"I cannot say enough good things about this place. We were in Tromsø for over a week, and this was the perfect home base for us. The rooms are clean, neatly appointed, and exactly what you want. The lighting is really well done, very important during the polar night. The beds are incredibly comfortable. I am still dreaming about the water pressure in the shower. We were able to do laundry, which was great since our luggage was delayed. We had a six year old, so being able to cook our own meals with the kitchen allowed us to easily feed her and saved us money. It's also helpful because with jet lag, you may be hungry at 4am. There is a coffee machine in the lobby accessible 24/7, which was great. The heating is well-done, and the windows open for fresh air. We found that the photos we saw online are very representative of what we found when we arrived in terms of the rooms, etc, except that it was actually a little cozier (the lighting is nice and warm white). The wifi was consistent and strong. There are TV's, which you can sign into your streaming apps on. One flag is that you should sign off your accounts before you leave. The staff is amazing. The front desk people were all very helpful when we were trying to get taxis or had questions. And they didn't mind our kid coming down to steal cookies from the lobby. The cleaning staff is wonderful. The rooms are very clean and they were really nice and responsive when we needed to get rid of garbage or restock something. The gym is huge and way nicer than expected. Also great in the arctic. We chose this place over a more traditional hotel because of all of the amenities, and we were not disappointed. This is not located in the city center, but it's a short walk to there (about 10 minutes or so depending on weather). There is a supermarket a few minutes away, which is very convenient. The location is very good, and it is also kind of up on a hill, with nice views."

"We booked this room type but weren't actually assigned it. We only realized the room was wrong after we carried our luggage upstairs to the room. When we went back to the front desk, they said they could change it, but they showed no remorse. We were too lazy to bother, so we didn't change it. There was no refrigerator, and the heating was broken."

"I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade this time! The room facilities were basic, but it had everything I needed, and I especially loved the view of the snow-capped mountains! There was also daily housekeeping (including changing the trash). Breakfast was from 7-10 am (the information on Ctrip was incorrect), but they also offered complimentary cookies and croissants near the reception area. I had to catch an early morning flight, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a packed breakfast the day before – bread, simple sandwiches, yogurt, and salad – a pleasant surprise! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; aside from the uphill walk with my suitcase (which could be a detour), it was perfect. I would definitely consider staying here again!"

"The hotel is in a fantastic location, a 3-minute walk from the city center and 3-5 minutes from all tour meeting points. Tromsø is very safe, and the apartment itself is apparently newly renovated, very clean and simple, with a very Nordic feel. All the essentials are included, even coffee, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Staying in an apartment in Tromsø is a great option, allowing you to cook meals with fresh ingredients for days! Feel free to leave a message to let the hotel know if you need anything extra, or if you need to arrive early. It was a perfect stay!"

"Dishonest establishment which preys on tourists, knowing that they have little recourse. I would advise to avoid all Enter Tromsø branded accommodation at all costs. They promised a refund of the damage deposit of 2000 NOK within two business days but failed to deliver. When I went to their counter for answers after one week, they claimed that they had forgotten to release the deposit and would do so immediately. Two weeks on, there is no clear resolution in sight. Should have sensed a red flag from the beginning when the receptionist hastily asked for 5000 NOK deposit instead of the pre-agreed 2000 NOK. The only silver lining was that I lost 2000 NOK instead of 5000 NOK as I was able to produce proof of the pre-agreed rate on the spot. Please save yourself the stress and hassle of dealing with these frauds during your holidays and book other highly rated accommodations instead."
