4-Star Hotels in Changde

This was my second stay, and the experience was still very good. The parking lot was huge, and the front desk service was efficient. They would select a suitable room type according to the guests' requirements. Perhaps because it's close to Dahe Street and Liuye Lake, this hotel seemed to be very popular and busy. The complimentary iced lemon and cucumber water in the lobby was very refreshing, and the availability of both hot and cold drinks was a thoughtful touch. When the service manager noticed a child crying in the lobby, he immediately brought a small gift bag to soothe the child. The room was clean and tidy, and the complimentary desserts in the evening were also very delicious. Overall, this is a hotel worth the effort to write a review for.

I had a great experience in this hotel, hotel was really nice and clean, amenities and room cleaned daily, it is really premium hotel experience. I went to a hotel restaurant, we were a group of around 8 people food was really nice and service was good I recommend this hotel, will come back :)

Facilities: The hotel facilities are quite complete, they look very grand and comfortable, and most of them are good to use, but there are some regrets in the details. The flushing volume of the toilet is too small, and there will be residue after the flushing. The faucet for washing the face is too hard to control. If the water is too large, it will accumulate water, and if it is too small, the pressure is not enough. The bathing water is very comfortable and large, and the water is fast. It is found that the wallpaper in the room is peeling off, and I hope it will be repaired in time. Hygiene: It is basically clean, the towels and bath towels are also clean and soft, and there are many stains on the sheets after washing, which makes people feel very bad. Environment: The environment is not bad, the hotel looks very grand, and the sound insulation of the door is a bit poor. Service: The professional quality of the waiter needs to be improved. On my way back from Guiyang, I chose Taohuayuan Hotel. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant. There is a lake in front of the hotel and an ancient town block behind it. The room is clean and comfortable, and it is very cultural. The typical Suzhou Jiangnan decoration style, as well as the garden design sense, make the room warm and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant environment is also quite beautiful, and the breakfast is rich and delicious, especially the beef noodles, which are refreshing and delicious. Pet friendly with free parking. The beautiful boss is gentle and warm. We brought our dog and were afraid that the room would be small, so we were given a free room upgrade. We booked a double bed room and were given a free upgrade to the loft. He also gave us his home-brewed rice wine, which was very delicious, and I was very grateful. The inn is suitable for family, friends and family to have a leisure vacation, a couple's trip or a date with close friends. Every photo you take is beautiful. A very wonderful stay experience. I'm absolutely smitten with the Waldorf Hotel after my visit to Changde! First off, I have to rave about the room – it's incredibly spacious with a well-thought-out and expansive layout. There's no cramped feeling whatsoever, making for a truly relaxing stay. The service is also top-notch, with attention to detail that really makes you feel cared for, leading to an excellent overall experience. And the breakfast definitely deserves praise; it offers a wide variety of delicious options. It's such a joy to head out and explore after a satisfying meal! All in all, this is definitely a hidden gem of a hotel in Changde that's worth booking~

We needed accommodation for the night to catch an early flight the next morning. Location: Ideally located within 10-15 minutes from the Airport, with convenient access to restaurants and massage services within walking distance. Cleanliness: We found the place to be impeccably clean with no issues whatsoever. Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Facilities: One standout feature was the presence of a little shop in the lobby, which we found quite convenient. Some shops were closed as we were traveling during Chinese New Year. I liked the availability of modern sitting toilets and squatting toilets. The provided slippers were remarkably comfortable, and we also found the establishment to be U.S. passport-friendly. Not bad for the price you pay for.

The hotel's location is great – it's not noisy, but still only about a 20-minute walk to attractions like Daxiaohe Street and the Poetry Wall, or a roughly 15-yuan taxi ride. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby. What really stood out was Manager Chen's professionalism; she helped us resolve an issue very promptly. Five stars across the board! I do have two suggestions regarding breakfast: 1. I recommend adding a lightbulb to the rice noodle station's prep area. It's too dark for the staff working there, which could be a safety hazard. 2. It would be beneficial to add another staff member to the breakfast area to work alongside the current attendant. One person could handle refilling and serving food, while the other focuses on cleaning. Otherwise, the current attendant is left juggling a cleaning cloth and serving at the same time.

The hotel service was very warm and welcoming, and the location was convenient. There was a large supermarket downstairs, which was convenient for business trips. The hotel had a great view with no obstructions, offering excellent views of the river and mountains. The facilities were also quite good, and the hotel was good value for money. It seemed that the tangerines in Shimen were ripe, as a plate of tangerines was provided in the room. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would choose the hotel again if I had the chance.

We booked two rooms together. The room was very big. The bedding was soft, comfortable and clean. I had a good sleep. The room has good sound insulation and you can't hear any noise from outside. My family said that it's rare to find such a cheap price. It's really cost-effective. The waiter is very friendly and answers all questions with a good attitude.

Great location, very close to both Dahe Street and Xiaohe Street. The room was spacious and bright, well-equipped with everything we needed, and even included laundry detergent, which was a thoughtful touch. The service was excellent; they gave us detailed and patient recommendations for the surrounding area. Highly recommend!
