GGuest UserEvery year, I come to Bird's Nest for a few days. Even though I'm quite afraid of small animals, the mountain scenery is truly beautiful. I've stayed at Egret and Eagle before, and this time I'm in Phoenix Terrace. The pool is gorgeous, and the Thai food is delicious, but the prices seem to have gone up again! One thing was quite annoying: one day, we called a car to go for breakfast. We waited at the pickup point for nearly ten minutes. When the car arrived, the three of us stood up and walked a few steps towards it, when a tour guide aggressively yelled, 'This car isn't for you! Only hotel guests can ride it!' My husband, still good-natured, told him, 'We are hotel guests, and we booked the car.' But the guide, still very strong-willed, retorted, 'You can't take this one!' He startled my daughter, who was walking in front! If I hadn't wanted to spoil the day, I would have asked him to speak properly and why he was being so rude early in the morning! Later, the driver, after checking on the walkie-talkie, called us back to the car. The tour guide took 4 or 5 tourists aside to explain something; they didn't even look like hotel guests. It was quite frustrating! I reported the incident to the butler, who explained that the guide was from the scenic area, not the hotel. He also offered a late check-out, but we were rushing to our next hotel, so we declined. Although the tour guide was technically right that it's a car for hotel guests, we didn't do anything wrong. Being yelled at for no reason, I really hope they can train their staff better. When you finally get a holiday, everyone wants to have a good time!

GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable. We had two adults and two children, and the two 1.5-meter beds were spacious enough for us all. The double sink in the bathroom also provided plenty of space. The breakfast restaurant is directly below the lobby and features a wall-sized aquarium with various tropical fish, which the kids absolutely loved. One side of our room overlooked the pool, and we could see the sea of Yalong Bay from the hallway just outside our door. The beach was very close, only a 7-8 minute walk away. Customer service agent Xiao Min was incredibly enthusiastic; she even brought us a cake and a check-out gift during our stay. We happened to be there during a typhoon, so the kids got to watch plenty of TV in the room! 🙈

GGuest UserOur stay at Wanda Realm during this Sanya trip far exceeded our expectations! The hotel is situated in a prime location in Haitang Bay, just a few minutes' walk from the pristine white sand beach, and the ocean views are absolutely stunning. We booked a sea-view room, and the scenery was fantastic, plus the room was spotless. The breakfast spread was also very generous. Our butler, Linna, provided exceptional service as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.

GGuest UserHaving experienced the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay, and considering our itinerary, I decided to try the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The day before our check-in, Kaylee from guest relations proactively contacted me to confirm the details and made thoughtful arrangements for us. 👍
On the day of our check-in, it was pouring rain in Haitang Bay. We were stuck with our luggage in the duty-free shop, watching the rain show no signs of stopping. I contacted Kaylee to ask if the hotel could send someone to pick us up. Kaylee informed me that the hotel didn't have vehicles that could go to the duty-free shop. However, the hotel staff later sent umbrellas for us, helped us move our luggage to the hotel's side entrance, and then the hotel shuttle took us to the lobby. 👍
The hotel lobby is much larger than the InterContinental Sanya Dadonghai, and the overall scale feels comparable to the Westin Wanning/Lingshui.
The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fruit was delicious, and the room was equipped with Baishui Mountain mineral water, with Pure Enjoyment still water for refills. During our stay, whenever I contacted Kaylee, she responded immediately and acted quickly, even when she was off duty, which was impressive! So nice! 👍
Before coming, I learned that the hotel has a large fish tank with many fish, including sea turtles and manta rays. So, I took my child to the viewing tunnel on B2. My child was deeply fascinated by the fish, especially when they saw a giant grouper. My child blurted out, ”Look, fish 2.0!” I was puzzled, and my child explained it was like ”oil tanker 2.0,” with a bunch of smaller fish (like planes) following it. 🤭 We also saw a mermaid show. However, due to the distance of the performance area and limited visibility at the bottom of the tank, we could only see silhouettes. Fortunately, there were pictures of the mermaid show on the tunnel wall, which allowed me to explain it to my child in detail. The entire tunnel wall was covered with科普资料 (scientific information) about various fish, allowing for both viewing and learning. 👍 The tunnel also had multiple observation windows, so you could find your best viewing angle. 👍
The hotel boasts a vast lawn. Looking out, the skyline, the ocean, the greenery, and the lawn were truly refreshing. 👍
The waves in Haitang Bay are indeed strong and powerful, far exceeding those in Wanning and Lingshui. The beach quality is much better than Yalong Bay. We even encountered crabs during the day. 🤗
The breakfast restaurant was spacious, with ample seating. Even during peak hours, we didn't see guests waiting in line. The breakfast spread was rich, and they even offered specialty Xinglong coffee.
The lobby staff were enthusiastic and all smiles. Seeing us with our luggage, they proactively helped us move it. 👍

GGuest UserThe room with a sea view was absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. A special thank you to Ms. Coral for arranging such a satisfactory room for me! Yalong Bay is perfect for those who prefer peace and quiet, and the hotel is just a five-minute walk to the beach, making it ideal for families with young children. I used to always visit Yalong Bay, but this time I tried a hotel in Haitang Bay. While it was newer, it was a bit further from the beach and more suited for families with older kids and a livelier atmosphere. Personally, I much prefer Yalong Bay! The only downside of this trip was Wuzhizhou Island. The hotel there was incredibly old, and we barely saw any other guests in the corridors, yet the staff claimed it was fully booked. Later, out of curiosity, I learned that Wuzhizhou Island only has about 250 rooms open to guests at any given time, so who exactly was staying there? It was quite creepy, and I felt like we were the only ones on our floor… I barely slept all night because the mosquito coils were completely useless, and my child kept getting bitten by mosquitoes. Just how many mosquitoes were there?!

Environment: The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Downstairs is a park with excellent greenery, and the surrounding area is very convenient.
Service: The staff were warm and thoughtful. They helped us upgrade our room type and were very responsive to all our requests. The robot delivery for items was also very quick. Oh, and the washing machine and dryer are fantastic for travelers – Atour really thinks of all the customer's needs. The pillows were the most comfortable out of the four hotels I stayed at on this trip; I even ordered some when I got back!

GGuest UserThis is a courtyard-style hotel, beautifully situated halfway up the mountain. Robert checked us in with excellent and incredibly patient service, explaining all the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. I was extremely pleased with the room upon entering; it was wonderfully cool and comfortable because the air conditioning had been turned on in advance. The room was also very spacious, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Any service we needed was promptly delivered by staff, and even our takeaways were brought to the room by a robot! The hotel felt very safe and secure. I saw a swimming pool below my room, but unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to enjoy it. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

XXinzaiyaoyuanDespite a few minor hiccups, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was efficient, and they were very responsive to our needs. The pool access room was fantastic – having the balcony open directly to the pool made for a lot of fun in the water. The hotel is also super close to the private beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Catching the sunrise over the ocean in the morning was absolutely stunning, with the orange glow spread across the water, creating an incredible atmosphere. The environment is quiet and comfortable, making it a top choice for a relaxing getaway. I'd definitely choose this place again.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with this hotel, it's definitely a hidden gem in Yalong Bay offering incredible value for money! The best thing about this hotel is how convenient it is to go for a swim at the beach, and the public beach area is also beautiful. The 'glass sea' in Yalong Bay is truly stunning and so clear! On my first day swimming, I saw little fish swim past me! What an incredible experience! The breakfast was also very good! I will definitely be back to this hotel!!
