✨ A hidden gem in Taizhou: Fuchen Yin 府城隐 What makes this hotel truly special is its incredible story — a beautiful transformation from an old 财神庙 (temple of the God of Wealth, so yes… extra good fortune vibes 😉) and a historic printing factory into a serene luxury retreat. Tucked away in a quiet residential alley and accessible by buggy, the hotel feels like a secret escape from the busy world. The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of calm. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with generous spaces to unwind, relax, and simply enjoy the moment. My favourite corners? The library, where I spent time getting lost among the books, and the piano area, where I happily played a few tunes. These little details made the stay feel more like a home away from home rather than just a hotel. The breakfast was an absolute highlight — a celebration of Taizhou’s local flavours. I loved discovering so many regional specialties: 🍵 青草糊 — a refreshing grass jelly dessert with a wonderful touch of peppermint that made it even more refreshing 🍜 姜汤面 and 芋头面 — comforting local noodle dishes 🍰 三色糕 🍚 乌饭麻糍 (with red bean filling) 🥟 扁食 …and so many more delicious local treats that I wish I had a bigger stomach! They even helped me buy the famous 海苔饼 — the whole reason I came to Taizhou — and it arrived piping hot. Truly the kind of thoughtful service that makes a trip memorable. The hotel facilities are exceptional. From the beautifully designed spaces to the thoughtful amenities, everything has been carefully considered. The bed deserves a special mention — probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. They also provide turndown service, luxurious toiletries, and a complimentary minibar (which, by the way, included local rice wine 🍶 — just saying 😉). A huge thank you to every member of the Fuchen Yin team for making my stay so warm and memorable. The combination of history, design, local culture, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality makes this one of the most unique stays I’ve experienced. Definitely a place I would love to return to. 🤍

Relatively speaking, it is quite convenient Service: Xiao Hu, the front desk staff, can follow up on guests' needs and solve problems in a timely manner, which is good!

The environment is excellent. For a hotel under 500 RMB, the decor and layout are very satisfactory. The location is also decent, quite close to Ziyang Street. There are plenty of local snacks nearby. The biggest plus is the breakfast – very plentiful and thoughtfully prepared, including all local specialties, saving us lazy people a lot of effort in exploring different restaurants. The service is acceptable, considering it's Atour Hotel and not expensive, we can't expect too much. Overall, I'm satisfied.

All five-star praise! Opposite the hotel is East Lake, it is convenient to go to Ziyang Street and Range Rover Gate, and it is easy to walk. From the beginning of the consultation before check-in, I felt full of sincerity. The staff patiently answered various questions and took the initiative to help contact the chartered car, saving a lot of trouble. After arriving at the store, the service is more intimate and thoughtful, the check-in process is smooth and efficient, the staff carefully helps with luggage, and the same is true when leaving the store. Every detail makes people feel warm. The hotel provides free afternoon tea, self-service coffee, tea, the hotel is also equipped with a laundry room, washing machine, dryer are all available, I can't wait for the drying in a hurry, the staff helped to install it and sent it directly to the room, it was really intimate! The room environment is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is rich and fresh, and the details in all aspects reflect the carefulness of the hotel management, which really makes people feel at home. I have lived in so many hotels, the service experience is definitely the best one, highly recommended!

The room was clean, quiet, and really comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful too. The breakfast had lots of variety, and they even offered afternoon tea and supper, which was pretty tasty. The location is great — lots of food places nearby, and it’s easy to grab a Didi to the scenic spots. Definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting the city!

This stay at Linhai was a wonderful experience. We went to the hotel reception desk hoping to change to a twin room, but they were very friendly and upgraded us. They also provided us with noodles and milk for dinner. They also promptly provided ice cubes for the bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. They even provided foot bath bags, allowing us to soak while enjoying the night view. This was the first pleasant surprise. The second pleasant surprise was the bowl of noodles we had in the evening. Having eaten too much at Rong Xiaoguan, we decided to try the noodles at the hotel. We ordered the vegetarian noodles, which were surprisingly delicious. They were surprisingly satisfying. Even with a full stomach, we ate one bowl and still wanted more. The breakfast the next day was excellent, combining local Linhai flavors with the standard amenities of most hotels. The taste was also quite good. The pool was not crowded during the day and looked clean, making it a great place for the kids to play in the water. Overall, the experience was positive, and I would definitely stay at Yuanzhou again when visiting Linhai.

Linhai in early April was absolutely beautiful! Over the holiday, I experienced both glorious sunshine and the misty, rainy charm of Jiangnan, taking in a variety of captivating sights. The New Century Mingting Hotel is perfectly situated between Ziyang Street and Donghu Lake, with both just about 500 meters away, so I walked everywhere during my entire stay. There were also diverse dining options; I checked out Rong Xiaoguan and a local old-style restaurant. The hotel was clean and the service was warm. When it started to drizzle on my way to Donghu Lake, the concierge even offered an umbrella! 🌂

The hotel front desk service is warm and thoughtful. All requests are met. The room has a good view and is clean and tidy. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. Disadvantages: Since it is a view room, the view window glass is too dirty; The hotel towels are too worn and the threads are long, which is really an eyesore!

The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Linhai Station, in a lively area. The rooms are large, but the service is average. They provide very few tissues; when I asked the cleaning lady, she was reluctant to give me any. When I asked at the front desk if food could be heated, the receptionist answered in detail, but she was looking at her computer the whole time and didn't look up, which felt a bit disrespectful. I've had black rice cakes for breakfast for two days in a row, which is disappointing. The sand garlic and bean noodles at the fifth-floor Chinese restaurant are delicious.
