An older hotel, but the facilities are still complete and the room was pretty clean. You can't expect too much from an old hotel. It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

The room was incredibly spacious and exceptionally bright. The breakfast spread was generous and absolutely delicious. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They even had a robot deliver breakfast vouchers and disposable cups to our room promptly. Even the housekeeping staff were attentive, proactively asking if we needed our room serviced. Complimentary parking was a huge plus. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. Vienna Hotel will definitely be my top choice for future stays.

This was without question one of the most beautiful and memorable stays I have ever experienced.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness, warmth, and attention to detail were exceptional throughout our stay. Every interaction felt sincere and heartfelt, which made the experience even more special.
The property itself is stunning. Surrounded by mountains and nature, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a true escape from everyday life. The infinity pool was absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Swimming while overlooking the mountains felt like something from a dream.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail had clearly been carefully considered, and the views from the room were spectacular.
The breakfast and afternoon tea were another highlight. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and presented with great care. More importantly, you could feel the effort and hospitality behind every meal. It wasn’t just food—it was an experience that reflected the passion and dedication of the team.
What truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt cared for and at home.
I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses, but this place is truly special. If you are looking for beautiful scenery, tranquility, exceptional service, and a memorable experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!

I expected the special offer room to be run-down, but it far exceeded my expectations. While the facilities are a bit dated, the hygiene was exceptionally good. The sheets and duvet covers were clean and odorless. The hotel opens right onto the beach, making it perfect for morning and evening strolls along the boardwalk.

ani0288The room was spacious and bright, with a clothes rack. We parked right downstairs, and our window offered a lovely sea view of the pier and beach – they call it a 'side sea view' room, I believe. There's a small gate from the hotel that leads directly to the beach, but you need a resident's card to use it. Otherwise, you can walk out through the main community entrance, which takes about 7 minutes and is very close to the bathing area. The community has restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's also a supermarket at the community entrance where you can rent swimming rings, or you can rent them at the beach – both are 10 yuan for unlimited use. The sand at Golden Coast Bathing Beach is quite fine, as expected for part of Nandaihe Golden Coast.

ShengshiwuchaoThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and next to a subway station, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful; they saw we had a child and gave us a complimentary upgrade, and even sent fruit to the room. Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended.

2morrowsworldExcellent hotel with great facilities and well furnished rooms that utiliss smart technology throughout. The Trip. com reservation included buffet breakfast, which was very good. A huge variety on offer with brewed coffee. The hotel offers various services which I found especially helpful. I had some documents to sign which required printing some A4 pages from a file on a mobile device and this was no problem - the reception were able to use Bluetooth. Very convenient!
The hotel has a small gym with two treadmills and bike, which I made use of. The exercise bike in particular is high quality with a strong frame and steady resistance which provides a good workout. Adjacent to the gym is a laundry with high quality fast operating washing machines and a dryer -very convenient during winter. The laundry also features a comfortable sofa and table as well as a steam cleaner/press.
The room itself is modern with some state of the art lighting, a smart sensor toilet, smart TV, ss well as electric powered curtains that opened out to a large window. The king bed was supremely comfortable with the necessary bedside controls and electric sockets.
The hotel can be reached by foot from the train station in about 25 minutes. Overall this hotel is one of the best I've experienced on my trip in China and it is highly recommended if staying in Zhangjiakou.

Facilities: The room is big enough, a luxurious room from 15 years ago, with old and outdated facilities.
Service: The service is OK
Hygiene: Average, the noodles are OK
What needs to be complained is still the breakfast. Although it is included, there is nothing left when I went there at 8 o'clock. There are only a few pickles and two cold dishes, which are also the bottom, and there is no staple food. After everyone's strong reaction, some quick-frozen bean buns came up, which were all cold and not heated through, and they had to be snatched. And there were no basic eggs, at least one per person, and the waiter said we didn't have eggs.
The restaurant waiter said that there were too many people and the food couldn't be cooked, but how many people stayed every day and the front desk didn't communicate, don't they know how many people eat?
Free bathing is not bad!

The hotel is clean and simple, a bit far from the city center which is super good because is very noisy and ugly. The only problem was that the first day we were waked by a kid shouting and a lot of people communicating by shouting. The second day there were two ladies at 6 in the morning shouting. Very annoying but the hours we slept were super comfy
