Room's window is directly facing office building. Not sure if people can see us from the outside. Need to remember to close the curtains whenever we are in the room. Other than that, room is OK.
The room used was clean and tidy with a large bathroom with the shower over the bath. Room amenities were basic with the in-built heating system requiring a boost from the supplied portable tower heater during my winter stay. Entering the hotel for the first time I particularly noticed you had to negotiate, with your bags, two sets of doors and steps to reach the reception desk. One could imagine some frail or elderly finding the access a challenge.
House staff were friendly and available and promptly attended to the malfunctioning fridge in my room. Paid parking is immediately next to the hotel but uncovered. While it is not difficult to get to the establishment it has few facilities and restaurants in close proximity and people with mobility issues could have difficulties if wanting to walk to such establishments. If mobile, getting to eateries and other establishments could be a pleasant walk if time is on your side.

We are an 65. We can't turn on the TV if you say down load an app. I fancied about throwing the remote at the TV after 2 hrs of trying.
How can i SIGN INTO MY OWN UTube or sign into my own NetFlix. IF I DONT HAVE IT...
WAS NOT HAPPY.
We were getting the ferry in the morning.
We came down at 7.20am in the hope to get breakfast and the place was closed up. No breakfast ?
When we arrived a young girl took my $35. For the parking and said we could come back in the morning if we wanted.. if you want to park your car it very safe but watch the door closes at night so someone has to get out to open in on the busy rd. You need to park on foot path and it's a tight turn in if you have a big ute like us.
Shower was the best part of the room.
Bed was very high as was on a HIGH wooden bottom. Everything was very clean and tidy.
I guess we are not used to going to a hotel that has no reception to ask about the TV.
Not sure if we would return.

The staff were friendly and the accommodation was good.
However, there was not much parking space, so I parked on the street.
Also, there were not many amenities around the accommodation and it was a bit far from the city center, which was disappointing.
The hotel is quite good and rooms were clean. The staff are nice and friendly. It's very near the beach, just 5 minutes' walk. Really fantastic journey!

We needed somewhere cheap and cheerful before the ferry. This was fine and good value for the $ paid. Lovely receptionist who was very helpful.
Actual room dated and tired, and could hear street noise. But it did the job and was cheap and felt secure for the area.
Absolutely loved this place from the moment we arrived - we were upgraded to a room in the hotel despite booking a garden room.
Our room was gorgeous, lovely French Doors onto a balcony that goes all the way round the hotel.
The attention to detail was incredible.
I can’t recommend it enough!

刘刘Hotel location is very good, in the center of Wellington, the parking lot is on the upper floor, to go up a steep slope, parking fee 15 NZ / day. The interior decoration is a bit antique and has a sense of history. The downside is that I arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve, and the front desk was closed (should be at 7 pm), saying that I sent an email to me, but I didn't find it in fact. Still the cleaning guy, contacted me, opened the key box, and got the key.
AAvenJWI recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The location is excellent—right near the town center, which made it very convenient for dining and shopping. Despite being so close to everything, the hotel was quiet and comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a busy day.
The hotel itself was very clean and well looked after, with all the facilities you’d expect for a comfortable stay.

GGuest UserThe staff were very friendly, welcoming & very efficient. They took the time to go out of their way to make us comfortable.
The lift & room was just a little bit older around the edges, but still very good! The bed was heavenly-soft & lovely, we just wish we'd had time to rest & relax more than one night in Wellington!
GGuest UserHad an amazing stay .concierge to reception staff very friendly and professional. Wish we stayed longer. Having a pool and gym on site was a bonus, too.handy to restaurants and cafes.

YYUNSHENGMy daughter said that the hotel we booked this time is the favorite, the surrounding environment is beautiful, quiet, very close to the city and tourist attractions. Go to the museum, the Capitol is more than 20 minutes walk. Mount Victoria is just behind the hotel and it is 1200 meters walk. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Wellington and the scenery is beautiful. Going to Cuba Street, convenience stores, and supermarkets are very convenient. Because we don't have a car and don't want to take the bus, it is very convenient to choose here. I can walk to any attraction. The boss is very warm and kind. He said, ”He and the Chinese have worked together for ten years, just like a family.” What moved the words, he is very kind and friendly to the Chinese, and he gives it daily. We have prepared a free breakfast, we have to stay here for ten days, my daughter likes it very much, safe and hygienic. The kitchen in the restaurant can also be used free of charge. You can buy food and cook for yourself. It is a good place to take your children to travel. When I first came to check in, we took out the documents and showed them to the boss. He said cheerfully, ”No need to look, I know who you are,”. I think he may be a Chinese character with the Chinese for a long time. You don't need to go through any formalities to stay here, it's as simple as going home. We also choose here for the next vacation.
MMC PeteRooms at end of corridor on other side to China Street appear to be able to connect with the room opposite the corridor. However there is clearly insufficient sound proofing between them. Because I was a bit annoyed to receive a phone call from the desk around 10.30pm to pass on i presume the guests in that room, complaining of the noise from my room. I was alone and watching TV at a deliberately low volume that I simply cannot believe was annoying the guests next door. I could just hear it from INSIDE my room so it must have been barely audible next door. Despite poor sound proofing.
But worse than that it seems they also accused me of smoking as the desk also passed on this complaint. However, MUST have been from another room or maybe even from the street if they had their window open. Why? I don't smoke so by definition not me!
XXingzhewuyuanfujieThe location of the hotel is a bit difficult for self-driving people to find it for the first time. After following the navigation, they missed the import and then turned around to find it. In fact, the location is still very convenient, all kinds of restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations are close at hand, walking distance. Parking is free and very convenient.
PPattersonAlways thoroughly enjoy my stay here. Very convenient, a step away from central Courtenay Place. Parking is convenient and easily accessed. Rooms are fully equipped with kitchenette that has its own dishwasher/cooktop/fridge etc. super comfy bed and nice little balcony. Really nice open plan bathroom/wet room and lighting is great for dolling up! It’s the PERFECT spot for a night out on the town. Always will be booking here for when I am needing to spend my night in Central Wellington for events. Christian H at the counter is a very nice and welcoming work colleague.
