GGuest UserI enjoyed staying at this hotel with my family and friends. It is situated on top a small hill on one end of Shengshan Island. Staff can pick you up from the island’s dock and drive you to the hotel - which is great if it is super hot or if you get seasick on the ferry ride (1 hour from Shanghai, 3.5 hours from Ningbo) from the China mainland. The hotel has impressive rooms with large bathrooms / a tub, showy / “baller” furniture, and thrilling views of the sea. Our room had a 270 degrees view - we received a free room upgrade from the generous hotel. The hotel has a solid morning breakfast (not buffet) included in the room rate. Soft drinks and beers can also be bought. The hotel has an outdoor pool and it is next to a seaside road that can serve as a running route (there is a running path part of the way). One length of the island, from the hotel to the East Cliff, is about 5.25 km one-way. The run is more undulating (hilly) than you might expect, but it is not too bad. Bring suntan lotion if you go in the summer. I’d say 2-3 nights is enough to get the full experience. This is a really strong hotel considering that it is in a small market and that the whole island is a bit isolated. I am glad I went and am happy to recommend if you decide to give it a try.

GGuest UserI only remembered to give a good review after being home for a few days. Hahaha, the boss's sister cooks very well and is also very nice. The room is cleaned very cleanly. Except for the bad weather on the two days I was there, I was still very happy.
