I arrived at hotel on8/9/25 for a 7 night stay it looked good on advert but don't recall ever seeing it . I used to go to Santa Ponsa very very regular but been some years since there . Its location for a start is just superb . You're walkable to everything . Beach is a bout 200 yards away . Anyway nice walkway up to door and lovely reception area showing also lovely large dining area to right and again lovely large bar lounge area to left . Young lady at reception warm and welcoming and patient with me ( I have a little voice disability) . My room was on first floor so apart from taking my suitcase up I never bothered using the two lifts during stay . My room had two single bed together both good dimensions excellent toilet and shower room to all this and hotel itself lovely and clean . My room did not have sea view but the majority do . Believe me I had a good wee time on that wee holiday and the hotel made it . Thank you . Cheers. DONALD .

Hotel Bendinat in Mallorca is one of those rare gems that feels like a home away from home. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is something I look forward to every time I visit. The hotel’s lush gardens, with their towering palm trees and cozy lounge areas, create an atmosphere of total relaxation. The rooms are elegantly designed in a classic Mediterranean style, with whitewashed walls, wooden accents, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Many of them come with private terraces, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening. While the décor is timeless, the hotel has managed to maintain a fresh and well-kept feel over the years. One of the highlights of every stay is dining at Las Terrazas de Bendinat, the hotel’s restaurant. Sitting right by the sea, it offers some of the best seafood dishes on the island. Their paella and grilled fish are a must-try, and the service is always warm and attentive. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a long, leisurely lunch with a view of the shimmering water. Wow, where to begin. My husband and I brought our 3 year old to Mallorca after moving half way across the world. It was our first break from craziness in a year, and we were lured by the direct flight from our city to visit Mallorca for a week after Christmas.  I found the Elba Sunset after doing a bit of research on where to stay on the island. First, and most importantly, I want to say an immeasurable thank you to the entire staff of the Elba. When I say, I could not have imagined how relaxing, joyful, kind, thoughtful, and generous the staff of this establishment could be, I mean it. They are all truly, truly amazing. (Apologies in advance if names are spelled incorrectly!).I specifically want to thank Marta, Elise, Adrian, Christiane, Henry, Paula, Pedro, the whole cleaning staff, and truly every person I encountered there, for making this vacation, one we really desperately needed, so wonderful. Our son Hugo was embraced and coddled by everyone he met, and was completely accepted and showered with love wherever we went in the hotel. Speaking of the hotel. We were there in the off season, and I cannot recommend it enough. The stunning location, the sun, the bright spacious room with a beautiful sea view, the pool (albeit freezing...not that my husband and son cared!), the spa, and the restaurant overlooking the water. 100 out of 10 for the people who make the Elba Sunset the magical place that it is. The hotel pool looks great, but it's really overcrowded. So many people reserve loungers with their towels early in the morning, by 8 a.m. there are no spots left, and it's obvious nobody is actually using them, just saving them. We booked a sea view room but were given a corner room instead. Looking at Ctrip reviews, I'm not the only one this has happened to, which makes me wonder if it's discrimination against Chinese guests. On the plus side, the room seemed bigger than in the photos. As for the sea view, we checked in late at night, so I couldn't be bothered to deal with it.

Location: The area is very quiet, which was lovely for relaxing. There's a bus stop just a minute's walk away, and buses run frequently, making it easy to get around. There are also a few local shops and restaurants nearby, which was convenient. Hotel Staff: The receptionists were absolutely lovely warm, welcoming, and caring from the moment I arrived. The cleaners were also friendly and did a great job. However, my room was located right opposite the cleaners’ cabinet on floor 4, and they would start slamming doors around 7 AM, which disturbed my sleep. Room Experience: My air conditioning wasn’t working when I first arrived, but it was fixed within 30 minutes by the generator technician, which I appreciated. Restaurant & Food: The restaurant staff on the last floor level especially the waitresses, were sometimes a bit too pushy, and a few would finish their personal conversations before serving( a bit unprofessional.) The restaurant food was a letdown. I ordered a pizza for €10, but it looked nothing like the photo and was highly disappointing. On the flip side, breakfast was a standout plentiful, delicious, and beautifully presented. I’ve never had such a generous breakfast at a hotel. The breakfast staff were also amazing and attentive. Well done to them! Facilities: The swimming pool was great, and if you love swimming in the sea, this is the place for you beautiful access and views. Solo Travel Notes: I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're a solo traveler looking to meet people. Most of the guests seemed a bit unfriendly, and as an ethnic minority, I experienced a few uncomfortable stares. This isn't the hotel's fault necessarily,.

The hotel is located in the beautiful district of Santa Ponsa - mountains, greenery, sea. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony. Quiet area (you can sleep at night). The hotel has two swimming pools - one for adults and one for children, and there is animation. You can walk to the beach in 15-17 minutes. There are shops and cafes nearby. Of the minuses: no coffee machine 🥲 Payment on site/in cafes only by card. The bed linen smelled damp. If you leave the room, the refrigerator stops working (so ask for a second magnetic card, otherwise the food in the refrigerator will spoil).

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious with everything needed. The different swimming pool spaces are top. Mini golf courses, billiards, beach volley, really everything needed to spend a good holiday. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, and it is very comfortable and comfortable.

Honestly, we were very excited before arriving at this hotel, but after checking in, we found that the facilities were not what we had expected. The entertainment options were very limited. Apart from the children’s water slides and having a drink at the bar in the evening, there was very little else to do. We booked the All Inclusive package, but unfortunately the food quality was quite average. Many dishes lacked flavour and were rather bland. Although the food looked appealing and well presented at first glance, the actual taste was very disappointing. Most dishes were flavourless and lacked proper seasoning. The cooking quality was poor, and many items seemed badly prepared. For example, the French fries and hash browns were consistently soggy and soft rather than crispy, making them unpleasant to eat. The food may look good on display, but unfortunately it did not match the taste or quality we expected from an All Inclusive hotel. What disappointed us most was the restaurant service. During a meal of approximately one hour, not a single staff member came to clear our plates. We constantly had to rearrange our table ourselves in order to make space for the next course. The children’s pool area is also misleading. The pool with the slides is extremely shallow and not suitable for adults who want to swim. To use another swimming pool, guests are required to pay an additional €30. As a result, our family could not really enjoy the pool facilities together, as only the children could use the slides while the adults had nowhere suitable to swim. The reception service was also disappointing. In particular, one staff member named Andrew (or a similar name) never once smiled or appeared welcoming during our three-day stay. We passed through reception many times and asked for information on several occasions, yet he always seemed unfriendly and uninterested. This significantly affected our overall impression of the hotel. On a positive note, the room cleanliness was acceptable. However, we were surprised that no proper duvet or blanket was provided. Even though we travelled in June, the nights were still quite cool, and it was difficult to sleep comfortably with only a thin bedsheet. A proper blanket should be a basic amenity for guests. Overall, this hotel did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price paid for an All Inclusive stay. There is certainly room for improvement in the food quality, restaurant service, facilities, and customer service.

Really great stay unlike the comments I read which scared me 🙄☺️ Attentive customers and lots of advice, I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a superior triple room, such a stunning view and the whole hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly and we felt very welcomed! The main pool is lovely, the only thing I would say is that I saw on the pool rules that you can’t reserve sun beds, yet many people left towels on them all day and you never saw them until late afternoon, which isn’t fair on everyone. Nothing against the hotel at all, but if you want a sunbed, you need to reserve one in the morning!
