This is definitely the best resort in Manado. Although it is a little far from the city (but the absolutely beautiful sea view must be far from the city), it has its own pier and dive shop. Who knows my family, why there are no Chinese people staying here. I went to stay at 2 pm, and I arrived more than an hour early. There were welcome drinks and sandwiches (I really didn't expect sandwiches), which was very considerate. The resort is small but very beautiful, with a very, very good sunset, and saw the blues moment. I booked a waterfront room, and the sea is right outside the door. It was suffocating. The sea view from this place is absolutely stunning. I stayed here for two nights in Manado as a layover before going diving in Raja Ampat. I arrived at the hotel at 7 AM on the day of check-in and was able to pay an extra 250,000 IDR at the front desk for an early check-in, and they even upgraded my room. On the day I left, my flight was at 8 PM, and I paid another 250,000 IDR to extend my check-out until 4 PM. Overall, everything was great, and the front desk service was excellent. However, the bathroom felt a bit old and run down, probably because the hotel itself is older and the bathroom maintenance hasn't been great. There's an Italian restaurant downstairs called Amicoo which was quite good, although the service was a bit slow.

There is another diving resort Yos next door. There is a small fishing village across the road. First the service was bad, we ordered 3 french fries and 1 banana fritter at the pool, only arrived 2 french fries ( 1 french fries and banana arrived 1 hour later, they brought in the room). Second, no information about the breakfast policy for kids. After we enter the dining area while the kids having their breakfast suddenly the staff comes and informed us that we must pay extra for the kids. And we said, no information about that, the staff said it is on the breakfast voucher which the font super small and no one can read that. Next time better, but I dont think staying in this hotel again near future. Despite the facility, the service was bad.

In the morning need to provided 2 elevator, so elevator doesn’t need to use stairs. It’s not good! Cos planty people going up and down for breakfast. If is just one elevetor it’s chaos.

I stayed here for a night. If you’re looking for a hotel with “unique” experiences, this one’s for you! The check-in was smooth, and the bed was decorated with abstract stains – perhaps part of the charm? Luckily, no soap to wash away the memory in the room. When asked, the staff, oh so polite, reassured me that the soap “could be conditioned” – whatever that means! And, the cherry on top: a delightful three-minute delay for a room check, just to make sure I didn’t snag a complimentary pen. I left feeling like a lottery winner who hit the jackpot of mediocrity. Truly a stay to remember! 🎉
