Hotels with Pools in Aklan

This is rhe 3rd time my wife and myself have visited the Henann Palm in Boracay to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we love it here. This is our favorite hotel in Borocay with lovely staff and this year we brought the family with us who also loved it here. We will be back in the future. Also last year we visited another Henann hotel in Panglao Bohol and that also was amazing. I wish Henann had hotels at all holiday destinations around the Philippines because we would definitely be staying at them when traveling around. We highly recommend Henann

I rarely write such long reviews, but this hotel truly deserves it. Crimson is a wonderful hotel in every sense of the word. It's situated in a quiet, peaceful location that offers complete privacy and seclusion – exactly what we were looking for. The hotel has its own private beach, which is clean, well-maintained, and never overcrowded. It felt like we had stumbled upon our own little paradise. The restaurants deserve a special mention. The food was absolutely delicious at all dining venues – a huge variety and excellent quality. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner – every meal was a delight. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. The team is incredibly attentive and warm. When we decided to extend our stay, we were pleasantly surprised with compliments and small gifts – we truly felt valued. And when my husband unfortunately fell ill during our trip, the staff went above and beyond to help – offering assistance, checking in on us, and making sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and professionalism were astonishing. And the pillow – it was incredibly comfortable. Honestly, I don't remember the last time I slept so well. Every night of our stay, I had a deep, peaceful, perfect sleep – no neck pain and no tossing and turning. Crimson has spoiled all other hotels for me – in the best possible way. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back.

So let's begin with the positives. The staff is excellent, beyond excellent they will go out of everything to make you feel accommodated. They are unbelievably attentive. Another positive aspect is its location which is literally right on the sand. Can't get much closer to the beach than this hotel. And did I mention that the staff was very accommodating? When you want to lounge on the beach, the staff will rush out immediately to position the lounges and put towels down. They truly work hard to assist your every need when you are on the beach. An improvement would be updated lounge chairs with cushions but you are not lounging on the sand unless you want to. So as I said, I want to start off with a positive but there are serious negatives about this hotel in fact to the point at which I would suggest booking a different hotel if at all possible. First on the list of negatives is that the food at the restaurant is less than mediocre. Yes you will get breakfast but in all honesty, you might just want to pass that up. Nothing is kept hot...nothing. Everything is served lukewarm or cold except for the eggs which they do make right away...the fresh cooked eggs is the only exception to luke-warm or in some cases even slightly undercooked food. However, what should be cold is never cold, for example even though the milk has a sign that says cold milk it is always room temperature as well as the juices. The cold milk is warm...always,,,,while the food that should be warm or hot is always cold or virtually well on its way to being cold. It's interesting that even though they have the small gas flame burners at the bottom of containers for food, they are never on. Additionally I would recommend that if you are not accustomed to luke-warm to cold Filipino style food again, you may want stay eat somewhere else because most of the food served is Filipino style and while Filipino food can be quite good, not here. Now for the accommodations. The rooms are at best motel style rooms with the AC blasting down on you constantly. Your only alternative is to turn the AC on and off throughout the night to get a break. The rooms themselves are rustic and extremely noisy because everything faces the courtyard and you have concrete surrounding you so it echoes in any conversation especially at night. Sound just echoes throughout the entire place. There is constant noise so bring your ear plugs. I will say, staff keeps everything very clean so no problems there at all. It's just that the entire facility is not well-designed or well maintained for most travelers' expectations. For example, The hot water in the shower it's turned on similar to a faucet bathtub style but the water literally trickles out (at least in my room). Fortunately you do get some hot water coming through the shower head and while it is barely enough to take a shower, it is not what you would expect at a hotel price. I selected this hotel because it has so many good reviews online and it has a lot of 10s out of10s. One site lists it as 4.9 out of 5, I thought that was great but after a few nights, I am convinced that these reviews are from the owners, owner friends or staff or perhaps all of them. It is completely beyond my imagination that this hotel can get those kinds of reviews especially as there are other hotels that are around to compare with. I have traveled a lot and this is probably not more then a five to six at most out of 10 and the only reason it's that high because of staff. Again....5.5 to 10 is my rating on this motel/hotel.

Mandarin is a very beautiful hotel with lovely friendly staff who made our stay wonderful. The breakfast buffet was great and the swimming pool was really nice and my wife and myself really enjoyed our time here and will visit again in the future. I recommend Mandarin

Very kind and helpful staff and very close to white beach station 1(3 minutes walk). Our family room was on the first floor with a balcony with pool view. Room is always cleaned on request and toiletries are always refilled. Shower pressure is good and air con works very well. Don't throw any paper in the toilet as it will get clogged for sure. Breakfast is filipino style, with rice, eggs and a meat or fish choice, very filling and tasty and you can choose it between many options. Also continental choices are available. So, even if you stay many days like us, you don't always have to eat the same. People working there are super kind and always offering extras like ”do you need an umbrella?” If it rains; free towels for the beach (or the swimming pool) Every floor has drinking water refilling stations, you won't receive free bottled water. Being the rainy season we found that white beach was 70% of the time windy with waves. 3 out of 10 times white beach was beautiful. So i will give you a tip, seen that we have been in Boracay for 14 nights. When you have wind from the southwest white beach will be wavy. In that case take an e trike to Ilig Iligan beach on the other side of the island and the water will be flat, clear and turquoise and beautifully transparent. I will attach also some pics of the area of willy's rock and white beach where the hotel is located and other pics of ilig iligan beach. I guess in the high season it will be the opposite and ilig iligan will be super wavy then.

Before our trip, we honestly thought Boracay might be a bit overrated because of all the mixed reviews and comments we had read. However, our stay at Belmont Hotel Boracay completely changed that perception. One of the things we appreciated most was having the best of both worlds. Whenever we wanted to experience the lively and crowded side of Boracay, we could easily head out and enjoy it. But after a long day at the beach and the busy tourist spots, it was always a relief to come back to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. Waking up every morning to a quiet and serene environment made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel gave us the option to choose between the vibrant energy of Boracay and a more exclusive, tranquil retreat whenever we wanted to unwind. Because of that balance, we genuinely enjoyed every day of our Boracay vacation. What we initially thought might be an overrated destination turned into a trip filled with wonderful memories, comfort, and relaxation. This is a trip we will always treasure—truly one for the books. Clean , friendly staff, big swimming pool and nd nice variety to dine in. I will come back again.

Our whole stay was great overall — we really enjoyed our time here! Check-in was a bit delayed at first because they hadn’t yet prepared the complimentary cake and birthday setup they promised, but it wasn’t a big issue at all. The lobby is lovely, smells fresh and clean, and we were served welcome drinks right away while we waited. The staff were generally polite and helpful too. I did witness one incident though: another guest was having a long discussion about not getting back their security deposit for their second room. It took a while, and the guest even asked to speak with a manager, but in the end it was sorted out and it turned out the guest was right all along. I’m just thankful nothing like that happened to us during our stay. Location-wise, it’s right on the beachfront — perfect! Our room was a bit of a walk from the shore, but honestly, we didn’t mind it at all. It gave us a chance to move around, get some steps in, or walk off our meals before heading back 😂 The room itself was very spacious and smelled nice, but we did encounter quite a number of mosquitoes and fleas — I ended up with a lot of bites! Thankfully I didn’t get sick or contract dengue, but I hope they can improve pest control, especially since the rooms are surrounded by greenery and a forest-like setting. The shower was also a little tricky to adjust the temperature and pressure, but manageable. What I really appreciated was their service: they constantly refilled our drinking water and even replenished all toiletries and supplies regularly, even if we hadn’t finished using them yet — not many hotels do that! They also provided free slippers when we asked, and having umbrellas available in the room for us to use anywhere was such a lifesaver, especially since it was rainy season and my husband forgot ours back in Manila. ☔ The breakfast buffet was another highlight — the selection changed every day, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My husband and I truly looked forward to it each morning. Overall, our whole stay was wonderful. We will definitely book here again when we return to Boracay — just next time, I’ll make sure to bring plenty of insect repellent and lotion! 😂

I love everything in this hotel! I love the room all the details! Swimming pool is warm and ok!

Pros The hotel is in a great location. It is right on the beach. Restaurants, bars and stores were all right outside hotel. As you walk out of hotel, you will be bombarded with people selling you things: hair braiding, excursions, seafood, tattoos, bracelets, massages… etc but that’s everywhere on the beach. Hotel staff were great!  They surprised my son with a birthday song and a treat on his birthday. We didn’t even let them know it was his birthday, so they must have noticed on his passport. They took photos and videos of this nice surprise. Upon checkout, hotel also gave us personalize bracelets as thank you gifts. Swimming pool was nice and not too busy. Breakfast was not bad. Lots of options. Great breakfast view.  Cons Our room was really far. We booked for 4 but only had 2 towels in the room. Had to request for more towels as well as hand towels and floor towels as the room don’t have any. Water pressure was terrible. At some point, there was no water coming out of the faucet at all. We couldn’t shower or wash our hands. Staff were super accommodating and changed our room the next day. 2nd room was closer and much newer looking. Water pressure was good but now wifi was not working.
