The view is excellent, the view is super invincible, you can see this Shangri-La town, especially in the morning and afternoon, you can see the sunrise and sunset, the night view is also super invincible and beautiful 🤩 The facilities in the store are all available, the supporting facilities are particularly perfect, the overall environment is quiet and comfortable, and the body and mind are relaxed. Traveling is the first choice! The landscape and design are really invincible!

Congratulations to the ”lobby manager” for his great personality. He provided considerate services such as welcoming guests, sending (hot spring) baths, accompanying breakfast (and asking you for a bite by the way), etc. Hahaha.
The hotel is located in the Rhododendron Valley. Although it was not the flower season when we arrived, we drove all the way and passed by alpine pastures and river valley streams. The hotel is not far from the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. There is also the ******* Chitu Village a few kilometers away, and a niche viewing platform where you can see the sunrise Jinshan.
The hotel's signature hot spring is very good, and the hot water in the room is also hot spring water. After washing, the skin is smooth, and there is no sulfur smell, because it is a metasilicic acid hot spring? In the plateau area, there are three low, medium and high temperature pools. After a day of playing, I came back to soak in the hot spring to watch the stars, and applied a small mask. The experience was not too comfortable~
The hotel service is also very considerate. There will be a one-to-one reception sister when you arrive at the store (it should not be a designated person, but the one who is in charge of us happens to be a beautiful girl with a good personality), who will respond to the needs of guests at any time. Brother Dengmi at the front desk personally took us to see the Golden Mountain in the Rizhao Mountains, unlocking the sacred mountain experience at zero cost. By the way, Chitu Village is his hometown, a beautiful village where you can see snow-capped mountains, surrounded by mountains, with large grasslands, wild rabbits, ******* pheasants, and deer parks. It is worth staying here for a while~
In general, except for the location that may require self-driving, everything else is perfect, recommended~

AAnonymous UserThis was absolutely the most heartwarming surprise of my entire high-altitude trip, and I have to give it a huge shout-out! The guesthouse was incredibly well-equipped, so there was no need to worry about the inconveniences of high altitude. Our room was bright and comfortable, with ample heating at night, keeping it neither dry nor cold, and I slept soundly. You could tell the owner had great design ideas; every detail was thoughtfully designed, making the stay incredibly convenient. The most touching thing was that the next day, we had to catch an early flight and weren't even expecting to have breakfast, but the thoughtful housekeeper had already packed a hot breakfast for us. This kind of service is truly exceptional, and it warmed my heart the whole way. This place isn't just a guesthouse; it felt like a second home on the plateau. Highly recommended!

The restaurant's dinner menu was excellent! Lots of food, delicious! It’s more than four kilometers away from the scenic area by car! Special reminder: If you drive yourself, you need to drive to the scenic spot parking lot. There is a large parking building in the scenic spot, and there is an elevator to the visitor center and ticket office. If you buy tickets online, you can go directly to the entrance of the scenic spot with your ID card! When you are approaching the entrance of the scenic area, someone will wave to everyone to drive into a parking lot. You must be extra careful. I don’t know if these parking lots are standardized, so it is better to be careful!

We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog!
We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view.
The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy.
Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious.
They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

* **Excellent Location, Convenient Transportation:** The hotel's location is fantastic! It's very close to the Yading Scenic Area Visitor Center, just a few minutes' drive away, saving a lot of valuable time and energy. This is especially important for tourists who need to get up early to enter the scenic area! Restaurants and supplies are also conveniently located nearby.
* **Warm and Homey, Thoughtful Facilities:** * **High Altitude Sickness Care:** As a high-altitude hotel, altitude sickness is a primary concern. The hotel thoughtfully provided diffused oxygen supply (our room had it), greatly alleviating the discomfort of arriving at high altitude. A good night's sleep is crucial for recovery! The room also had a humidifier, which was very effective against dryness.
* **Comfortable and Clean Room:** The room was spacious and warmly decorated. The bedding was soft and clean, and I slept very soundly. The bathroom facilities were modern, and the hot water was plentiful and reliable, making showering no problem at all (a rare find at high altitudes!). Our room also had a nice view.
The underfloor heating was excellent: The temperature in Daocheng drops at night, but the underfloor heating in the room was incredibly effective. It was warm and cozy as soon as we entered, instantly dispelling the chill and making us feel right at home. 🔥 The service was warm and welcoming: From check-in to check-out, every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions and helped with our luggage. They responded quickly to any requests. Especially regarding our anxieties about being new to the high altitude, they provided very practical advice and showed great care, making us feel very warm.
The breakfast was plentiful and energizing: The breakfast selection was diverse, including both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was good. Hot porridge, noodles, eggs, side dishes, bread, milk, and coffee were all excellent sources of energy, laying the foundation for a day of hiking. The restaurant environment was also quite nice.
High Cost-Effectiveness: Considering its location, facilities (especially oxygen supply and underfloor heating), and service, the Tianyue Hotel offers excellent value for money in Daocheng's unique geographical location. It provided solid logistical support for our trip.
Summary: If you're planning a trip to Daocheng Yading and looking for a hotel that's conveniently located, effectively addresses altitude sickness, offers comfortable and warm accommodations, and provides attentive service, the Daocheng Tianyue Hotel is definitely a highly recommended choice! It made our high-altitude trip much less worrying, and gave us peace of mind and comfort. GGuest UserI chose this hotel during my National Day holiday trip to Daocheng. Parking was very convenient, and the accommodation was exceptionally clean. The room even had a humidifier. These were the two best nights of rest I had during my trip. Every morning, I saw the staff mopping the floor, leaving the entire room sparkling clean – a rare find in a ******* tourist area. Thumbs up! 👍 The hotel itself is also very unique! Overall, a fantastic stay, highly recommended.

GGuest UserThis is probably the best hotel in Shangri-La. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and they offer a post-hike foot massage. The front desk agent, Xiaolin, was very friendly and attentive, even helping me order oxygen tanks. I absolutely had to order the medical-grade 58-yuan tank; other 20-30 yuan tanks wouldn't work. The 58-yuan tank is high-pressure pure oxygen, and a few deep puffs are incredibly effective when I have a headache. I used four tanks and it worked flawlessly. Milk Lake is 5,500 meters above sea level, a nearly 20-kilometer round trip. With only 120 tickets available per day, I only managed to avoid the 8-kilometer round trip. Unless you arrive at the scenic area by 7 a.m., you'll never get a ticket. A must-have for hiking!

As soon as I entered the lobby, I felt the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. The check-in procedure was quick and smooth, and I also intimately introduced me to the fun places and restaurants around. The rooms are clean and tidy, the layout is warm and comfortable, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and I don't want to get up when I lie down. The facilities in the room are all available, the smart equipment is very convenient to use, the bathroom has no smell, and the quality of toiletries is very good. The hotel's dining is also worth mentioning. The breakfast is rich in variety, both Chinese and Western, and the taste is delicious, which can meet the needs of different tastes. This hotel is impeccable in terms of service, environment and facilities. I will choose here next time I come here. I highly recommend it to everyone!
