The hotel's overall performance was really hassle-free. While the facilities aren't luxurious, they are perfectly functional. The USB charging ports by the bed were especially convenient, and the hairdryer had plenty of power, so I didn't have to wait long to dry my hair after showering. The cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding felt crisp and soft, the bathroom's glass door was spotless with no water stains, the toilet was clean and odorless, and even the trash cans were tidied up very well. The environment was very pleasant, with a small garden downstairs for a simple stroll. The room's soundproofing was good, so I wasn't disturbed at night. The service was particularly thoughtful. I forgot my charger when checking in, and the front desk helped me find a compatible one to borrow. When cleaning the room, they even neatly arranged my water glasses. These little details really added to the experience. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town.

Room had beautiful river and city views. Was actually better than the pictures online. Breakfast location: High ceilings and full windows overlooking the city and river. Spacious. Great selection of different cuisines. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

I chose the hotel based on reviews, renovation date and location. I had little time - returning from another city in China, so everything matched for this place. The hotel is on the 3rd floor, below are retail premises. The entrance is not very noticeable. There seems to be a hall, but it looks more like a walk-through room. The room is large, clean, the equipment is new. New large TV. The shower is fenced off, the floor is stone, and there is a drain for water. The toilet seat is heated )))). The washbasin is located at the entrance. But there is no closet. Hanger. This is not very convenient, since there is no space to put things outside. All the linen is new and clean, the bed is large. The curtains open and close when entering and exiting the room. The view from the windows, both on one side and on the other, is not very good. Either a shopping street or a construction site, so the windows can only be opened at night. I have not tested how the air conditioner works. But in hot weather in this situation you can't do without it. Breakfast is not bad, you can find something to eat. I liked the hotel for my needs in general, but the price is obviously due to the location.

The location is also superb, just a few minutes' walk from the nearest subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. This entire stay was absolutely perfect – a definite five-star experience! I wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The moment we arrived at the hotel entrance, a bellboy promptly ran over to assist with our luggage, escorting us all the way to the front desk. This immediately made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. The front desk staff were very welcoming and efficient during check-in. As we hadn't opted for breakfast at the hotel, they thoughtfully provided detailed information about the operating hours of the nearby floating market, suggesting it as an alternative for breakfast options – an incredibly thoughtful gesture. The hotel's location is excellent. It's very convenient to visit popular spots like the 'Internet-famous Wall' and West Market. There are also plenty of dining options right nearby, including BBQ restaurants and Hailanjiang Stone Pot Rice. If you prefer not to venture far, the hotel itself offers a great selection of Korean, Western, and Chinese cuisine. The room facilities were also excellent, with comfortable bedding. Overall, I highly commend the service here.

Very good front desk resolved an otherwise difficult issue for me. Big picture window in room provided wonderful view of city. Several small restaurants nearby. Starbucks coffee outlet across the street was very convenient for me. Breakfast was not provided by this trade hotel, but I was otherwise very pleased with this accommodation.

The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. The rooms are clean, and the facilities are very new. We booked a family room with two 1.5-meter beds, which was very spacious. The bedding was comfortable, with body-conforming mattresses and both latex and cotton pillows. The best part, which most hotels don't have, is the remote-controlled retractable drying rack – it's excellent! Finally, I had a place to hang the small items I wash daily, no more trying to find chair backs or table edges to hang things on. Super nice! There's also a washing machine in the room, but no detergent; I assume staff could provide it if needed. It was very quiet at night, ensuring excellent sleep. On the 13th floor, there's a small fitness and recreation area with two smart treadmills and a pool table, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money. Third, the location is superb, situated in a bustling commercial district with convenient transportation, including subway and bus access. Fourth, the breakfast quality is guaranteed, with a full selection of both Chinese and Western options – everything you could want. Finally, a huge thanks to the housekeeping for their exquisite service. Not only did they bring fresh fruit daily, and thoughtfully provided mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival, but they also unexpectedly washed my socks! I'm incredibly grateful!

This time we visited the north slope of Changbai Mountain. Staying in Erdaobaihe is convenient for shopping (it's too cold outdoors) but not ideal for mountain access. So, we opted for the DoubleTree (a bit pricey for the value). It's located less than 2km from the north slope entrance. The VIP pass provided upon check-in means we're not restricted by the park's entry times. There's a shuttle from the hotel to the park gate, you just need to register at the concierge desk after checking in – very convenient. Reviews usually start with the positives before the negatives. **Praises:** 1. The lady who checked me in (forgot to check her name tag) had an excellent and appropriately enthusiastic service level. She explained everything clearly. 2. The hotel breakfast was great, with a good selection of both Chinese and Western options. There were plenty of choices, two coffee machines, and even ice available. 3. I stayed on the top floor, and my balcony faced east, offering beautiful sunrise views. 4. The hotel environment is fantastic, nestled in the woods. The scenery after a winter snowfall is stunning, giving it a jungle cabin vibe. **Areas for Improvement:** 1. Two days before check-in, the hotel contacted me to ask if I needed butler service. This is a great initiative, but the young lady who called sounded very reluctant, almost like she didn't want to make the call. Either it's a staffing issue or a training one. 2. The hotel isn't old, but the shower drain had a pretty strong odor, especially when dry. It improved after showering for a while and the water flushed it, but the next morning the smell was quite noticeable again. 3. I don't understand why the hot spring building is separate from the main hotel. You have to walk outdoors to get to it. While it can't be changed now, this design feels a bit inconvenient and poorly thought out.

The Grand Hyatt Changchun is probably the best hotel in Changchun. First, my complaints: Honestly, the design is illogical. The driveway from the car entrance/exit to the lobby is a tiny, U-shaped hairpin turn! The public area of the lobby has no sofas, so a bunch of people were standing around waiting to check in! The underground parking garage is practically for expert drivers only! It was the National Day holiday, and we booked two king rooms. One room's key card was ready at 3 PM, but the other wasn't available until 5 PM. Last year during the National Day holiday, the InterContinental Taiyuan's efficiency was far, far better than the Grand Hyatt Changchun. Now, for the praise: The decor is very new, the rooms are spacious, and having the toilet and shower separate is a huge plus. The facilities are also very new, and the bedding meets Grand Hyatt's high standards. When they couldn't free up a room, they upgraded us. A senior manager in the lobby, who spoke fluent Cantonese, was excellent at communicating and managing the situation. Her attitude was very good, and she handled issues promptly. I hope the hotel can improve its service efficiency and optimize processes like check-in, public areas, and luggage service. Ultimately, if you come to Changchun, I still recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt Changchun. It's centrally located, and the facilities are great. I give it five stars. However, try to avoid coming during holidays; your experience might be better on weekdays.
