We took a picture in a while. It was not a busy trip.

Facilities: All available, except that there is no washing machine. The room has heating. Hygienic: very clean Environment: beautiful! 20 meters to the lake, the mountain. The picture is the view of the house terrace. Service: Very good.

This place suited us for one night. We were only two people sharing the quadruple room. I think with four people it would feel very cramped. Good service and easy check in:)
