"Our stay at Radisson Collection Galle was fantastic! The hotel boasts one of the best beachfront locations in Galle, with stunning ocean views and direct access to the beach. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the spa experience—it was incredibly relaxing and professionally done, adding a special touch to our vacation. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay. Housekeeping was occasionally a bit delayed, but it was only a minor issue and did not affect our overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Radisson Collection Galle to anyone looking for a luxurious beachfront getaway in Sri Lanka!"

"We had a great stay at The Owl and Pussycat. It is in a very serene location on the beach, with the sound of the ocean soothing you to sleep. The staff were incredibly helpful, able to book activities like a tour of Galle and a whale watching trip from Mirissa (incl transport). They were even so concerned about us paying an extra 3% on an activity because we were going to use a credit card that they offered to lend us cash and put it on the bill. The food was generally very good quality, though the service was a bit slow at times. We mainly ate there for dinner or when we were having an afternoon by the pool, so it was all fine. The rooms are spacious and have plenty of storage. Air conditioning was struggling as there was a heatwave, but the rooms were able to keep a pleasant temperature. They could improve by adding a power extension with some extra sockets and USB charging ports, as the sockets in our room were quite loose and our chargers fell out a few times. The location is very convenient for getting to sights like Turtle Beach, or grabbing one of the TukTuks outside and heading into Galle."

The room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. All the hotel facilities were also very well-maintained, exceeding my expectations. "We actually booked 'Caliza by Sea Cloud' but when we phoned to confirm we was told to come to Celestia instead. They are still listing Caliza on *********** even though it is undergoing major building work. Overall we was very disappointed with our stay here especially when the 5.45am train hurtled past right by the back fence hooter blaring due to the crossing a 100 metres away. When we queried how regular and late the trains would pass by we was told by the owner the last train is at 6pm, there is one just before 9pm. We was asked to pay before we had even been shown the room. It is not good value it is over priced for the location and breakfast not included. The room is a reasonable size, no mosquito netting. There is a kettle, no fridge. We reported that our toilet was leaking as there was a large puddle all around it we was told it was condensation. Funny, all the other places we stayed in didn't have that issue! There are lots of other nicer places to be found, l certainly would not recommend this place or Caliza. Fortunately we only booked for 2 nights."

"Rooms are fabulous and the place is perfectly maintained. Excellent food, too. There's a beach, but sea too choppy to swim, and behind, a main road. Short rides to Unawatanu or to Thalpe itself if you aren't happy to just relax in a great place."
