3-Star Hotels in Comal County

My boyfriend and I came here for a short getaway. We live about 20 miles away, but it's flat and boring where we live. I got the suite in room 102. When I booked online, it mentioned the Jacuzzi tub was not working, and I didn't mind that. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it had been fixed. The room was slightly outdated as far as decor, but sometimes to me, that helps with the ”away from home” feeling. I was nervous about a queen sized bed, but it was perfect, wasn't hard, and we slept great. We will definitely come back, with our little puppy in tow. The one downside: The rooms are non-smoking (thank you), but as such, everyone sits downstairs smoking and the smoke wafts up to the balcony. Part of the reason I picked this room was for the balcony, but due to the smoke, it wasn't a pleasant experience. It would be nice if a smoking area would be designated away from the building.

This is a nice and clean place. It’s easy to get to right off I35 and has plenty of places to eat & shop around it. Staff was friendly as well…

Hotel was outdated on outside, updated on inside; good stay just not what I was expecting esthetically.
